  5. What's up guys, I have a 00 jeep grand cherokee. I have two crescendo 5500s and three zv4 18s which I'll be selling for two nsv3 18s. This is my first wall I'm building and I want to make sure I'm using the right ratio and box size. I was thinking of using a 3:1 ratio and anywhere from 2.5-3 cubes sealed per woofer and 15-18 ported for the pair with a 25-47hz range. Any help or suggestions is much appreciated.

Car Audio Classifieds -- Part I of this project from April 2010. Continued from last year... since we proved the prior box worked so well even made from super low grade plywood we finally got around to making one from genuine Russian 13-ply birch plywood. Derrick was up for some testing yesterday and was able to stay up here to work on this box for me today -- on to the pictures : * Back wall cut -- have some weight on the port to hold the glue down for a bit as it will be permanently attached from the inside. * High strength 3M Epoxy glue to hold it in.

So Derrick came up today and constructed a box for me for my four SA-8s... still two 1500Ds on one Stinger SPP-1500D and one Stinger SPV-70 battery on Powermaster Charger (car off). We built the box from scrap 5-layer pine plywood for testing... we plan to use birch ply for another version at a later date. Results here :

Had a few requests for videos. Made one playing "Trap or Die" by Jeezy. Seemed to be about the same on the meter door open or closed. Link to video : Four of the new SA-12s being used on two 3500Ds @ 1 ohm each (turned down of course as these are 600-watt rated subs).

I understand that the specs on this amp state 160x2 @ 4 ohm bridged and they are underrated. I was just wondering what these amps normally put out at 2 channels @ 4 ohm bridged.

I ordered a 50.4 in hopes of bridging it to get the proper power I need out of my midbasses. After purchasing the amplifier, I looked at the wiring diagram for bridging and it only shows mono subwoofer. I wanted to run these at stereo for my midbasses xover actively from 60-1.2kHz. Is bridging out of the question?

Here is the deal... 5000-watt amplifier (SAZ-5000D) Factory rated specifications: ~4000 @ 13 volts ~5000 @ 14 volts ~7000 @ 18 volts As with the 3000D these are quite likely conservative at the lower voltages as we have found that the 3000Ds produce 3000 watts down to very low voltages. --- $1200 pre-order pricing ($2199 MSRP) 6 month standard warranty * 2 year discounted replacement warranty ** * - Not warrantied for 1/2 ohm operation - this is a given but I want to spell it out just in case. ** - Meaning if you blow it up you will get a replacement at a discount after sending in the blown amp - but it will not be a free replacement / repair like the standard warranty. D…

Jacob, Are there any plans on making a 6 channel amp? 50X4 125X2 or preferably 100X4 250X2? If so I can hold out. I really want a matching Sundown 6 channel. My other options are Mcintosh or Tru at least as far as I can find. And I hate to part with the green that those brands would cost me for no other benefit than the "Look what I got!" BS.

  19. I understand the concept of bridging and individual channels and the impedences that the amp handle. What i dont understand is that load that would be created in a 6 channel tri mode on the 100.4. I am planning to get this amp and rainbow slc 265.25 ng's for my fronts and rear doors and they are 4-ohm comps. Np with that but i was peaking at the manual and noticed you could do a 6 channel tri mode and if i added mid bass or subwoofers, what wattage and impedence would be put onto the amp. This is a concern because i don't want to ruin any speakers that i add. I am really trying to create a good sounding system, i care more about bass created by speakers than having to…

Vehicle is a 99 Suburban w/no 3rd row. List of current equipment: Singer 275a alt, 4/0 power/ground, XS D3400 front, 6 Deka Intimidators rear. I'm considering changing my current setup already & going with the 6-E12's on a SAZ-3500. Curious how many people,if any, have experience using them in multiples. I have about 30cu ft net roughly before sub, bracing, & port displacement. Any suggestions or input are welcomed. I'm changing my current subs/amp setup to show what entry level subs can do.
