I have a SAE 1200d and i'm wondering if it is strappable ? If it is , would it require anything other than another amp ? Also what would the power rating be at 4 ohms ? Thanks in advance for any help .

On June 24th 2011, I ordered a pair of Sundown Z-18 v.2 D2 Subs from woofersetc.com Roughly a week and a half later the subs were received but when unboxed the basket of one of them was severely cracked in 2 places. I contacted woofersetc, and they set up a claim with fed ex. Roughly a week later fed ex came out and picked up the sub and due to some type of miscommunication it was shipped all the way back to CA. The sub wasn't supposed to go back, due to a shortage of baskets they were searching high and low for a basket and I was going to get broken sub back, transfer the magnet assembly and re-cone it myself. After several phone calls and emails to both sundown a…

To order a re-cone e-mail [email [email protected]][email protected] -- do not e-mail my "sundownz" address if you need a quick response. To reduce back-and-forth e-mails ALWAYS include the following : 1) What you are ordering -- Model, Coil Configuration, Etc. 2) If you already have a basket or not; please check below for any special notes. 3) If you need ANY custom options please specify up front. 4) !!! YOUR ADDRESS AND NAME !!! 5) A picture of what you have goes a long way to be SURE we are talking about the same thing. IT WILL TAKE, ON AVERAGE, 10-14 days for a built item like a drop-in to be completed. It may take longer depending on how busy ou…

  14. I know alot of folks have a hard time understanding my explanation of this all in text format; so lets visualize it based on some Klippel results. I had the first Z v.4 15" prototype Klippel tested; as explained on the image the production model will test even better since I did a hyper-extended pole compared to the standard height pole extension on the sample but I haven't had a chance to actually re-do the test -- but I have verified in FEA and via doing similar comparisons with Klippel on other drivers with the same changes what the result would be. The SA-12 is a production unit -- and most people know how an SA-12 sounds; and most people love it. It has what I woul…

This is our second full-range Class-D / 19v stable multi-channel to hit the market after the SAX-125.4 model. It is a VERY compact unit designed to fit just about anywhere. They are available NOW for $400 from any authorized dealer in the USA. ----------

I am going out of town for an extended business trip on July 23rd -- I will be returning August 5th. I am the only one that will be gone; everyone else will still be here. That DOES mean that I will temporarily close down ordering of Refurbished Woofers and the Yard Sale while I am away since I manage those two projects myself. That DOES NOT mean anything else will be majorly affected. The entire rest of the staff will still be here -- but please avoid sending messages directly to me at "sundownz" or "jacob" e-mails as I will have very limited responses during those dates.

Ok I have a saz1500d and a ns v.1 12 inch sub. Box is currently 1.45 cubes after sub displacement and current port. Port is a single 4inch aeroport which is as long as can be without touching sub, don't remember actual length, however, I do know I punched it into the port calculator on 12volt.com and it was 38.3 hz roughly. I want to bring it down to about 32-34hz. My question is would it make a big difference if I used a 3inch port with my flared ends of my 4inch aeroport? Or should I just go with two 2 inch aeroports. I would like to use what I have currently but wanted some answers to this question. Second question, should I just keep what I have since its a hig…

I've had this guy for a while but it seems I never posted up about it. Here are some photos of it -- tests out very similar to the SAX-1200D in power but is in our new narrow casing with a new layout. Pre-order coming soon along with 2500D v.2 and 3500D v.2 models... ETA by end of January 2013. * Much smaller than SAZ-1500D

The car is a 2008 Scion xB, the sub is in the rear cargo area in a 2cu ft ported enclosure tuned to 29hz (I will be updating my build thread with that info as well) Sub is on the drivers side facing the hatch port is on the passenger side facing the wall which was recommended to me and works VERY well. Build quality is outstanding, great fit and…
