What would you compare the output to 1 12, 2 12's, 1 15 (all on same power ~1500 rms)? I know this is install dependent but just curious as too a rough estimate what 4 SA-8's on 1500 rms would be comparable to in output. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

After they are discontinued and replaced by the 2000? I plan on buying another in a few months and dont want to have to buy a completely different amp, would like to match the two.

No offense to anyone, ive never heard one. i'm just curious, but what is so great about a sundown audio amp, I have read the specs and they seam good, but there thd distortion isn't that low, and people always recommend the 1500rms version for an xcon and I always wondered why?? I have read they have plenty of raw power, but i'm the kind of guy that likes to know every detail.

I know u dont recommend to run the SAZ 1500 @.5ohms but if I do do I have enough electrical? I have one deka intimidator (55 a/h) under the hood 2 runs of 0/1 to the back to a data safe (100+ a/h) and 2 105 amp alternators big 3 what do u think?

I have talked to several other Team Sundown members and all of us seem to want the same thing, bigger amps:D Its ok running several 3000D's(becomes a space issue) but it would be very nice to have a 5k or even a 7k. I am sure there is a big enough market that these would sell. Everyone wants big power now and this would do the trick. For the other people that would like bigger Sundown amps please post here!

As some of you may know, I am the one who had the first pair of Nightshades delivered, thanks a whole lot Chad and Jacob. I've run into major financial problems and I need a little bit of room to breathe. My subs are the ones pictured in most of the earlier threads from Chad. The subs are still in mint condition and were only hooked up for a maximum of 3 weeks due to amp and now engine problems. I can post more pictures but as the title says, 15" Nightshade D2.
