I like these subs and they were tough to beat for the price. (Light, Loud, Clean, Effecient) I didn't have ONE unhappy SD-1 customer. What was everyone's opinion on these subs? Look. An unofficial 130dB off a "100" watt amp. Enclosure by James Taylor.

Got it in today. I will be doing some testing over the next few days -- here is a comparison to the 1500D v.2 model -- the new v.3 is longer to fit all of the new parts and the fan but is narrower. The newer 2500D v.2 and 3500D v.2 will actually shrink in width AND length compared to the old units for reference. * The fan blows through the board to expel air out the sides of the amp. Will do a heck of a job in terms of cooling

As much as I love the beast that is the 200.4 it's our lowest selling model. We are teaming up with WoofersEtc.com to get this closed out -- keep your eye on their site for them to be added at a special price. I am saving one for my personal car as it's an awesome amp -- so if you wanted one get in touch with WoofersEtc.com soon

We are working on 12x 15s for a customer build... few teaser shots -- more as it progresses. These are being customized with chrome 4-spoke frames. Standard build otherwise with 2 spiders, single leads, and standard cone -- most efficient setup for this application.

Today was a local dB Drag event here in Sacramento. My first comp running Sundown Audio and I took 1st in Bass Race 149.9 class. I was the only person there running Sundown Audio so I was representing! Qualifieing I held a 49.9 for about 10 full seconds right off the bat but then hit a 150 so I drop it down and ended with a 149.5. On my run I did a 149.6. Im really Happy with Sundown!!! I have pix and videos uploading but will take a wile. Ill post them up when there finished. All and all it was a good day excpet I think my 200A alt is on it's way out! =(

Hey jacob. I recently built a box for my 2 sa8s. I was told it might be too big for the power im throwing at it.I built it with birtch, 2.25 cubes @ 30.2 hz. Im using 2 3inch 14 inches long. Im going to use my saz-3000d @ 2 ohm. I know i have to watch my gain. what would be the best box size for 30 hz for that power? Here is a pic of my work.

Had a friend of ours in the industry put these on their Amp Dyno to verify power since people have asked us about it. All SAE amps meet or exceed ratings @ 1 % THD on the Dyno. SAE-1000D v.2 : * 1 ohm Dynamic test; works out similar to clamped results SAE-600D : * Certified; when I did a "clamp" test on the prototype it worked out similarly to the SAE-1000D Dynamic burst as I clamped around 50% over the certified figures. SAE-50.4 : * Per channel * Per channel * Bridged @ 4 ohms

First of all I would like to thank Jacob for giving me the oppurtunity to buy his amp! installed The saz-1500 replaced my RFt10001bd, All I can say is wow! this amp had more balls, sounded better, and took less space! I am not the techie kind of guy but for a consumers point of view, the most important thing is that the product gave an improvement,it did not let you down, performed more than expected and most of all you know that you are backed by an excellent guy! The amp is driving 2 12" Oz MAtrix eLite head unit is a clarion hx-d2,seps are Legatia 631 and amp for the seps is an Audison Lrx 6.9. I wouldnt hesitate to buy from jacob again, he is a nice gentleman to ta…

Ok, got my 3000d today. Wired it to 1/2 ohm, and it just doesn't seem to be putting out power. i had the gain set at about 1/2 and it just seems like it's not puttin out the power. voltage read 14.53 and amp read exactly 0.5ohms. Also, when i turn it up to where i normally listen to it at the subs start cuttin in and out so i turned the gain down more and also turned the sub control down to like 5/15 and it still does it. Voltage barely drops, and it's really not loud AT ALL. what could be the problem?? Also, the amp never went in to protect or anything, i'm stumped...

Just got the new 1200d, setup with knukonceptz 4 gauge and my old 80 amp fuse from my alpine pdx 600 watt, and so far it sounds a lot more like 600 than 1200. Would I see a huge improvement if I upgraded to 1/0? The reason I ask is KnuKonceptz site says their 4 gauge handles 200 amps, and apparently the 1200 pulls only 150 amps. Either way, I'm definitely upgrading my fuse to 150 like it should be.

Hi guys my name is Joey aka ronrico41I8. Wanted to go with the Sundown guys about this as I figure you'd have the best ideas considering familiarity with this product. Just purchased a SAZ-3000D that I plan on using w/Fi subs. I plan on purchasing a 100.4 and 100.2 in the near future. I would like to get away with using 4-6 batteries as my ride should be bagged in January and I need room for the air tank and enclosure. I would like a high voltage electrical sytem that can get me 5000 watts out of this baby. Is this possible? What is the highest voltage system I can use on a vehicle that is driven just several times a month. Whip is a 1988 Chevy S10 Blazer with V8 …

I have teamed up with Mike once again; this time to clear out QC failed SA-8s at a discount. We have worked with Mike before on E8s that failed QC so I am sharing this offer with my forums. They are all new drivers that didn't pass on our bench test; which is performed on all speakers and amps that ship from Sundown. Mike is re-building them with our latest updated soft parts. Note : These do not carry warranty from Sundown Audio. We are not re-building this in house; the work is done by Mike so they must be ordered from him and not us. --- I will be selling Sundown’s inventory of SA-8s that have failed quality control testing. Each of these woofers were tested by Jaco…
