what is the avereage gain when i pull out all the rear plastic????? i need to beat a guy in a local comp. i did a 151.4 and he did a 152.9 If i remeber right it was 2 db! Any help before next satureday would be great

"I got a little dyslexic on the title" I've got a 100.4D on the way and was wondering if anyone has experience with these speakers. There is a $100 difference between these two companies. They are going in a Honda CRV with limited depth. These would probably install without spacer rings. Any other suggestions on component 6.5's would be helpful. anyone happen to know how much more current a 3500d would draw<1ohm> then 2 1500's strapped <2ohm> thinking about changing out the 1500's for a 3500 to save room but have heard they are power hungry as it stands now i never drop under 12.2 at full tilt not sure if my electrical can handle the 3500 thow fact alt deka under the hood and 2 more in the back big3 2 runs 0 back to other batts

What kind of current draws can I expect from the 1500D and the 100.2? I see that the combined fuse rating is 220 amps, but I assume this is under extreme situations. I have been considering incorporating both in my new system, but I only have a 130 amp alt. I really don't want to replace it if I can get away with it. The 1500D would be powering a Q 15 more than likely. Does anybody have any experience running this sub/amp combo? How about the same sub with a 1000D?

So I had my cracked nightshade 12 reconed by Jacob to a 15 and had him add the V2 coil along with a extra spider. Honestly all I can say is Damn I have owned A lot of subs in my life, but this is by far the loudest I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. The bass from this sub is violent. I know my blazer hates me everytime I start my truck. I am pround to tell people I have sundown in my truck, I also own a saz 3500. So if your thinkin of purchasing any sundown product don't think just buy it. Great products Jacob keep up the great work!!! Was hoping I could use the stock frame and I was able to do so! Just had to adapt it a bit... one of our spider bolt down rings worked perfectly for the job. This woofer has 3 Hard Nightshade spiders, a Z v.2 prototype D2 coil (tight gap so NS coil would not fit), and a light weight cone similar to the Z v.1 but with a wide roll surround. On June 24th 2011, I ordered a pair of Sundown Z-18 v.2 D2 Subs from woofersetc.com Roughly a week and a half later the subs were received but when unboxed the basket of one of them was severely cracked in 2 places. I contacted woofersetc, and they set up a claim with fed ex. Roughly a week later fed ex came out and picked up the sub and due to some type of miscommunication it was shipped all the way back to CA. The sub wasn't supposed to go back, due to a shortage of baskets they were searching high and low for a basket and I was going to get broken sub back, transfer the magnet assembly and re-cone it myself. Whats the cut out DIAM for the Nightshade 12".....?

ive got a alpine head unit[new],and its powern off if i turn it up past 16 on vol.im running a 1500d and im hittn hard but ive never had this problem before.it skips sometimes but mainly cuts off!!!does anyone know what my problem is or do i just need a new or older radio?thanks guys and ya'll have all been a big help!!!i know its not the amp cause it doesnt cut off till the radio powers off.the only thing thats funny is it turn completely off and then powers right back on!!!

just curious as to what everyone else is tuning at for daily. right now i have a single 15 Nightshade at 32 hz, but i heard that 35hz was better? im looking more ground pounder style then ###'s on a meter. so what is everyone running and tuning wise?

Hello all, My question is as follows: When utilizing the RCA output on an amp, such as the 125.2 or 50.4, how is the outputted signal affected by the crossover and gain settings of the amp it is coming from? For example, if I were to use a 50.4 to run tweeters and mid range, and then I wanted to utilize the RCA out of the 50.4 to connect a 125.2 which I would use to run mid-bass. Will the RCA out of the 50.4 only pass the higher frequency signals that it is set for to run the speakers connected to it, or will it simply pass the signal through that it is receiving from the head unit? Hey guys, I will be entering Db Drag trunk class this up coming season. Im running into a problem and was looking for advice. In trunk class I will be limited to only two batteries total, 15 volts total and 4k of power total that will be clamped at time of burp. Which sundown amp will be the best fit for me? also I plan on using either 2 nsv3 18's or 4 nsv3 12's at .5 ohms.
