Since we tore up the Nightshade proto I decided to have some fun showing off how strong the cone is. I cut the surround off so it would sit flat on the ground and had Justin (local sales rep) stand on the back of the voice coil: Just sits at around 350 pounds Neither the cone or the triple joint glue failed and he bounced up and down a bit while he was on there.

which would be better suited to a 4th order BP install? mainly looking for input from sundownz since he owns both companies and can give their honest opinion. or if someone on here has used both (which I doubt since the SD-2 are still in pre-order). they can be had for about the same price and I was curious.. I am stuck between the Cadence TXA 6004 and the Sundown 100.4. Both sound like great amps with great warranties. What really are the differences other then prices?

Aight I'm planning on buying 1 of 4 custom nightshade 10s that jacob custom made with the blue basket. I wanted to know if this sub would be suitable in a 4th order bandpass enclosure. Also would like to know what's the best frequency to tune the enclosure for daily driver ( I like hip hop music and love the lows lol). I would be using a digital design m1b amplifier to run the sub. Ryan from ram designs will be designing my enclosure most likely but I wanted everyones input b4 I do so. I know the differences between Sundown 15" nightshade and the T3 TSS 15" ??? someone has tested them both? or knows me an answer? I am interested in the differences Structural and application power, etc. etc.

how much will each amp do at 0.5 ohms? i heard 2200 each, and strapped they would do around 4200. is this correct? also, has anyone wired it to 0.5 ohms and ran it daily? if so, did you have any problems with it?

Just whipped up a quick ported box for a 03 Ford Lightning truck for a local here, box came out good and cannot wait to hear it in his truck. Box is pretty simple 1cuft tuned to 35hz with a single aero port. Will be installing this and building his small amp rack this coming weekend, and I have nothing but great expectations on performance from this sub. This is the second local here that I have recommended the SD series too who purchased them. The first I believe picked up a pair of the SD12s.

Ok so I got a set of SA 12's a few months back had originally had two e12's on my old amp but replaced the amp with a saz-1200d and my e12's was dual 2ohm so I ordered two of the new v2 dual 4ohm but find out a few days later they are out of stock.. so thinking I asked if I could just pay the difference for two new Sa12's I was told sure. . So now after having them and meeting a few other people's that have sa's looking at mine it almost looks like I was sent B stock . Im not pointing blame would just like to know because I paid for grade A.. Since the new SAZ-1500d v2 does not have any fuses inside or outside of the amplifier, what is the suggested size for the in line fuse?

Are they any good. I am thinking about getting one. Saz-1500.

Our prior unit had extensive supplier issues to the point where we've just had to write off all of that work and tooling. In any event... I decided to re-visit the X-8 idea and base it on our SA-8 v.2 frame tooling. The first challenge was to make a GREAT spider for a 2.5" coil on an 8" woofer... which is difficult and we used extensive software optimization before tooling. Fortunately our basket allows a spider about 10mm wider than pretty much all other 8" frames out there. Dont really know what amp to buy im bearly gona start building and was wondering if i should go with the rockfosgate t2500 or sundown SAZ-3500d money not a problem , oh and im going to be running one 15 fi btl havent bought it nether nor sure if to get 1 ohm or 2 ohm some body please help me.

any one know what i should set my saz-3000D for at 1.5 ohm's? or just set it for a 2 ohm load?

looking at a SAZ and SAE1000d, and need to clarify the differences. -thinner case on the SAE -smaller heatsink on the SAE What were the other differences? Any reason not to get the SAE?

Sundownz,.....have you ever thought about manufacturing some batteries like DC Sound Labs, Cactus Sounds etc.? I thought this would be a nice addition later on down the road for expansion to the company.
