Hello everyone. Anyways my stupid question is does jacob send tracking info when shipping an item? If so I suppose my amp hasn't shipped yet. Just curious though. I searched for my old email from when I ordered my 1500d but didn't see it. Also since I made a thread I suppose I'll do a mini build of installing the amp (125.2) on my components. I know everyone likes pics One more thing. It appears the led on my remote gain on my saz-1500 died, is that common or what? Not too concerned since it's just an led but I'd thought i would ask. which would be better suited to a 4th order BP install? mainly looking for input from sundownz since he owns both companies and can give their honest opinion. or if someone on here has used both (which I doubt since the SD-2 are still in pre-order). they can be had for about the same price and I was curious.. Want to know if i can run this amp on stock alt with stock batt up front and a d3100 in the rear big 3 and one run of 1/0 to rear, will be running it at 1ohm, on a pair of Xcon 12's. Thanks

i went into battle yesterday with 2x 1500d Sundown amps Strapped using 2x Batcap 800 near the amps 1x optima yellow up front. stock 130 amp alt... batterys at rest was 12.8v / with alt running 14.v when the amps hitt dropped to 13.6v gain was 1/2 --- bass boost 1/4 --- note was 52Hz ? down from last competitions 55Hz did a 151.5db 1st run 153.3db second run 153.4db last run ... now iv got to get my bigg batterys to quit leaking and i can really see what these bad boys will do with 14.97v now for a few pics more pics to come later... godda get to work now...

Ok so I got a set of SA 12's a few months back had originally had two e12's on my old amp but replaced the amp with a saz-1200d and my e12's was dual 2ohm so I ordered two of the new v2 dual 4ohm but find out a few days later they are out of stock.. so thinking I asked if I could just pay the difference for two new Sa12's I was told sure. . So now after having them and meeting a few other people's that have sa's looking at mine it almost looks like I was sent B stock . Hey everyone, new member here. I was reading up on sundown amps and they seem extremely fantastic for the money. Well anyways, I picked up a set of boston pro60 components. They are rated at 125w rms @ 3 ohm (yes, wtf is it 3 ohm?) Now the problem is that I want to get a nice clean amp to power those components. I dont want to spend outrageous amounts of money either since I've gone WAY over budget already (blew a ton of cash on a p800prs head unit) Now I was thinking about the 100.2 but my concern is that there is not enough power. Also for the ratings I've seen, it goes from 4 to 2 ohm. Should I just use the number in the middle of the two ratings to find out what 3 ohm…

I know the differences between Sundown 15" nightshade and the T3 TSS 15" ??? someone has tested them both? or knows me an answer? I am interested in the differences Structural and application power, etc. etc.

ok i have 2 nightshade V2 D1s and as far as i can remember my coils always sat at pretty much even 1 with a variance of .1 or so ... so in series they would be at 2 ohms per sub... then of course paralleled to 1 ohm at the amp ... well today i was out testing some new songs.. and my subs never get hot .. but today i heated them.. and when i was done playing i checked my temperature of the dust caps and they were both pretty hot.. 1 being hotter then the other... no problem the shades are beast they can take a little heat... so after that i went to the store, then on the way home i played my stereo again .. but it was not as loud... first thought shit.. i burned …

I have a question. I have been reading that Sundown has two positive terminals hooked up parallel and two negative terminals that are hooked up in parallel. Which has lead me to be confused. (2) JL W7 13.5 (1500Wrms) DVC 1.5 ohm If I wire the woofers as so: And hook just one lead (+) to one (+) terminal on the amp and hook one lead (-) to one (-) terminal on the amp I should come out with 1.5 ohms and approximately 2625Wrms right? (and of course more power since they are underated) And secondly can I just hook it up to one lead and come out with the full power range?

Some of you may know that I was going to get Sundown X 12s and then decided to get 2 10s because I couldn't fit 2 12s properly since they require a much bigger box and I'm kinda limited on room. I decided to have subs/port facing rear and have my battery and amps up closer to the front and build an amp rack there. Since we tore up the Nightshade proto I decided to have some fun showing off how strong the cone is. I cut the surround off so it would sit flat on the ground and had Justin (local sales rep) stand on the back of the voice coil: Just sits at around 350 pounds Neither the cone or the triple joint glue failed and he bounced up and down a bit while he was on there.

Dont really know what amp to buy im bearly gona start building and was wondering if i should go with the rockfosgate t2500 or sundown SAZ-3500d money not a problem , oh and im going to be running one 15 fi btl havent bought it nether nor sure if to get 1 ohm or 2 ohm some body please help me.

i am interested in a 3 way component system. reason being, one 2 way component system wouldnt be enough for me. i think a 3 way system would be more broader, with a woofer, a vocal mid range driver and a tweeter. i was looking at focals. model 165 A3 from there "Access" line. im not that particular to where i need to hear them before i buy. im sure i would be satisfied. im use to listening to factorys so any component sysem would probably do me good. anybody have suggestions or experience with a 3 way system? and also is the rated rms power totaled between all speakers on each crossover?
