hello all, i was just wondering what would be optimal box specs for 2-18" Ns v.1. they're both d1's. power to be ran on them is 2 saz 3ks strapped @ 1 ohm . it says on the website 4-5ft.^3 anywhere form 30-40hz. i was planning on 10 cu. after dipslacement. tuning to 35 hz. 16 in^2 per. cu. ft. gonna go with a center slot port let me know what you guys think. thank you!

So a good portion of the new raw parts arrived today -- nearly a full 40' HQ truckload of soft parts and frames. Plus, of course, additional E, SA, and Z v.3 style parts! Ok so in the manual it loooks like I have to connect both positive speaker out terminals to the + speaker and both negative to the speaker negative to run it bridge... is that correct? On my other amps it was always the positive to speaker A + and the negative to speaker B negative

So I have gotten my 2-SAZ2500(and they are strapped at 2 ohm) installed on my 2-NS v1 15inch subs. I know the gain isn't set 100% and i am using my gain knob. the gain on the amp is set 60% (that is the position of it) and the gain knob is set to about 3 clicks up... when my h/u is at 40/50 and a bass line plays for a good 30 seconds the bass cuts out and doesn't come back on until i reset my h/u? my first idea was it is going into protect to I looked back and nothing both light were blue...the only thing is maybe it flashed into protect and then back into normal really fast but then my question is when an amp goes into protect and when it comes out of protect shouldn't…

I bought a pair of 10in Neo Pro v2s in 8ohm from WoofersEtc on Amazon. When I received them the box says 8ohm, but the underside of the cone on both of them says 4ohm. I checked them with the multimeter and they both read around 3.8-4ohm. I'm pretty annoyed because I needed an 8ohm load on my amplifier. I'm most definitely not going to pay for shipping to send them back and have new ones sent because the shipping was 40$. I find it odd though that sundown managed to box up and supposedly test these speakers without noticing this. Any ideas on what happened here, and has anyone else had this happen?

Not really sure what I am asking here but here goes. I am running a TC3000 15"DVC sub. Each coil is 2ohms. I am running this parallel to a SAZ1500d for a 1 ohm load. With no music this specs out at about a perfect 1 ohm at the box terminals. Now whem I measure resistance while music is playing using my trusty calibrated Fluke 87 DMM, The lowest I am seeing resistance-wise is above 3 ohms. It never gets below and of course we are not going to discuss the high point. This is all done on a 60-20 htz sweep. So one of my questions is, does this mean that my sub is at most only getting 500 ish watts? I suppose what I need to do next is measure voltage and current. Was just doin…

Well currently I have no room in the back of my SUV. So the only option to mount the amp is on the box. My box is subs up port back. I have room on the top to mount the amp. I put a couple coins,keys, and other chit on top to see how bad it vibrates. It definetly vibrates, but will it be bad for the amp?

The camera didn't pick up the sound very well. Mic was placed on the dash on the passenger side. This was taken with an RTA but mine reads .1 lower than the local TL. So I believe this to be accurate. Peaked at 53Hz. Box is tuned at 40Hz. HzznT2SlpUQ

The power clamp reads in kW -- so 0.90, for example, is 900 watts. I kept playing it for 5 or 6 more iterations of the track after the video as I always measure T/S on at least one woofer per run to make sure everything is on track. I have a SAE-1000D pushing my front components. I had the amp set to HPF and dialed the filter in to around 125 Hz. I noticed recently that my midbass was non existent. Honestly it may have been that way for weeks and I may not have noticed. My truck is usually hauling around two kids, so no turning up the radio. From all of you who have run an SA-12. How will they run off of 500rms? I heard while they are rated at 600rms they need a little more than that to get moving well. But my car has a small alternator and I think 500rms is about what I can pull off safety. I just worry it wont be enough.

I have had my 3500D installed for a while now and its great however when I really crank it up full tilt on music after maybe 20 mins. it will sometimes go into protect. I had a 300 amp circuit breaker hooked up next to it up until today when I switched it out for a 300 amp ANL fuse. I had a problem with the circuit breaker tripping when turned to full tilt also, I think due to extreme vibrations. After replacing the circuit breaker I found it still went into protect once today. Hey guys, I am planning on installing 4 SA-8 in a chevy 72 truck using an incrim. audio 40.1 amp. i really need help on determining what would be the best box type and size to include port size. i am planning to use the whole space behind the seat and install the amps under the seat.....your help is very appreciated...also would like to know who can build me box for my project..
