Alright, my 2 amps came in. My kicker amps never had this many controls, so I'm going to need some help... How do I hookup the RCA's on the 1000D? Besides the gain, how should I set the other controls? Why are there 2 speaker terminals if it's a 1 channel amp? Which terminals do I use for a single dual 2 ohm sub? How do I hookup the RCA's on the 100.4? ...All the controls? The manuals say practically nothing. 1000D... 100.4... If you need a better picture of something please let me know.

Hello I recently purchased a saz2500 and 6 e8 v2 subs. The final project will be 12 e8's. I have a silverado crew cab and i made a box 2.4 cf @ 30 hz with a 4" inch round port. And all subs are in same box with no divisions. port measurement that i got from online calculator it told me that that was the measurement needed to tune to 30hz it was 14 long x 4 round pvc. Gain on 2500 is about 1/2 and settings on amp are all the 1/2 on bass booster and sub spnic filter set to: 20hz and lpf set to: 36hz My problem is this it sounds bad on most songs. I can hear subs slaping. And it looks like they maxin out on excursion. But they dont seam loud. And for some songs like ba…

I currently have installed in my 2006 QX56 an saz-1200d and a sa-15 d2 in a ported enclosure 3.45 ft cubed tuned to 35 hz. I have 0 gauge running to the back the big 3 all in 0 gauge. I have an xspower d5100r up front and a d680 on the way for the back, gets here today. My stock bose actually over plays my current set up so probably going to leave it like it is until I have to upgrade as everything ties into the stereo. I found a deal I could not pass up on a saz-1500d v2 and now have to attempt figuring out how to make the right upgrade to make my SUV pound. hey guys I tried posting in the fab section about my box, but figured I'd post here as well considering this is the board ive been reading for the past year. but anywho, last summer i came across a fellow on here from saskatoon,SK which happens to be where im from, said he would build me a box, but i just didnt have the dough at the time....just hopeing he's still here. I think he had an oilers logo as his avatar. but if not could someone pleeeeeease hook me up with a design/blueprint for my 2 12" r's off a 1500D @1ohm. I have two sundown audio sa-10s that i'm not to happy with. They're not getting very loud at all off a saz2500d and i think my box is to blame. I designed and built the enclosure myself, its suppose to be 2.5cubes after displacements tuned to 32hz but not sure how well that worked out. Im at the point where i'm considering selling the 10's and upgrading to 12's or a single 15 cause i'm frustrated with how they sound. I can try a new box but would hate to put the time and money into it if thats not the problem. Current box dimensions are 30x20x14 exterior and the port is 3x12.5x31. I was wanting to know on the amps, if you have to use both speaker channels or can you just use one channel. I'm running my 2 dual 4 ohm subs, wired to 1 ohm.

I'm running two Sundown amps, now discontinued, an SAX 50.4 for front coaxes and then lineout from that into an SAZ 1000D for the subwoofer. One of the front inputs on the 50.4 broke off, so for a temporary fix, I just ran the outputs from the stereo into the rear inputs. It was just the other day however, that I noticed I no longer had any bass coming from the sub. Now before I go tearing everything apart to see what's wrong, my first instinct was to assume that the line output of the 50.4 receives it's signal from the left and right front inputs. So if I'm using the rear inputs only, no signal to send out to the sub amp. Would this assumption be correct? I really …

Forgive me if this is dumb, The red protection led came on no my sax 100.4 this morning. I tested the speakers and the right front reads 4.3 ohms the left front reads 5.5 ohms and both bak read 4.2 ohms. I know a speaker short can cause the protection to come on. Is the 5.5 a short or would it read OL on the meter?

I am new to the forum, and I am very interested in the sundown amps. I have 3 RE SX D2 10 inch subs that I need power for. Which Sundown would work the best to power these subs? They take 1K rms each. Don't know if I should go with 1 1500d or 2 or....? These are not going to be used for competition, just daily driving. Thanks.

Well I got my saz1500 installed yesterday at a local shop. Today i decided that i was going to set the gains to 1200watts for my FI 15" BL. while using a DMM i am only able to get 26 volts out of my amp with volume 30/40. 0db tone CD DMM High to Low installed with my Stock stereo system Sub: Fi 15 BL Enclosure: 3.7ft^3 @ 32hz (ported) Amp: Saz-1500 Other: 1/0 gauge - 250amp Fuse - Stock Battery Any thoughts to whats wrong?

Hello Guys. I have a true s.o.s situation here. One of my beloved Nightshades 15's is coming apart. The screws that secure the basket to the motor are all loose and the motor is just about ready to fall off the basket. The sub is fine as far as the coil goes, but it still has to be reconed. Jacob is trying to get me another sub for the show on Saturday, but may not have one by then. I would like to know if any one has any 15" subs I can borrow just for the show. I prefer dual ones if anybody has any. If not, I could use one dual 2 to go with my other working dual 2. I am trying to qualify for the NSPL World Finals. Any one that can help me on this dilemma, I will buy them…

Subs are wired together at 2 ohms. I have 2 sundowns running, 1 amp for each. The subs are both seeing 2 ohms and putting out 1600 to each sub. Which output terminal do I put the speaker wire in. Left or right. It says for 1 sub its right, 2 its left, but the amps are not strapped. Help?!?!

Finally after almost a year in the making, here is a clip of my setup in action. The port is in the middle so be aware there is noise in the video from all the air these 10's push out. The camera doesn't really pick up all the excursion very well either. Hey jacob you plan on doing alot of NSPL ? I plan on getting another SD 3kd and thats going to put me in the no-wall 5001-10k class And i know thats the class you run in. I know i'm not going to be doing 54's and up. So i'm wondering what your clamp is or are you planning to run another class? I'm hopping your over 10k . you running 2 3500 or 2 4500? I i know you went back to a 17 volt system. Dj is hooking me up with his alt. Hes going to replace my AC compressor with one off his truck but its still a 12 volt system. but its going to be fun this year

Am looking at the T/S parameters for the SA-12 and noticed that the D2’s RE is listed as 4.33 Ohms when tested in series. From what I’m used to seeing, the RE values are typically less than the advertised impedance rating so the 4.33 feels a bit high for a sub with dual 2 ohm coils. The D4's RE value of 7.09 is right in line with what I'd expect. Could someone please help me understand what’s going on here with the D2? Thanks!
