Just to start things off, I haven't really done much research and I'm completely new to this forum, so I'm sure I'm repeating a previously stated question. Anyway, I'm new to the car audio game and I want to hit lower notes. I have a Sundown X12 on an Orion CB3200.1D. It's in a box that I can give you just about zero information on because I have no information on it. I had a local company just build me a decent box that would get the job done. I somewhat understand that bigger box = lower frequency, or something like that, but how can I hit lower notes without changing the box? Is there anything I can do with positioning of the box (I have a 2002 Ford Explorer, btw), …

I want to run my amps 2 saz 1500ds, one to each sub. But in order to keep them in phase I was wondering if I can set up the RCA's as if they are strapped. I have them set up regular from the HU to on amp then jumped to the next, but the sub off the 1st amp is moving way more than the other. I swapped the RCA's to see if it changed and sure enough its the same way. Any advice?

I used to be a rep back in 08, was told by Jacob if i even needed anything let him know. Recently(2 months ago) my place of employment was called a few times by a rep, John? wanting us to sign on with sundown audio. We went through all the procedures sent in all our paperwork and even got an email form a Debbie asking to call and she would finalize our order.... The number Debbie gave us is ALWAYS unavailable to recieve calls at this time. We've sent our paperwork in on 2 different occasions now and cannot get anywhere, John has called us back asking how we like our product....we reply with we havent got any. ive emailed sundownz, we've replied to the em…

So my next install will consist of 2-saz2000 and 2-15inch NS d2 and i was wondering how much AH i should have on my batteries to support my 2 saz2000 straped at 2ohm? i know i read somewhere that if it is at 1ohm just take the fuse size and divide it by 2 and there you go! so for 1 saz2000 at 1ohm i would need a mini of 100ah battery to support it! now i am wondering, i got a good deal on some nsb 90 (90ah) and i can't pass up the deal but they are only 90ah each and i want to get 2 of them. now will this 90ah (180ah total) be enough to support 4krms at 2ohm? thanks for your time Kenneth

Running a strapped pair of Sundown 1500d's at 2ohm daily, and .5 for comps. Kinetik 1400 up front, two 1800's in the back. Or, to the point, will an excessive amperage 200a be ok?

First of all, hello my name is Matt, and after a bit of reading and so much awesome feedback on sundown audio amps, I want to try them out in my next build. I ask a lot of questions, but seem to answer a lot as well. Anyway, my question is this... how much power do these amps pull from the electrical system of a vehicle when under ~full load (1 ohm for 3000d, and others bridged) Just trying to figure out exactly what kind of electrical upgrades will be necessary. Thanks in advance, Matt

Since we tore up the Nightshade proto I decided to have some fun showing off how strong the cone is. I cut the surround off so it would sit flat on the ground and had Justin (local sales rep) stand on the back of the voice coil: Just sits at around 350 pounds Neither the cone or the triple joint glue failed and he bounced up and down a bit while he was on there.

Hi, how would someone go about becoming sponsored by Sundown Audio? I have a 2002 Nissan Sentra XE and would love to run a Sundown SAZ-3000D with my Fi Audio 15" BTL. If you would like to see my setup please check out my page on CarStereo.com. http://www.carstereo.com/rwussow Any help with this matter would be awesome. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.
