so i have been asked a few times and have done my fair share of looking and asking.....what is the 1 ohm 2 ohm and 4 ohm (mainly 4 ohm) rating on the NS1? i cant and others cant seem to find these any where apart from its a beast. we compete USACI in my area and 3 of the guys in or close to the 160s really want to know this to see if they can be in the classes they want with this amp. I also have heard it will have 1 rating only 600 rms @ 4ohm which would be killer in USACI but whats the truth to this? Im tired of getting the run around or answer-its a beast when i ask. my customers are really curious too and keep asking if i have heard anything.....so please JACOB straig…

I have a prototype SAE-100.4 on the way with my 1200D shipment... here are a few pictures of it to share : It features a new double sided board design like the SAE-1200D v.2 does. Crossovers are very basic as it is an SAE model and it is also made in China alongside the SAE-1200D. This will NOT replace any SAX multi-channel models... it is simply a part of our lower cost SAE line. There is NO ETA YET... price is also pending.

Okay i have been running a 1500d on 4 10" kickers while i wait for my sa-10's . I had another 1500d in closet, so i decided to go ahead and throw it in,and get it strapped, and ready for the sa's . Heres the deal i had the gain set all the way down so as to not destroy the kickers. Added the second 1500d, and now i can set gain to almost 3/4 and its still not as load as with just 1 amp the single was running 1ohm and the 2 was at 1ohm strapped so .5 each. voltage doesnt drop thats not a issue i just cant figure out why its louder with only 1 amp running if 1 was bad it wouldnt work at all strapped? or could that be a problem?

First, I am planning to order a Sundown 100.4 tomorrow or tuesday, from SSA depending on how fast my winning bidders pay up on ebay. What I need to know is, Can a set of JL audio XR653 and a set of JL audio XR650csi ( the 3-way set and the 2-way set) be okay on this amp. JL says the RMS on these sets is around 75 watts , and I hear the sundowns are underrated. Will I benefit from this amp, will it need to be ran at a minimal power to preserve these speaker sets? My new 15" Nightshades were delivered yesterday and I am quite happy with them already! Thanks a bunch Jacob! Last night as I was just listening to the radio as I was driving along and I began to notice an odd smell in my car. My volume was low, and I have not played my music loud in a while. Initially I thought maybe something was just coming through the vents outside. However, when I got home and popped my trunk I was greeted with a haze of white smoke!!!!! Upon further investigation this morning I checked the impedance of all my speakers and they are what they should be and my voltages are correct at the amp. My girlfriend eventually wants a system in her vehicle. Nothing really loud or anything, just a bit more bass then stock and inexpensive. I showed her the E8 and she thought a small sub was "cute" and wants one. The small box would leave space in the trunk as well. I plan on building the box for her, but I must be retarded. The recommendations for the box are 0.60 ft^3 tuned to 30 Hz ported. I've been messing around with the calculator on RE's site and can't figure out how I would tune it that low in such a small box. The only way I was able to do it is if I make the port only 0.5" wide, which sounds way too skinny for me. Any help?

Coming back from a snowboarding trip almost home and system shut down. Fuses are fine but amp is not turning on. Light is not turning on the amp.

yesterday i was making a point............. i pulled out the old 2x15" box and barrowed my old T4 15" subs from my teammate first run 152.1db second run 153.1db third run 153.4db on 12v with the Missing link Audio device kicking it up too 15.2v was hoping Rexzilla would show up and see the Smerk on my face !!! he doe's 152db with a wall & 6 subs he made the comment that he had beat me !!! i think not if the best he can do is a 152db with 6 subs, he needs to go back to Usuck and play big shot there !!! wait till i get a second Sundown 3000d Tax return bebe edit : oh snapp i forgot to mention that i picked up 6- 8v batterys yesterday 16v here i come

well i found a new toy that loves the high notes.in our testing it was able to do a 155 outlaw @ 71hrtz with 1 NS12 and a 40.1 on 12 volt.this new vehicle is stock from head to toe. no damp,no duct tape nothing yet.since i was using a freind of mine equipment.I need to start getting my own again so I want to go with a lighter sub like 2 x sa10's and a [email protected] to start out with since i cant afford what I need. will the sa 10's hold up to some 71 hrt burps until i can afford some bigger subs and more power? this new vehicle is crazy loud to start out we tested for about 2 hours before we got to a 154.7 with a box that was just sitting in the garage. I bassraced. Got a horrible score... 151.5. Kinda crappy start, almost 120 degrees at the time, drained batteries, warm subs, warm amps.... The amps were screwed basically. I didnt play it once the entire drive there, for like 30 minutes, or at all that day even. After that ride with the amps just in the heat, they were burning up. People who I see bassrace a 153.5 no problem at all had the hardest time you could imagine break 150 in bassrace. My amps are also set to be safe. Gains less then 1/8 up, with SSF set way up to like 40-45hz. Its set to not blow anything up, but Im guessing that when I tune and tweak them Ill gain a good bit. It wasnt a good day for anyone. The last system I put together was about 18 years ago so the current crop of equipment is very new to me. I think I've made up my mind on 2 FI Q15's in sealed enclosures w/2 cuft each. Now I need to make up my mind on amplifiers. I've been reading a lot of good things about the Sundown amplifiers and I would like to get some honest opinions. This system will be in my daily driver. kinda gettin out of car audio at the moment, will be back as soon as the big boy 15's are out to work on a diff setup.... the amps have been used playing time about a 1.5-2 month span with a small scratch and a inset screw missing on one of the amps, which can be had very easily, two ns 12s.... one works perfectly and one is in need of a recone. also 2 9a31 dekas that were barely used and never mistreated.... will be putting up pics very soon. both amps purchased from rob eldridge and subs straight from jacob himself. will be posting this info in the for sale section tonight w/ pricing of course.... will definantly be using sundown again.... awesome products!
