Once all of this is complete we can start production and offer a pre-sale.

im considering 2 SA-12's sealed 1.5 each off a sae-1200d. This sub work well sealed? Im curious about xmax specs on them.They seem VERY well built which is one of the reasons they are a top choice atm

I see there here in the SSA store but say pre order on them still. How would i go about getting my hands on 2 of these subs?

I would like to use a AC voltmeter to set the gain on my SAZ-3500D. Can I get the voltage just before clipping at a 1 ohm load?

I have had my 3500D installed for a while now and its great however when I really crank it up full tilt on music after maybe 20 mins. it will sometimes go into protect. I had a 300 amp circuit breaker hooked up next to it up until today when I switched it out for a 300 amp ANL fuse. I had a problem with the circuit breaker tripping when turned to full tilt also, I think due to extreme vibrations. After replacing the circuit breaker I found it still went into protect once today. I have 2 165ah batteries next to the 3500D and a optima yellowtop under the hood, but I'm still running the factory alternator which I plan to upgrade soon. I have a digital gauge mounted on the da…

i have two 3000d every time i try and turn up vol one of the two go into protect its not always the same one . they are running 1ohm each i am also running 3 lifeline batteries 1 d3100 and 1 stinger 1700 225amp alt voltage drops to around 12.6 any help would be great i do compete would be nice to be able to keep it playin for good numbers

I checked all wires, rca's, all speakers work on all 3 other channels but channel 4 just has his sound in it. Changed rca's, same thing, how much to send in and get it fixed? thanks

Using Z15 cone / dust cap... 8-layer FW Dual-2 Coil @ 50mm WW... two hard nomex spiders w/ double leads. I am going to measure specs once the dust cap glue dries. Not for sale - just posting pics Made it for a customer.

I was just wondering what store actually has some of these in stock.....Looking to upgrade from my Type-Rs and I believe this would be a good upgrade...What are you guys opinion???

We are working on 12x 15s for a customer build... few teaser shots -- more as it progresses. These are being customized with chrome 4-spoke frames. Standard build otherwise with 2 spiders, single leads, and standard cone -- most efficient setup for this application.

I know this is backwards of what most people ask, but I cannot find it documented anywhere. I have limited space, and I'm trying to upgrade my system using the equipment I have sitting in my garage. So, that would have me using 2 channels of my 100.4C bridged - running a single SD-1 10" sub...which is an 8 ohm sub. So, what I'm wondering is how much wattage I will be able to get out this amp at 8 ohms bridged? My guess, based on the published specs, would be in the neighborhood of 200 watts. Just looking for a confirmation of this. Thanks!

What does the saz-3000 bass knob control and how does it control it? Is it gain or boost? does it override the amps settings or does it max out at them? BTW great amp, My car on score is only .6 db louder compared to the car off!!! I was amazed by this, helps alot for db drag

Im Rebuilding my s10 dis yr with sum new goodies i had the sundown z15s on 1 ab 500.1 and now im stepping up to 2 Z15v2s and 2 ab 500.1s and adding more 1/0 and 4 big C& D Batts! The old setup with the Z15s did a 152.4 at 38hz at the headrest meca style on 160amps of fusing for s3! But this yr im movin up classes since i got more power!!! seeing as i finally decided i want to wall off my truck, i need a few opinions and specs. i was wanting to know if a 14^3 box would be to big for 2 18s. i want the box tuned super low, and i've already done some calculations, and with a 14^3 box and the 4" ports i already have made. it would tune the box to 22-23hz. so the other thing i need to know, is what do one of these subs require for port area. with 6 4" ports, i have around 75^2 inches of port area. would this be enough? or do i need to go with bigger ports?

So I bought a SAZ-3000d from db-r last december. I finally got to hook it up today! It turned on, sub wouldn't move, then the amp would go into protect. The btl was wired at one Ohm. So after reading the manual, I disconnected the speaker wire and the amp did fine, didn't go into protect mode. So I re-did the wiring on the sub but before dragging it out to the car, I decided to test the amp. Turned it on and the Blue power light came on and about one second later it switched over to protect. Needless to say I was astonished. I occasionally build custom drivers on non-Sundown platforms by request -- few pictures to share These use the Z v.2 light weight 15" cone, Z v.2 production voice coils, Z v.2 production "2 spider" pack, an additional re-enforcement ring at the triple joint, stock T3 TSS frame and motor. With this cone the factory trim ring can also be used unlike the last TSS I built with the wide roll surround. * Top triple joint * Factory trim ring in place * Triple joint ring between cone and spiders. Hey guys I have some fast questions to ask!! 1. Lets say I used 8 gauge from amp to sub box terminals, then 2-12gauge runs from terminals to subs(yes 2 subs)? What I want to do is run 8awg from the amp to the terminals then from there 2 runs of 12gauge, 1 run per sub. I think this will work b/c 8awg can support 75amps and 12gauge can support 40amps (since 2 runs40x2=80amps) since there is 2 runs which will be hooked in parellel and in parellel we know current divides up I should be okay? but wait in parrel each run will see the same voltage of... o well input is needed here lol! the currnet which the 8gauge will see will be a peak of 50amps. I ask b/c i have a ton of 1…

I know this has probably been answered before, but the search bar is pretty much useless on this forum. So if I can keep my electrical system from dropping below 13.0-13.5 volts, how will the saz take the .5 ohm load?

Okay so im going to buy a whole new system in a year or so but for the mean while i have 2 kicker CVT, a boss amplifier 1600 watts peak, a optima yellow top battery this is all in a 4 door F-150 2007 under the back seat except the batter, and i fell like its not loud, is there any way to improve, it i have the factory radio i dont know if that plays a factor i dont think so but if any body knows how to improve it please help me maby theres a way to port the box or something

Hey guys, I thought I'd start this topic before I istall everything to learn and get some info on how to do it. I bought 50.4 to run Image Dynamics CTX65CS in front and CTX6 in back. Then I grabbed 125.2 to run two Image Dynamics ID8''D4 v.3, both at 2ohm run on separate channel and Trevor at PTS is building ported box for them now. All of this will go to Pioneer 880PRS head unit. I know how to connect everything, I will pretty much get to the part where everytihing is connected and I start to wonder what the knobs on the amp do There's just so many of them any info would be nice....

I'm going to build a ported box for two and need to know if the ported box volume spec (0.6 cuft tuned to 30Hz) is net or gross.

I have gotten my nightshade from fedex yesterday. Had it reconed from a twelve. I would like to say it looks excellent and you can even smell the new sub smell. Haha thank you jacob for your help. Jordan Hughes
