Alright so i get my sae 1200D and 12" fi bl installed saturday. drive around for 30 minutes and love it. stop to eat for about 45 minutes. when i come back and try to turn it on the sub makes a weird noise and the amp goes into protection mode. restart the car a couple of times and it does the same thing. take it to the place i got it installed and they rewire it and it still goes into protection and they hook up an alpine amp and the alpine works fine. so do i send it back? or is there some other way of fixing it?

I think he had an oilers logo as his avatar. but if not could someone pleeeeeease hook me up with a design/blueprint for my 2 12" r's off a 1500D @1ohm. Ive searched the web, but didnt really come up with anything I trust.

Running off one SAZ-1500 in 6 ft^3. Two sets of Peerless 6.5s and selenium horns handle the mids and highs. Sounds great and still have some storage room.

Now that everyone knows what they can do... I am thinking about opening a special on them to get more reviews on these bad boys. The special would be equal to the pre-sale @ $300 each. Who wants some ?

Hey Guys....I recently installed a SAZ 1500D and I am now experiencing engine noise (a buzzing type of sound). I can unplug the RCA's from the SAZ and it goes away. I was told that I should ground both of my amps in the same place and that might help...Well, I've done that and it hasn't helped. Prior to installing the SAZ I had a JL Audio 500/1 and it didn't have any noise. I've even ugraded my BIG 3 and also ran some 1/0 gauge since installing the amp thinking that may help....But the noise still remains. The RCA's are new and I cannot imagine why they would make any noise since they didn't with my previous amp....Is there a possibility that the SAZ has something wr…

Hi guys, I recently bought a NS-1 for my installer. The amp made a world trip before coming to my country (thanks USPS) but we got it right. From the beginning there was a noise like something was loose in the amp. We thought it was due to the fact that the amp is very long and there were not enough screws to hold the panel. One day he smelled something burning, but could not define where it was coming from : from the amp, from the car next to him that was like a smoke machine in the traffic jam,...? Amp never shut off to these days. Today he installed his 2nd btl , re-installed the amp, and had to open it because he realized the fan in the amp was running as soon as…

First off, have to give a big thanks to Jacob for allowing me to use the Sundown logo, and for supplying me with some hi-res jpegs. Finally got some free time in one of our CNC's and got this in. All i have left to do is paint the lettering to make it stand out more. Something wrong with the way the pic came out on this one on the "audio" shape Now to do the other one.

For sale. One SAZ-1500D, brand new in box. This unit has a blemish on the finish, but is otherwise brand new. I inspect each one before it goes out and caught this one: $475 shipped in the continental USA. This amplifier carries full warranty coverage.

This is a direct replacement for our old SAX-100.4 model as it is a Class-A/B model amplifier. It is much more compact than the old SAX-100.4 but not nearly as compact as the SAX-125.4 model. We have had a great deal of demand for this unit as it is significantly less expensive than the SAX-125.4 model and is perfect for those that don't need such a small foot-print or a 19v stable amp (these are stable up to ~16v). They are available NOW for $400 from any authorized dealer in the USA. -----

A few Sundown guys at the show today... Big Al with 2x SAZ-3000Ds @ 0.7 DCR each un-strapped running on only two Kinetik 2400s + starter battery... powering 2x Kicker Solo-X 18" subs in a daily-tuned listenable, beautifully done, fiberglass box. All in his Cadillac Escalade. Honestly don't remember his class designation... believe it was truck/suv 25 - 48. 150.9 dB today! He has 2 more SAZ-3000Ds and more batteries going in soon. Each 3000D will be seeing 1/2 the impedance that the two from today were seeing. --- My brother, Adam Fuller, running 2x DD 9510s D4s @ 1 ohm strapped (1/2 ohm per amp) on 2x 1500Ds on stock electrical + a DEKA Intimidator in the no-wall 0-24 cla…

I received a brand new Sundown saz-1500 this week and I just got around to installing it. All I can say is wow, it pushes the heck out of my RE SE 10 d4. It's funny, this is only giving the sub about 800 watts since it's running at 2 ohms. In addition, I have the gains on the amp turned way down, as I have not had a chance to set the gians properly yet. I think it's going to be time to get a sub that, first of all, can get to a one ohm load, and secondly, take the 1500 watts. That amp is a beast. I'm excited lol. I also received a Sundown sax-100 today for my highs, but I have not had a chance to install it yet. All Sundown as far as my power goes. I am converte…

I currently own a 2000 Pontiac grand am gt. the dimensions i could easily fit in my trunk would be 18x12x38. Could you help me design a box for a SA-15 within those dimensions. Need design specifics and/or cut sheets. I was thinking about going with two tens or two twelves but i don't think the space will allow me to do it, any ideas?? But definitely going with SA subs no matter what. Don't have amp yet but will match amp to subs regardless. Please Help

More power this time... current clamp shows ONE coil. We hooked each coil up to a seperate 120v circuit for a total power of ~8800 watts at the start, dropped to the 7000s then stayed around that point until failure at 30 seconds. Prior to this video we had JUST finished plugging it in to one socket in series for around 2000 watts for FIVE MINUTES - so it was already hot! The Monster lives up to it's name. If you are wondering about the frame... Brandon had two in his wall without motor supports and it broke off some of the screws allowing the bottom to swing out and break off the top of the frame. So... motor supports are a must.
