does anyone know about how many watts a 300d will put off at a .5 ohm. with high output alternator 3 good batts. and around 14.2 volts?thanks for the help guys.hope to get some good numbers!!!

This is my first post in this wonderful forum so please pardon my ignorance. I just got two saz 2500d's and wow what an awesome piece of design. I wanna run these two amps strapped together and Ive seen the diagram for how to hook them up. My only trouble is does one have to gain match the amps? I know that the one amp is the slave to the other and uses the settings from the master amp but no where it says about the gain. Thanks in advance and all b happy to post the outcome of these two bad boys strapped together.

I'm planning to run 2 sax-100.2s and 2 saz-3000s strapped at 2 ohms. I have a 200 amp excessive amp alt and i'm attempting to make a bracket so i can also use my stock alt but i'm not sure if i'll succeed in that. Is it recommended to run 2 alts with 2 saz-3000s or would my one 200 amp alt be fine? I'd like to limit the amount of batteries to 1 under the hood and 3 in the back. I'm a little tight on space. Is this alright or would i have to use more? My last system consisted of 2 saz-1500s. Using my 200 amp alt, 1 battery under the hood, and 1 in the back I didn't seem to have any problems at all. Just wondering how much i need to upgrade my electrical to handle 2 saz-300…

Alright, my 2 amps came in. My kicker amps never had this many controls, so I'm going to need some help... How do I hookup the RCA's on the 1000D? Besides the gain, how should I set the other controls? Why are there 2 speaker terminals if it's a 1 channel amp? Which terminals do I use for a single dual 2 ohm sub? How do I hookup the RCA's on the 100.4? ...All the controls? The manuals say practically nothing. 1000D... 100.4... If you need a better picture of something please let me know.

I had just purchased 2 sa-10's yesturday and used the guest purchase to do so, but now i dont know how to check the status of my order and i havnt gotten anything in my email, can someone help me out on how to check the status.

Jacob, Are there any plans on making a 6 channel amp? 50X4 125X2 or preferably 100X4 250X2? If so I can hold out. I really want a matching Sundown 6 channel. My other options are Mcintosh or Tru at least as far as I can find. And I hate to part with the green that those brands would cost me for no other benefit than the "Look what I got!" BS.

Hi everyone, I know I've read something about it but I don't remember where, and I can't find it ! One of my friend is running a 15" D1 xcon sub with 2 Sundown saz 1000 d strapped at 2 Ohms. He uses the gain remote. Now he's planning a new build with 2 subs and 4 saz 1000. 2 amps per sub. He will have to use 2 remote, and only wants one. What can he do , what to buy to have only one remote to control the gain on the 2 (2)amplifiers ? Thanks for your help

Would a Nightshade recone fit in a SSA Icon motor?

As of today i finally have 99% of my wiring finished for my second externally regulated alt. Im going to get a volt meter of some sort so i know exactly where I'm sitting at voltage wise at all times (just in case the knob is bumped or any other unforseen issues) So for the next week or so im going to have a very small fuse on both the alt wire and amp wires just to be extra safe. I was just wondering how many of you guys are running the 3000d at 16v (18.8)? and if there's any thing i should know? I'm trying to be as cautious as possible to make sure nothing goes wrong but i thought id ask for advice from the experts

System: (3) SA-8 D4's Phoenix Gold ZX600.2 titanium. (1200W @ 2 Ohm bridged) Looking for help designing the box for these bad boys. I've don't see any information on the Sundown site regarding recommended volumes / port sizes / tuning, so here I am... I've played with WinISD some, and basically decided to tune it somewhere around 33 Hz. For those of you that have these bad boys, what tuning do you run, what volume of box, and how many subs? For my build I'm thinking of going with .6 cubes per sub (chambered box) with a slotted port that is 5" x .75" x 16" (slot port inside dimensions). hi everyone need some advice on a custom built box for a single 12 inch sa-12 2 ohm sub. I'll be building the box with 3/4 mdf wood and the space i have to work with is 41 inches from left to right and 17 inches in depth. the car the sub Will be going in is a 2001 kia sportage ex small size suv and the amp i will be useing is a pyle plad3300d which puts out 1200 to 1300 watts at one ohm. now i never built me a custom vented box before but i have built a few sealed boxes in the past so my skill level for building a vented box is low. the music i listen to is rap and hip hop and my goal is to more daily driving and a little competition so i want the most spl i can get but w…

Every time i start up my car, the sundown starts up but then goes straight into protect. I have the SAZ3K. I used an additional head unit to make sure it wasn't the signal. Without the RCAs plugged in and without the speaker wires plugged in it still did this. Here is a picture of the only thing i could find WRONG internally in the amp. Its also really loose when you go to touch it. Thanks for the help, Curt

so can i just change the frame on a sa-8 v1 to a as-8 v1.5 NOT sa-8V2??????

tried my damnest to get a 140 out of it, just so I could talk smack, but I'm impressed with the number, since the box is tuned to 34hz and the subs are seeing around 350 watts or so. Forgot to mention, these are the 10's also.
