by looking at your products alone you know your shit about subs. i have a pair of 10's i had built for me a couple years back 60lbs each so there is some serious magnets on them. the bl/re in series is only a 92 im guessing this is due to the coil. if i had it rebuilt to something with twice the motor strength what could i see in output diffrence? current coils are round copper 8layer not sure on what the rest of the specs are. i know they could use a spider spacer for more travel they will hit the top plate before the coil can bottom. is it possible the charge is weak on the magnets?

Congrats go to Luz Carter, Team Sundown Audio/Image Dynamics in the MECA SOUND QUALITY Stock class format. She went undefeated this year and pulled off State finals by a close 1/2 point. Sundown isn't just for the knuckle draggers anymore. lol

If I need bigger I have room. Car is a 02 caddy deville. blow through type design or sealed off from the trunk is the way I wanna go. Just waiting on the new 100.4 and I'm done

The SAZ-3500D is the successor to our extremely popular SAZ-3000D model. It is not only more powerful but even more reliable than the SAZ-3000D based on years of research in the SPL lanes and in the hands of regular customers. You will not find a better 3500-watt Class-D amplifier anywhere! Sundown Audio only recommends this amplifier for experienced users with an upgraded alternator and additional batteries due to the enormous power output potential. Hello Jacob, I have 4 XS Power D3100 as secondary batts and a Yellow Top under the hood and a DC Power 320 amp alternator (strongest the company makes for me) and both of my SAZ-3500Ds are going into protect when I compete.…

Hello Guys..I want to be convinced that I need to Purchase one or your Saz-1500d amps...I currently am running the Us amps Xt4000d and my Fi BL 15" Seems like It still needs more Power...It is fully loaded in a 4cuft@30Hz enclosure. My current amp just doesn't put out what I think the Fi speaker can handle...I really like your Amplifiers and would like to be one of the team...Could one of you who acutally own or make the amp give me some input about how it performs at 1 ohm....I really want one so my Us Amps amp went on sale today...Thanks guys..

Ok, so I did an install for a friend in his 2009 Honda civic with a Sundown NS V.2 prototype and a sundown SAE-1200D and we have encountered sort of a serious problem. It seems as if there is some sort of a current draw coming from the amp when it is turned off because if he leaves his car off for more than 24 hours the battery is so drained that it can not start the car... The amp is definitely the problem because whenever I take the fuses out of the amp the car works perfect and there is no current draw. The amp also is completely off whenever the car is off (I checked) and is connected to the ACC fuse for the remote turn on since the car has a stock stereo system. I am…

Does the saz1500 have a signal output, so you could run rcas from it to another amp? I'm thinking about getting a smaller amp for mids and highs and wanted to know if I would have to run another set of rcas from deck? Or if the saz could output it. Thanks

so i was tunin my amp for my 12" Q. and i wanted to use as little bass boost as normal on the amp. but even if i maxed out the gains, set my LPF around 80hz, and turned down my bass boost to 0db. i was only puttin out about 17 volts (if i remember correctly i did it early this morning). i know it was below 20.. and i needed about 31.6 volts. is this normal? i used 50hz tone when i had no BB, and when i used it, i used a 60hz tone. the only way i was able to reach my needed volts, was when my gains are just over 3/4 set, and my bass boost is about the same spot, 15-17db. but is that about normal? would it be better if i maxed out the bass boost and compensated with my gai…

Went to AudioThunder in Niagra Falls new york with some small changes to the vehicle. Terrible drive up due to conditions outside but well worth it! Eclipse is doing 154's a lot more often now that I strengthened somethings in the rear hatch and removed the spoiler that was leaking some air. 2nd in the preliminary (saturday) 1st place in the finals for bass race (sunday) Should get a 55+ out of it charged. Will try and get a vid of that up soon. Here are some videos I took from the show. Amps are still running excellent at .5 ohms Jake! I have two sundown audio sa-10s that i'm not to happy with. They're not getting very loud at all off a saz2500d and i think my box is to blame. I designed and built the enclosure myself, its suppose to be 2.5cubes after displacements tuned to 32hz but not sure how well that worked out. Im at the point where i'm considering selling the 10's and upgrading to 12's or a single 15 cause i'm frustrated with how they sound. I can try a new box but would hate to put the time and money into it if thats not the problem. Current box dimensions are 30x20x14 exterior and the port is 3x12.5x31. I would greatly appreciate some help on my situation, thanks in advance. My old system was a…
