is it safe to buy a refurbished amp? im planing on buying a bnew sae1200d but i saw that dbr is selling refurbished amps. and iam thinking on buying a refurbished saz1500d. whats the down side in buying refurbished amps? aside from its already used. any suggestions?? thanks

i was just wondering what the typical output on a 100.4 will do at 2 ohm. i have 2 sets of re xxx comps and i wanted to know if this amp will supply enough power to them

Ya ya, my wiring is kinda messy right now but it might not be permant. and yes i know i shouldnt brag about "novice" trophy but it was my first time, and i still hit a 144.3 off two type R's with no tuning jus playin with it. on my btl i hit a 147.30. The guy that got first hit a 147.33 with 4 Type R 15''s. FYI GORRILA DUCK TAPE FTW!!!! at the show still filling the aero leaks on the aero's SAZ 3K btl 18 fully loaded 4.5 cu ft tuned to ....???? didnt have time to correct the aeros.

i can get either for the same price.whats the difference other than 200wts. is there an advantage of one over the other? Im just lookin for some help, both units make the power i need at the right load , so which should i choose

Is the amp available in the store? It's perfect for my application but it has no image and the description saying that it's essentially in a prototype stage.

Hey Folks this is my small commuter car build. I picked up a 09 corolla coupe of months ago did some small mods. I started off my system with a eclipse 7200 headunit, mb quart qsd216 in the front, zapco iforce 6x9 in the rear, jl audio 300/4, n 500/1v2. With some fosgate p1s that i had from my previous car. Then I wanted something that was louder after askin jacob a million questions i got a saz-1500d and nightshade 15. I also bought a powermasters 2400, big 3, ran 0 ga to the amp, n kept 4ga for the mids amp . hallo im using alpine 9855R with sundown saz1500 on dual genesis audiophile 30.01. my problem is when i connect rca to the regular INPUT connection even on full gain the subs almost not move but when i connect rca to the BR connection the subs working great but i dont have control on gain etc.... what can be the problem?

What is the total outer diameter of a zv4 12" minus the gasket? I have 13" to mount them in. And no, Im Not talking bout the cut out for the hole to mount them in the box. Lol

I was wanting to know when the 2000d model amp is coming out. Im piecing my system now and am goin to be buying an amp in about 1 month. Was wanting to get SAZ-2000D amp, but if its now out in time I will get the AQ2200D

How does it sound for box size. 6th order bandpass rear chamber of 6 cubic feet @ 36hz and front chamber of 22 cubic feet @ 63hz. Wanting to get things started for a build next year. This is a spl only build.

My friend got a sa-8v2 in a ported box and I was amazed how it sounded. So I decided togo the SA-12 route rather then my DC L4 18. Just got em in today. Can't wait to get started on the box Sunday.

got a stock alt still, it's a 92' camry wagon (dont know what the amps are with that) and (2) 3500d's and (2) 3100's....should I get a volt meter just to be on the safe side....Im not sure how long I should play the system with just a stock alt?

i only have one sub which is RE SE d4... according to the picture i will have to connect both the positive to the box. and only one to the negative. so from box... it's one + and one -... and from amp it's + - - + So i would connect all both + on the amp and then connect it to the sub. and only one to the negative?

Just got done doing a little testing. Setup is: SAZ-1500 at 1 ohm 15" SI Mag Transmission Line tuned to 32hz Kinetik HC600 (I know, I know, it's all I had to slap in there right now) All done in the trunk of my Stratus, legal, on the dash sealed up. 144.8 @ 43hz
