decided to try an sa15 out powered by channels 3 and 4 bridged on my 200.4. 900-1000 watts roughly. this box is 3.8 cube after displacement with a single 6" aero 17.5" long tuned to 31ish hz lol. 17x31x17 is the dimensions. not shooting for huge numbers just wanted to throw something in my gas saver daily driver. 1991 civic hatch behind the seats. so ill still have full function of my rear seats. eventually ill buy a round over bit to round over all the edges but right now this is where its at. not sure how long ill be using the box cuz im sure someone local will decide to buy it just like every other box i seem to build haha.

i have a sa-8 d2 and i was wondering what box would be better. I am going to buy a pre-fab box and don't know which one would be better have a amp running 300 watts rms. just wanting the best option, which one should i get and why? i know it likes a ported box from .6 to 1.25 one is .80 net box so .70 after displacement. this one mentions a 40" port is that good or right for this woofer? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230527532374&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and the other is 1.10 net and 1.00 after displacement http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350398128241&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

  4. I am using a SAX100.4 to power my ID OEM mids and Focal tweeters. Channels 1 and 2 go to the tweets and 3 and 4 go to the mids. They are being crossed over in my Alpine CDA-9887. SO my question is what signal will be present at the 100.4's RCA outputs? Does the amp sum all the signals together so I will have a full range output there or does it just use the inputs from channels 1 and 2 or something? I want to run some rear fill in my Acura MDX and I was thinkin about picking up a SAX100.2 but I dont know how to get a full range signal to it because my deck only has 3 preouts. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

Ok I have 1 3k and a 100.4. I have a yellow top under the hood and 2 Kinetik 2400 in the rear. The problem I have is there is no one that makes a alt for my car. I do plan on adding a second alt where the ac compressor but that going to happen at tax time. What I need to know is how many more 2400's I would need to run a 4500. Right now my voltage doesn't drop below 12.5 at full tilt on music. My stock alt is a 90 amp and does 14.5 cold and 13.9 hot. My batterys rest at 13.3. I hope this all the info needed to come up with a answer.

The car is a 2008 Scion xB, the sub is in the rear cargo area in a 2cu ft ported enclosure tuned to 29hz (I will be updating my build thread with that info as well) Sub is on the drivers side facing the hatch port is on the passenger side facing the wall which was recommended to me and works VERY well. I just want to say thank you to Jacob at Sundown with all the help he has given me. I purchased an SAE-1200v1 from a person on another forum, and as soon as I hooked the amp up it went into protection. I checked my wiring, and even hooked up another amp, which worked fine, but the Sundown just kept going into protection. This was on a Sunday, and Monday morning I sent Jacob an email asking if there was a remedy to my problem. Of course, I had no documentation for the amp in question, so Jacob offered to send me either a new 1200v2 or a 1500, both for a very nominal upgrade fee. I jumped on the chance to get the 1500. (It is probably way more power than my single 10 …

i wonder if the SAZ-1000D would be a good amp for midbass at the moment i'm running a 100.4 for mids/highs and the 125.2 for the midbass now i wanna get 8 (4 in each door) SPL Dynamics HF6.1 for midbass, but i don't think the 125.2 will have enough power for 4 per channel so i thought about going with 2 SAZ-1000D anyone tried them for mids yet?
