I've mainly been updating on Facebook but we have been heavily involved in moving our location about 20 minutes down the road to Claremont, NC to a much larger facility for most of July. We now have functional shipping, testing, and build room areas at the new location plus a few office guys have transferred over as well. It has been a bit of a long process but it's coming along nicely. I have not yet moved my office or Debbie and the accounting / invoicing systems so it's been a bit inefficient as the data has to be transferred to the new location to ship (aside from Yard Sale) -- but the goal is to move all this by Monday and have everyone working in the same location…

I have a 98 s10 ext and can't decide whether to go with 1 icon or 2 SSA's I want deep and loud bass. Any suggestions? And any good Amps under 350$ that you can think of? Thanks

hi i was looking at buying me a single 10 inch sundown audio sa sub and was wondering would the jl audio 300/2 amp be enough to power the sub without under powering it ?

I have a box on the way from Dave The Box Guy with interchangeable ports and what not and would like to use it for a long time without modifying the sub cut out holes. It is going to be for 2 SA-12s that I have laying around. I was just curoius to see what the cut out diameters were for the Zv4 or X series because I will eventually upgrade to one of them. Thanks everyone. Sorry if the answer is somewhere else, I have looked and looked but haven't found it yet.

well i have a long story here... i sold my sa8v2s and shipped them to the buyer.. well he got them and tested them with a dmm and one subs coils read 1.6ohm each (d2 sub) and one sub read 3.0ohm each coil (d4 sub) i was supposed to get 2 d4 subs. so now, i have to give dude his money back, pay for return shipping ($110 both ways now) and as far as im concerned, both 8s are shot... i bought them brand new off ssa 2 months ago. some may ask.. why didnt you check em with a dmm when u got em? well the way i see it, i shouldnt have to being i bought them brand new..... also, when i took them out of my truck, my amp was in protection.. hopefully its not shot but it aint looking…

has anyone ever heard just one of these subs in a 350z. i'm thinking about running one off a jl audio 300/2 amp at 2 ohm in my 08 350z.

Little project I've been working on for a while... first prototype rolled out yesterday. It about 4 1/8" deep -- power handling and other specs will be announced once we finalize the coil (several variations will be tested). Every part was custom tooled; frame, diaphragm, dust cap, spider, surround, etc, etc. It also features an aluminum pole cap to lower distortion even further. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available =)

Production on the X series is wrapping up; photos below! Production T/S spec will be coming in soon as well -- likely before the end of this week. Z v.4 production should complete fairly soon as well; we had some delay on the voice coils as the flat wire is imported from Denmark for those coils. I used to be a rep back in 08, was told by Jacob if i even needed anything let him know. Recently(2 months ago) my place of employment was called a few times by a rep, John? wanting us to sign on with sundown audio. We went through all the procedures sent in all our paperwork and even got an email form a Debbie asking to call and she would finalize our order.... Just curious about a few things. I will be doing 3 of them in a c pillar wall so i am curious about how far would i need to keep the subs surround away from the back seat? Also how much would it have mattered if i got these d2 ohm and have them wired at 1.35ohm powered by 2 AQ2200 strapped together?

So a good portion of the new raw parts arrived today -- nearly a full 40' HQ truckload of soft parts and frames. Plus, of course, additional E, SA, and Z v.3 style parts! Still have more that will be arriving on our next two containers as well to complete all of the parts we need for X, Z v.4, and NS v.3 drop-ins / re-cones... will be partial containers of parts on those as many of the out-of-stock woofers will be coming in on those trucks as well (SA and SD-2 lines). I have a saz3500 that i bought with my z v2 15's and i was wondering whats the difference in the models

Will mixing 2 different sub models produce any cancellation if they are in seperate enclosures and same size? ie, Using a SA-12 and a Z v.3 12"; strange question I know, but can't find info on it.
