What is the phone number to contact sundown audio? I have looked on the website and on this website and in my owners manual etc. and i can't find it.

i went to ssa store and it says the preorder for the saz 4500 is 1100 dollars has that changed ,and does anyone know what the price would be arond the end of january thats when my money comes in?

I have had single audiopulse axis dual 2 ohm sub wired to my sundown 3000 at 1 ohm. I was going to get a second sundown for my second axis. but recently testing the power and impedence rise charts with my wt3 woofer tester, i found that my impedence rise is going up to 3 with the single axis. so ive only gotten about 2000watts with lots of clipping. After i noticed that i put both axis's in a sealed box with them wired down to .5 ohms. i clamped it today and took an impedence curve and its raising to about 1.1 ohms now. i got about 2300 watts before my voltage dropped too low where i didnt want go continue, and no one was here to rev the engine. hi guys, im using this calculator http://www.caraudio911.com/tutorials/GainSet/voltage.htm to get my gains all set up on my truck, and im getting different numbers. i have 2 sundown saz1500-ds strapped, and 2 d2 fi audio BTL 18s in my s10 can someone help me out on getting these gains where they should be? also i metered it the other day just setting the gain by ear and it did a 146.8 legal. im getting 2 more sundowns down the road, i want to be in the 150 club! thanks for your help in advanced,

Four in my Explorer powered by a single saz-3500 @ 0.5ohm. They love it. These subs are truly little beasts. You need to hear them in person to understand just how good they sound and how loud they can get. And they're a good price too. Hey, just wanted Team Sundown to know that The crowd at the XSPL Show with Drop Jaw Magazine in Kinston N.C. was off the hook! There were so many women, ooops I mean people that it really made it for a great time! I gave so many demos, I thought I was DJ just for a minute. Car is a 2000 Altima with 2 HD315's forward firing. Picked up 2 more 1500D's for a song, so I threw them in so both pairs are strapped at 3ohms. Box is 8 cubes tuned to 35Hz as it sounds best for the music I listen to, meaning anything but new rap. It's just a daily driver that sounds very nice, but can get pretty loud also. TL at the headrest I did a 147.1 @ 31Hz which I was told is decent for a trunk car. I was pretty happy as it's far from an SPL car as I run a decent active front stage and dial the subs back 99% of the time. Jacob, any chance of us seeing Sundown home audio amps in the future? I know you make some great bang for the buck car audio amps and I'd love to see that carried over to the home audio side of things.

I have just installed my saz1000D : wow !!! I had a JL A1800D (650 watts at 4 ohms), and now the Sundown at 1 ohm. I was not expecting such a big change in output!!! It's'another world !! Couldn't be happier Now my Icon 15 is playing loud, low, and always sooo clean. But I wonder what to do with the remote provided : is it for the gain? Is it for bass boost? How to use it? Please, let me know.

hey jacob with 3 of ur 3000ds so far with my windshield losing its seal and moving 4" im doing a 157 at 39hz with my batteries not being charged for 4 months. solid solid solid amps!! cant wait to buy 3 more will post vids and pictures as soon as i get them. the van has a show to attend in 2 hours oh and btw thats my wall still being bare mdf and not curved or anything only gonna get louder!!! watch out bassracers haha

I got 2nd place in the Modified 1001 - 2000W class last night with a score of 147.0db @ 48Hz in the kick panel of my '02 GMC Envoy. This score to me seems really odd though. A month ago with my stock 150Amp Alt I did a 147.9db @ 38Hz sealed on the dash but this time sealed in the kick I was only able to achieve 147.0db @ 48Hz with a 300Amp alt. Can anyone comment as to why you think that is so? Also looks like I have an issue somewhere with my wiring. I can play music all day long at full tilt with no problems, but once I put on the USACI Shootout CD and play a test tone the slave amp goes into protect once I hit 12V. i met up with nightshade the other day just to talk and hear the shades. And let me tell you its brutal!! i have been to a couple of shows and havent heard anything like this. vision blurry, hard to breathe, felt like somebody was just punchin me n the head and kickin me n the chest and that was only halfway on the bass knob. at full blast, i felt myself drifting in and out of consiousness LOL . zach is one of the coolest dudes youll ever meet, and he knows his chit. Monday I ordered 2 of the SAZ 1500d amps called Massive and told em i hope they did'ent plan on selling a lot of amps in Dallas or Ft Worth Tx after Fu@king me around like that a Happy Customer tells 12 people an Un-Happy customer tells EVERYONE anyway after Much discussion with Djman, and James they agree with Jacob that the 2x 1500d's would be better in the long run over the 3000d for wireing options, as sometimes i use 2x 15" and the next time i will have 4x 15" subs !!! I got my 1200D yesterday evening and had a chance to look it over and take some pics today. 1st off this thing is built like a tank, very solid feeling amp. It blows away the Infinity 611A I have been using as far as build quality goes and the Infinity costed just as much when I bought it new a few years ago. Not to mention the Infinity puts out half the power. On one side of the amp it's got heavy duty power connecters that take 1/0 gauge wire. They are not made from cheap crap that makes you afraid to tighten things up.The speaker outs and remote turn on are built the same way.It's also got 5 30 amp fuses. Does anyone know what the motor width of the sundown 12" sub is? If theres a few 12" lines Im looking for one that is 6.75" in width if not less thanks

I have 2 1500s coming to me and before i install them i want to make sure that my electrical will handle it right now i have a stock alternator on my bravada (blazer if you will) pushing ~110amps and 1 yellowtop optima my plan was just to replace the stock alt with a 300 amp one but seeing as these amps can be run at a higher voltage than 14.4 i was thinking of doing dual alts and running 16 volts on a 300 or 200 amp alternator (whichever is reccomended) and have a seprate battery in the back I would like to get as much power from them as possible so i will most likely strap them @ 1ohm (i know its not covered under warranty) I just need to know how big of an alternator…

Has anyone actualyl done power testing on the 100.4? I really want 125 watts x 4 rms but I really want a sundown amp so just curious what the 100.4 really puts out? Thanks

Ive been planning and install for over 2 years swapping out different components and subs and wiring and batteries and even cars. But I finally landed a good job and was making money I decided it was time to treat my self.
