So... I've been suffering with horrible front speakers ever since I sold my BMW 325i a few years back. Due to the nature of the audio business I have been implementing SPL system in my Jeep (the whole reason I got it) and neglecting the front stage. NO MORE! Finally something decent... The wooden adapter rings are temporary... thinking about getting some aluminum rings machined locally and powder coated to match and also paint the kick panels. Need to vacuum too Have not fixed up the door panel yet since I have not decided if thi…

I tried to send you a PM in this site, but the system wouldn't allow me to send it because it says your box is full. Over in one of my threads in diymobileaudio.com you said you still had some of the original model SD-1 10" subs you'd sell me. I'd like to order a pair so please reply so we can arrange payment. Thanks. grampi

So i figure what the hell might as well post this up, this was at Midwest SPL Finals (so its legit, best ive done is a 150.5 with these, just not at an event, and it was much colder of a day when i did that compared to this). this metering style is on the glass (like db drag) but with windows and doors able to be open during the run. and yes, i lost to an AQ HDC3, but thats not the point of this LOL system is in a 1997 chevy cavalier, box is around 5 cubes with a 6" aero, burps at 42 hz, enjoy the vid (best if watched in hd)

alright, can i set my remote gain to where full remote gain is peak for me. by setting the amp gain low, and having the remote gain hi will that mess the amp up or send a clipped signel i know with the hifonics you can not use the remote gain as a volume knob for the amp, but the hifonics remote gain for the goliath is a input adjuster, so it raises and lower the input signel, i wanna make sure my sundown can dothe job or not also jacob i got no sundown swag with my amp.... can i get a sticker or somthing:D and a flyer,

1. I'm in the middle of buying an SAE 1000d from a member of another forum and I'm curious about how many amps is this going to draw, I was guessing around a 150 amp fuse (guessed draw to be around 125 amps) assumed .8 efficiency) to be safe, but I'm not sure, and I figured someone on here could give me a much more accurate number and maybe even a link to fuses that would perfectly fit my system. 2. Also I've looked at other topics concerning this amp and it seems that it has 2 positive and 2 negative ports for the speaker wire... but it's a monoblock amp? Once I get the amp i plan on hooking it up to my two Alpine Type R's and I'm wondering, do I hook them up …

Ok i am still tryin to get the math down and figure out what would be the best overall enclosure . I want a wide range of response and to be loud as well. I know going with a high tune will most likely produce high spl levels but this is not a competion box. I am not interested in serious sq but want it to be musical and not really peaky I have some box specs and would like some help in deciding if the box will work for what i want width- 47in height- 21in depth-14in port width-3.5 port lenght1-9.75 port lenght2-3 port area -68 volume 5.6cubes tuned 35htz

I have it powering 2 speakers in 2 channel mode bridged. One speaker is on channel 1 (Positive) channel 2 (negative) One speaker is on channel 3 (Positive) channel 4 (negative) RCAs: One line to channel 1+3 (using Y-splitter) One line to channel 2+4 (using Y-splitter) It seems to be working fine, but I am unsure about RCA connection, Did I connect it right? From what I've read, if in bridged mode, then all RCAs need to be filled via Y-Splitters. If I have it hooked up as 1+2 and 3+4, then only 3+4 will play (this is coming from the MIDS input of the HU as I am using the 4 channel to power my mids in bridged mode)

Jacob, from what I have seen you post in the past couple weeks on the new sub, it sounds like you are planning on making it for more of a ported/spl/ high power app? If so, I have an idea which you may or may not like. I suggest that you make 2 versions of it, 1 for the ported/spl crowd, and another that is totally for the small sealed crowd. I don't know if it's possible to do with the same motor and just a soft parts swap.. call 1 the p8, and one the s8. I have 8 of your e8's and I like them, but wish they had more power handling in a small sealed app. They do tend to bottom fairly easily when you get some power to them, in the recced enclosure. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, …

D2 coils / 3 Hard 10" Spiders (PSI) / Nightshade Cone * Starting rear part of spider glue joint * Finished up * Extra glue bead around the perimeter of the spider * Another shot. * CA glue covering all the exposed former wrap material as well as bottom of cone joint. * Top triple joint Dust cap is a simple plain black poly cap. Sub performs quite well free air on our 1500D on the bench - looks like this beast would handle a ton more power mechanically and thermally

Kind of a funny video of Paco playing his truck yesterday. It's getting louder and louder. I think it has even more in it... 153 @ 25 Hz 154 @ 33 Hz 155 @ 45 Hz Very flat too... we haven't metered higher yet, though. 12x Obsidian 12s 3x SAZ-3500Ds 7x XS Power D1000s charging 18.8v

It was delivered yesterday to my work. I opened it up today. It. is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Sure, it is used (I bought it from Jacob's resale link.), but in great condition. Comes with the 1 year warranty and the remote gain adjust. I can't wait to incorporate it into the system I am getting ready to install in my car. Jacob was fantastic to deal with. He talked me through a paypal transaction. Just to not sound like a dumbass I had never done that before. He shipped it fast before he left for the CES. I doubt I get it in the car for a while as the doors have to be done/deck installed. Plus I have to find a place for it. Anyway, all of the stories regarding the customer service of …

Alright. I have the amps installed in my car. I have the Rca's wired properly for strapping. Now the speaker connections. I have both subs wired like this. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woof...mp;woofer_imp=3 Mine are wired for 2 ohms. I have one set of wires coming out of my box. Positive speaker wire is going to my Master amp. Negative wire is going to my slave amp. Do I have them wired properly or am I going to have to wire each speaker to each output on the amp? It just isn't getting loud. I have the output voltage set at 77.5 volts A/C. Could someone show me some pictures of how to wire 2 dual 2 ohm subs up in the strapped configuration? I know…
