would there be any way to make a completelly wireless amp? something like a Bluetooth setup so people can get away from tearing their vehicles apart to wire their doors and what not. it's easy to power up an amp, but a pain in the ass to wire up the doors and the rest of it. i would love to see an amp that only needs the power and ground and instead of a remote wire or RCA's the amp turns on via Bluetooth signal sent from the headunit and sends signal to the speakers via Bluetooth. could you imagine how great that technology would be? i think it's an awesome idea. i think the amp would have to be on each speaker though and someting like a Bluetooth router would have to be…

The Highlander Sword. One Hell of a competition and against a tough competitor named Brian Thornhill The Highlander Sword Unsheathed. I really had an awesome time at the show this weekend and thanks to everyone for helping me out. Props to Jacob for building a very strong subwoofer and My 3500D amplifier. I set a State Record in StreetBeatz with 149.4DB on music. Chock up another victory for Team Sundown.

Today I took the Escalade to its first show its seen, I honestly was expecting to do terrible, but I just wanted to go to have fun and meet people, I wasn't about the numbers. I haven't had access to a termlab to test with, and I totally thought the Funkmaster Flex show was next week. This being said I have been awake for 48 hours, yesterday after I got home from a full shift at work at 4:00 a.m. I did nothing but work on the car and get things put in. At Noon wrapped up and headed over to the show. While I was there I Introduced myself to Team Loco, they're great guys. I ran DB3 and took 1st with a 122.5. The show was great, DJ Unk performed, tons of people, lots of amaz…

got a couple NSv2 15" d1's, built the box and would like some input on amp selection (Sundown as im a new dealer). We running Street Beat 4 (unlimited alt, bat, amp... across the board). Box is 3ft^3 per sub and tuned to about 55hz, (subs and amp on same plane) bed cut into a single cab silverado. My question is i guess is what can i put to these things (within reason), money not being an option, 2500 per coil?? 4500 on each one??? if we use 45's should we dual alt? goal is 156db, which sould be easily obtainable, imo might get close to 160 with the luck we've had lately (outlaw rules, i can post legal #'s too)

Ran a box design through WinISD and wanted some input. This is for 4 E8 8inch subs. It is a three chambered enclosure, each outside enclosure is 1 cubic foot tuned to 70 hertz. The inside enclosure is 2 cubic feet and is tuned to 40 hertz. The woofers will be mounted magnet end in the 1 cubic foot side two woofers per the 1 cubic foot side firing into the 2 cubic foot portion. This is for my kid who listens to mostly rap. Powering this will be a SAE1000d. A subsonic filter will be used to keep over excursion down. The graph on WinISD looks impressive in an open air environment. Any reason to not utilise this box design?

Alright. I have the amps installed in my car. I have the Rca's wired properly for strapping. Now the speaker connections. I have both subs wired like this. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woof...mp;woofer_imp=3 Mine are wired for 2 ohms. I have one set of wires coming out of my box. Positive speaker wire is going to my Master amp. Negative wire is going to my slave amp. Do I have them wired properly or am I going to have to wire each speaker to each output on the amp? It just isn't getting loud. I have the output voltage set at 77.5 volts A/C. Could someone show me some pictures of how to wire 2 dual 2 ohm subs up in the strapped configuration? I know…

in the sticky where they did a test this is what was read Power supply voltage was 16.5 volts at rest dropping to around 14.5 volts. So consider this a 14.5 volt output rating. Our clamp meter ran out of steam at 400 amps so we measured efficiency at lower levels: 3294 watts @ 84% efficiency (252 amps draw) 3938 watts @ 81% efficiency (316 amps draw) 4424 watts @ 74% efficiency (392 amps draw) here is my question and i want to get a better understanding of this so bear with me for a minute..lol 3294 watts with 252 amps draw..now lets say your running 2 of the 3k watt models which would be 504 amps draw? and if your alt is only a 300 amp alt how does that work? im sure i h…

  21. ok heres my question (sorry if i seem like an idiot lol), I own a saz-1500d, and im planning on going with a single AQ HDC3 15" but what has had me stumped is if to buy a dual 1 ohm and wire the sub in series and then bridge it to the amp, or would it be a dual 2 ohm wired in parallel and connected to one of the inputs and not bridged, because what im trying to achieve is to have the amp play at 1 ohm at 1500 rms. the reason why i ask is because on the forum here i saw a a post that says the amp is not bridgeable, because it is a 1 ohm mono, but then on the manual the diagram appears as if it is bridgeable if going with a single sub setup, im obviously reading one of th…

Hey guys I just got my amp today its HUGE. Im running 2 sets of comps off this amp, Hertz HSK165 for the front and infinity kappa perfect 6.1 for the rear. I thought i hooked everything up properly but that was not the case. My balance and fader controls are wrong, when i adjust to left or right the front left and rear right work. I dont know whther the speaker wires themselves are wrong, or if iinstalled the rca wrong. There are no markings on the rca just 2 red and 2 black so I dont know where they go. Secondly, I need help setting the adjustments. I want this amp to be stritcly for mids and highs since I have 2 subs. I set it to HPF for both switches on the amp…
