I tried to send you a PM in this site, but the system wouldn't allow me to send it because it says your box is full. Over in one of my threads in diymobileaudio.com you said you still had some of the original model SD-1 10" subs you'd sell me. I'd like to order a pair so please reply so we can arrange payment. Thanks. grampi

Every message I sent today was rejected by my server... just got all of the errors all at once at the end of the day. Something is up and they seem to think I sent over 100 e-mails in one hour... so until I can figure out what is going on it may take me longer than normal to reply. I can still RECEIVE emails no problem, though, so you can still send me a message... but this problem seems to have made email not work on my Blackberry as well and I have to log into my Hotmail to send any messages... so response time will be up. Sorry guys... working with the hosting company on this.

Jacob or whomever can answer, The dustcap came off one of the E8's my boy is using. What glue should be used to fix it? How long should it dry? As an added note, the box for my boy is finally built. Going to paint it this spring but he is going to use it untill then. It has been hooked up @ 4 ohms for a couple of weeks. We are going to hook it up @ 1 ohm today. I am going to video his first impressions of it.

Okay so I'm going with the Z12's v.2 and I'll be powering them with an SAZ-3500D, I have a design for a slot ported box similar to the one I have now for my SA-12's. My question is, the box for my SA-12's is tuned to around 30Hz, what should I tune the box for my Z12's to? Although I want to compete with the Z12's I may keep them in my car from time to time just as a daily driver.

I have it n a 4.8 cube box now, & it sounds good. using 3 4" aeros @ 32 hz. not sure if I want to use the aeros or a slot 4 the new built, would like to use the 3 4"s but ill b to long 4 my box. so I'm thinkin maybe only usin 2 4". what u think?

Has anyone mounted their Sundown amps upside down? If so, were there any issues with heat?

From what i've read, bass boost only sends an ugly, distorted signal to the sub. So should bass boost be set to zero, and only use the wired gain remote? Also, when using the gain remote, does it override the settings you have on the actual amp (the Gain knob on the amp)? Also, bass should be set to zero on the head unit, correct? Edit: Talking about the Saz-1500d here

So heres what is on my mind. First off i am wondering how to wire a subwoofer down to a one ohm load due to there being two sets of speaker terminals. Maybe a noob question but i cant figure it out. Second and this mite be harder to answer. Will this amplifier overpower a Fi BL15 with with the hyper pole upgrade or would it be able to take the juice without messing anything up? Any elightenment would be appreciated.

Some of you have called and had a "new" guy answer in the last week -- Nick is now answering phones for part of the day here at Sundown. You can talk to him about most of your questions -- if he doesn't have the answer you can leave a message and Brandon or I can e-mail you back from the message but please at least leave a brief message for us. I am often not here @ the shop all the time now due to other projects so we are getting a bit more help around here!
