put it in this morning... spent the rest of day driving around enjoying it... first, let me state the system, 1/0 knu-con, in engine and to the back 230a, alt 110a idle? yellow top up front, kinetik 2400hc back 300a circuit breaker front, and back. stinger volt meter. with gain @ 1/2 on the amp, no bass boost, 1/2, or less boost from the alpine deck, at volume 20, 35 is max... one song popped the breaker. voltage held good, well not at idle, but did drop just below 12 at times when pushing it hard. the orion 2500 put up 147.2 when it popped the breaker, put I was pushing it way harder. Alright. I have the amps installed in my car. I have the Rca's wired properly for strapping. Now the speaker connections. I have both subs wired like this. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woof...mp;woofer_imp=3 Mine are wired for 2 ohms. I have one set of wires coming out of my box. Positive speaker wire is going to my Master amp. Negative wire is going to my slave amp. Do I have them wired properly or am I going to have to wire each speaker to each output on the amp? It just isn't getting loud. I have the output voltage set at 77.5 volts A/C. Could someone show me some pictures of how to wire 2 dual 2 ohm subs up in the strapped configuration? I know…

well i went to a db drag show over the weekend....it was my first time with the new amps... bass raced at a 155.3 not too bad.. the amps work great.. but my voltage was kinda suckin.. 11.5 voltz full tilt.... workin on getting more batts and another alt.. funny thing.. i did that number with my main RCA's falling out..i only had one in when i bass raced !! maybe i could have done a 156 with both plugged in.....oh well.. good weeknd .......... lil-john

well team carlisle acoustics/ team sundown audio went to E town today and i believe we made a good showing. 1st palce STREET 2 - Derek "me" with a 147.7 @ 34hz SPL in my VOLVO 2nd place MOD 2 - Jeremy with a 149.9 1st place DRIVE BY 2 - Jeremy with a crushing 128.4 1st place DRIVE BY 1 - Corey with a 121.9 and i believe Seth was in 3rd place in AS1 cant remember his score We should have plenty of pics to post up as well.!!

in the sticky where they did a test this is what was read Power supply voltage was 16.5 volts at rest dropping to around 14.5 volts. So consider this a 14.5 volt output rating. Well im a big fan of Sundown and recently aquired a 3000D now im using one of the clasic Opti AMps and might be able to sell and was considdering saz 4 channel. Neetless to say if they keep doing what they are doing ill never buy a different branded Mono but my question is about the 4 ch Ill be using it to run active so crossover points not that important but being loud and sounding clean will be. It will be the older labeled model but it will still be un used. IDK if that makes any difference

How safe is it if I was to run pair of BTL15D2's @ 0.5ohm with music? I'm only able to buy one amp at the moment. I will be getting another as soon as I can, then I'll strap them @ 2ohm I dont know much about calculating imp. rise or anything like that, nor do I have the tools. This is honestly the largest system that I've ever done. thanks. I will be doing electrical as well support the planned power. H/O alt if and when I can find one 3 or 4 Kinetik hc2000

I've been pretty quiet on here for a while now but I have to say a few words about Sundown and Jacob. I bought 6 - 3500D's and 3 - 125.2's over the course of last year. I never got them all at once but Jacob gave me discounts anyway even though I'm not a member of Team Sundown. Not to mention numerous stickers, t-shirts and a can cozy all for free. A few months back I had an issue with one of the 125.2's and asked Jacob what I should do. He suggested the normal "check your wiring and signal paths" which I did. I even took the amp out of the car and the problem still occurred on the bench. Jacob accepted it as a warranty repair but could not find anything wrong with …

what is the avereage gain when i pull out all the rear plastic????? i need to beat a guy in a local comp. i did a 151.4 and he did a 152.9 If i remeber right it was 2 db! Any help before next satureday would be great

What kind of power does the 100.4 make per channel at 8 ohms?

Jacob or whomever can answer, The dustcap came off one of the E8's my boy is using. What glue should be used to fix it? How long should it dry? As an added note, the box for my boy is finally built. Going to paint it this spring but he is going to use it untill then. It has been hooked up @ 4 ohms for a couple of weeks. We are going to hook it up @ 1 ohm today. I am going to video his first impressions of it.

Does anyone have an idea of about how many amp the 1500d pulls at 1ohm while going from 14.4 to around 13 volts

I own an Atomic AT 1600.1D and recently purchased a Sundown SAZ 1500D because I am converting once the Sundown 50.4 comes out. I tested it out today in my truck and here's my opinion. Both amps are very very well built. There was noo difference in bass and performance. Both amps never get hot. They both performed surperbly on my 3 10's. The major difference and Chris from DB R told me this was the heatsink design. The Sundown was much heavier. The Sundown is built like a tank I mean that "mother" is one solid amp. I purchased a 1200D a while back, strapped it up worked great for a long while on the Xcon but as of recent it started cutting out. Power was still on, wasnt in protect ever. It would stay on the majority of the day and eventually at night it would work for 30 secs after i turned my car on then stop playing. Itd be fine for a few days, then happen again..but now it hasnt worked in a week. Any suggestions on what to look for? I switched the rca's and it didnt change anything. Any input would be great.

Hey all, our Finals event was today and boy was there some heated competition. Andrew AKA Andrew2944r had his beautiful truck there. 3 DC LVL 5 18's in a wall, with 3 Sundown SAZ 3K's and 7 Kinetiks with Dual Alts from DC Power. Did a 157.8 at 55Hz...destroying his competition. Another member, Jordan had his Black Neon there with a single SAZ 1500D on 1 DD 9515F doing 149.7's at 59Hz. I myself had my car there, 2 12" Soundstream SPLX 12's on 2 SAZ 3K's...I had radio and electrical problems and crap all day...stumbled and clipped my way to a 148.9 ended up taking my class anyways.
