Hey guys, bout to order a SAZ-1500d and a SAX-125.2 and I have a 12inch Nightshade on the way. I'm also gonna put a Kinetic HC1800 in the trunk. I'm gonna order a dual amp kit from KnuKoncepts. My question simply is whats the best amp kit for these amps? I guess it would be more of a question about what size I need. I just want to do it up as nice as possible. KnuKoncepts looked good, but I'm also open to recommendations of other wiring brands. I also want to do the Big 3. What exactly would I need for that? Any other suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been around for a while but been out of the game for about 5 or so years(not that I knew all that…

Does anybody know how to replace the led inside of the bass remote for the sundown saz 1500 v1? Also what kind of light it is so i can buy the correct replacement? Also why would my knob make my bass the same loudness at halfway and all the way up?

Gotta say that Sundown has their shit together. Not only are their products top in the business but their customer service is outstanding! Tuesday morning I emailed Sundown about a used basket and a t-shirt. A couple hours later my email was replied to and a few more emails later, within an hour, my swag was ordered. I received my order today, three days after ordering Thanks Sundown! I will also add that I requested a little something special added to my Z.3 that I ordered a couple weeks ago. Without hesitation Sundown complied. A lot of companies ship straight from a build house without personally testing or even seeing the product they sell, not Sundown!

Jacob, I just wanted to thank you for having the vision and the balls to make amps like yours. I have enough power to make the Fiancee tell me I am rediculous without even having to really turn up the bass. I truly treasure my SAZ-3000. I am just waiting for better componants so I can actually turn the gain on my 100.4 up a bit and see what she will REALLY do. But that as always costs $$$ Thanks again, Jordan

  9. Hey guys, I bought some E8s a long time ago and haven't had time to install them in a vehicle yet. I'm looking to build a ported box for two of them and was using a calculator online to help me figure out how big to make the port. The box is for two E8s (they displace .03 ft3 each right?) and I'm trying to build it so each sub gets .6 ft3 of airspace and the port is tuned to 30 hz (like the sundown website recommends). I can get the internal dimensions right at 1.2 ft3 (a little more actually to accommodate the displacement of the sub) but the port is only a 2"x2" square 8" long. Does that seem right? Could I make it 1"x4" rectangle or even .5"x8"? Or would that caus…

  10. I am undergoing a rebuild, and took everything out of my truck to check on everything. After opening my amp I found this zip tie broken, I don't foresee any problems forming from not having it... but it had to be there for some reason. Will my amp be alright? Thanks!

Ported Enclosure would be around 1.2cubes, sa8 is rated at 400watts and I see everyone seems to feed them a lot more for even daily... So will the sa8 still move enough to get some decent output with only 300watts? This setup isn't for competing obviously, just for my old man

  15. i am gettin alot of question lately about this, and it seems to put off alot of people that ask for a passive set up front and a 2 ohm subwoofer. and they been asking me if i can check for the SAX100.4 for 2 ohm bridged ability. can anyone test this? i only tried for a few mins on a low power subwoofer , without any special faults. no excessive heat, no protection, no audible distortion, i was wondering if anyone could bench the 100.4 @ 2 ohm bridge usability. it could be great to find out that it can do this:) thanks Eli.

I am replacing my son's existing 100.2/(2)BA G110's with a new 1000D along with the SD1-V2's. I plan on running 1 ohm load with 200+ watts of overhead from the amp. What measurements and adjustments do I need to make to adjust the gains so that my 16 year old son won't blow that crap out of these new subs? With the 100.2 & the BA G110's, they were a perfect 4 ohm bridged 400 watt match. I was told to adjust the gain for an output of 40 volts rms with the subs disconnected @ 3/4 volume. This setup has performed perfectly. Is there an initial setup voltage that I can shoot for that will limit the 1000D to approx 800 watts into a 1 ohm load? Any help will be greatly ap…

Does this sub compare to jl sound quality? I'm looking to replace RF T110's in a sealed box , to something in a 2-12" ported box. I listen to a variety of music( rock, rap, metal, some country, etc) , just trying to find something that sounds good and will get pretty loud and still sound good. Power wise probably going with the RF T1500-1.

I'm currently doing up my electrical system to support my SAZ-3000D. I currently have a "200" amp alternator (E-bay special) and I'm looking into doing a 6 battery bank but I have never gone to this extreme, so I was wanting any advice as to wire or to run this type of set up. just to ensure proper charging and what not. Any advice in this field would be very very appericated. To those who are wondering why 6 batts for 1 amp, I'm planning on getting another 3000 as soon as budget allows.

Went to our local TBP event here in Fort Worth(other side of world for me)....100 mile round trip... Threw in 1 of my Sundown Audio 3000D's with all 3 DEKA 9A31's and 2 12" JBL Power Series subwoofers in a 34Hz box with a final impedance of 2 ohm at the amplfier...Decided I wanted to burp them....so I pulled up in the lanes....and burped a 147.0 and a 147.3 which was barely enough to scrape out 1st place....2nd place did a 147.1... I was pretty happy for what I was running and how I had it set-up, it did higher than I predicted.... I'm going to fiberglass this enclosure, and cut the port to about 45Hz, and burp me a 150+.... It's going to be something to see.. One of my…

I bought a SAX-100.4 a long time ago and had it installed in my last car for about 1 year, and I had it sitting in my garage since then. I recently hooked it up into my current car and am having a strange problem. I am only running front speakers with a small sub eventually to come. So I ran the speaker cable from the front speakers to Channel 1 and 2. I then plugged Channel 1 and 2 RCA's into the Front Left-Right on my Alpine 9886 HU. When I listen to a song music only comes out the drivers side properly. I try plugging the RCA from Channel 1 into Channel 2 on the amp and no sound. Plug either RCA into channel 1 and sounds on the drivers side. Plug either into Ch…
