I just picked up a 3rd 1500D last night for a steal of a deal and might pick up a 4th in a few weeks if the guy decides to sell it. Is there way to wire one remote gain knob to both strapped pairs of them? If not how do you normally control multiple amps as I really like being able to turn them up/down from the driver's seat?

Just for reference... please e-mail me. The delay on responding to PMs is annoying when I have 10 to answer so I am going to quit answering them once my box fills up again - please e-mail me.

Trying to wire up now- not worried about what ohm to wire it up to got that i got 3 and i am wiring it to 1.33 ohms and i was gonna just use the wire terminal as a jumper to get the neutral and power wire to the other subs like 2 wires on the terminals on 2 of the subs and the last sub will just have 1 wire into all the terminals because i dont have to jump it on the far end so my question is can two 12 gauge wires fit in one of the terminal in the sa8-- if not would it be better to run a seperate run for each speaker to where the wires are coming into the box- or would wire nutting them and getting a good tape job be good enough cant wait to try these out-to make su…

I have the original motors and I wanted to know a few things about these puppies. 1) Are the new motors deeper (or any different at all?) allowing the coil more travel or are they close to the original E8, as I've bottomed these out and cause several mechanical failures (I will take this into consideration when I build my next box, 8-16 will be powered by a single 3000D, re-enforce the spiders, ect., design the box to prevent bottoming out, i always set subsonic, but love low extension and will likely be tuning low) 2) The spiders are wider, about all I know, are they stiffer? 3) Is the surround built to handle more travel, is it stiffer? 4) If you happen to have the spec…

hi, i am going to be getting an sax100.2, sax100.4 and a saz3000d. and i am wondering if this is going to be enough electrical to support it. 1 powernaster D1200 up front, 2 powermaster d3100 in the back, a 190 amp alternator (biggest one for my car) 1/0 big 3, and i am going to be running a ground run to connect all the batteries together. also the sax100.2 will be at 2 ohm. two of the channels will be at 2 ohm and the other set will be at 4 ohm on the sax100.4 and the saz3000d will be at 2 ohm(reason for the saz3000d at 2 ohm and not an saz1500d is that i might get a new vechile(sp) in a year and then i want to go for just spl in the new vechile(sp(. so then i will al…

Watsup fellas, so I got a new Sundown SA12D4 after I blew my other one and I got some questions in regards to setting gains to prevent this from happening again. So my setup consist of a single sundown SA12d4 in a ported box 1.75 cubes tuned at 35hz, wired at 2ohm to an Alpine MRX-M110 (rated 1100rms @ 2ohms), and Kinetic HC2000 w/ knuconceptz 4g kit. So i set my gains with a DMM using the equation squareroot(rms×ohm impedance). Since my amp is more powerful I downgained and used the rms rating for the sub instead of the amp in the equation which gave me squareroot(600×2ohm)=34.64voltage. What I'am wondering is if id be able to raise the gain past that to perhaps squa…

Today I took the Escalade to its first show its seen, I honestly was expecting to do terrible, but I just wanted to go to have fun and meet people, I wasn't about the numbers. I haven't had access to a termlab to test with, and I totally thought the Funkmaster Flex show was next week. This being said I have been awake for 48 hours, yesterday after I got home from a full shift at work at 4:00 a.m. I did nothing but work on the car and get things put in. At Noon wrapped up and headed over to the show. While I was there I Introduced myself to Team Loco, they're great guys. I ran DB3 and took 1st with a 122.5. The show was great, DJ Unk performed, tons of people, lots of amaz…
