Sundown Audio

This is the first time I've used a remote gain, so sorry if I'm just being stupid. Anyway, I just got it installed and have my gain on the amp set about half way. Now every time I start to turn the remote gain, I get a pop from my subs. Why is this happening? Is it my ground? If so, I'm not sure how I could make it any better. The ground is secured to the chasis and I sandpaper'd the area where the ground makes contact. I'm also using brass screws/bolts to secure it. I'm just a little confused here.

can a sazx-100.4 handle 2 ohm on bridge mode?, if any one have try it before, let me know thanks

K got my saz-1000d today. Now I know on other amps to get the most out of it you need to bridge the 2 channels. Now on this amp do I need to do the same? I noticed it doesnt have it printed on the amp. You know what I mean. Pos of 1 channel and neg of 2nd channel. I have it wired to a 15 fi Q with bp option in a sealed box. sub is wired amp pos to 1 side then bridged over to the the other pos. same for neg. I think this presents a 1 ohm load to the amp.

Hey jacob, what kind of crossovers will the 250.2 have? will it have crossovers so it can be used in a high powered component setup or will it be a sub amp? Or both?

As long as I don't let my voltage drop I should be able to strap them at 1 ohm right ????? what is a 3000d rated at at .5 an ohm has any one ever tested them??? plan on runnning four dd 12's 3500 or 9500 at 1 ohm is it worth it??

I need help with a box spec for my 2 Sundown Audio SA-15s. Its going into a Izusu Rodeo. My goal is to hit over 150db. The box needs to be 6 to 8 cubic feet, port tuned to 35hz and max width is 41". I looking for a box that i can use as a daily driver and for competitions. I would appreciate the help.

I know the sensitivity is only up to 6 volts but ill be running 2 3000Ds strapped

So today i noticed something interesting regarding my SAX100.4. I am currently running no subs (waiting for my saz2500(2) to come in) so my setup is the big 3, h/o, 2-nsb90, 2-zapco RB13.2 comps and the 100.4 so let me see if i can explain this issue correctly... here is my door panels for starters so i currently have all 4 channels in use and the crossover point is 80hz channel 1/2 - is 1 set of gains and filters (hpf) channel 3/4 - is another set of gains and filters (hpf) i am at the 1x range and hpf on channel 1/2 i have the gain set to 1/4 of the way up (just positioning i am not a noob it is for reference sakes) to match the output of 1/2 i have to set 3/4 gain…

I bout an SAZ 3000D a couple months ago off a guy. Paid 550 for it. i dont know how much warrenty is left on it. Amy way i could find out? serial number maybe?

so my friend tells me this idea, and i became interested and want to know some opinions. if its a good idea i may just go with this over a 4th order bandpass through armrest.... he says "Alright plan on re-building the box and I may try this. Remember my trunk is extremely sealed off, I have computers and what not all on behind the rear seat and with the panel off it doesn't let much air intot he car. Anyways, I want to face the subs the same way, towards the back and have the port facing up and into the car. It would be built so the port goes directly into the rear deck. Ok, should have my tax check here next friday...woot woot. I will be ordering 2 12" SA's and was wondering if this box and amp will work. Was getting a design done for 3.5cuft @ 30hz and will be running a Rockford Fosgate T1000.1 (the new mini black one) The amp says 1250 @ 1ohm I might upgrade the amp later...but this is what I have now. I know I will be using 2 4" aero ports (not sure on lenth..the designer is still designing, lol) Just curious as to what to expect. I had 2 JL w3 12s on this amp at 2ohms (800 watts) with a 3.5cuft @ 32hz box. They were in my former Explorer. I now have a 08 Civic SI coupe....just trying to get some comparisons. So I am building a center console for my F150 that will have two E8V2 in it. With the cubic feet being .5 I put together something. My only question is there a issue with having the magnets back to back as in the diagram below (not touching). Sorry for the mspaint crudeness.

Z v.3 Line SOLD OUT We have more motors due end of May to first of June. Demand for these has really been incredible... by far our best selling large subwoofer in company history. would the sd subs work in .5 cf. i cant find he spec its under a seat in a truck.
