As the title states. I will be on an actual vacation for the first time in ~6 years or so. The rest of the crew will still be here at the shop holding down the fort. You can still reach Brandon and Debbie as you normally would. Some things may be delayed a bit that require my attention but most things will get done no problem.

I have breifly looked but can some please tell me how to wire my saz1500 v2 to my FI 2ohm sub for a 1ohm load. Also does it matter which way the rca's are in? (They are not colored red and white on the amp) Pics would be awesome. I know these may be dumb questions but its the last thing for me to do.

i have a pair of sundown sd-1 v2 10"s and im wondering how big of a box they should be in?? i have them in 2 cubes at 28hz right now and they sound good but i just wanted to know for sure if the was was the right size or if i need to build a bigger or smaller one for them?? thanks fo rthe help

I just thought that I would post the results of our team from this past weekend's MECA event in E-town, KY. I didn't get any good pics from the show because it was cold and I was to busy trying to stay warm. Corey Mitchell 1st place in Drive-by 1 with a 120.5 30 second average 6 feet outside of the car. ok the issue is channel 4 of the amp does not work. amp has never really been used. its still under warranty so ill be sending it in sometime in the future just curious how many come out of the box with a messed up channel? i just used channels 1 2 for my comps and bridged 3 for my coaxials for right now. great amp just has an issue.

here goes... i had an old speaker book... in the wiring diagrams it shows a "phantom" wiring series... it shows on a 2 channel amp.. 3 speakers ran and it stays at say 4 ohms... 2 speakers hooked up normaly, then the 3rd is left + and right - can the sundown roll like that?

Got my 1200d yesterday, SWEET amp! one thing I still need though, A remote gain knob. Anyone have one taking up space and want to part with it? I need to be able to turn it down when the wife is in the car. Thanks all! David By the way, this amp is a healthy beast!

havent seen any available on SSA site. just wondering where can i pick up a set of 15"s. just preordered the 3500d lookin for something that can hang. also order 100.4 need components for that too. i have a set of 3 way components but i dont know if i wanna use them they are 350 watts rms.

Just wanted to say thanks to Jacob and everyone at Sundown for getting me my first 2 saz1500's so fast, as soon as I sell my laptop, i'll be ordering the other 2....should sound awesome on 8 x 15in SSDs in a ported clamshell!!! Well I was cruising ebay and found a 1500 and of course bought it without thinking twice! It is refurbished but still has the original warranty and with all the talk about how wonderful sundown is with customer service I would be a fool to pass this deal up! Pics will be coming! I have an 02 2 door blazer and I am still debating on what to run either one 15"Q, 18" Q ported or 2 12" Qs sealed.... My electrical should handle it just fine I have a redtop under the hood with 0 gauge going to a second yellowtop in the back.

Hi, I recently decided to upgrade my Type-R subs to 2 Sundown SA-12's (4 Ohm) for my SAZ-1500D amp and want to set them up as 1 Ohm and I have followed the diagram on the12-volt which is this: but my sub box has 2 wire terminals for each sub so what I did was for each sub - to - and + to + with the one + wire from the top coil and the - from bottom coil to the terminal and from the terminals to the amp to their -/+ and set jumpers on the amp as + to + and - to -, this should be ok right? I had the Type-R's is the same fashion which worked fine but the SA-12's aren't pushing which is making me think I might have done something wrong in the wiring so if someone can please…

I'm about to purchase a 1500d from a guy that is local to me. I was just wondering what it takes to run this thing at .5 ohm. My electrical will be: Stock 140a alternator, Big 3 done Powermaster D3100 battery for the front Powermaster D680 for the back Is there any reason that i wouldnt be able to run the 1500 at .5 ohm daily?

I'm going to build a ported box for two and need to know if the ported box volume spec (0.6 cuft tuned to 30Hz) is net or gross.

Well UPS finally came and dropped off my new baby in one piece...I must say, this sub is a monster. It looks like it could just devour my old type argghs! So I almost got the build complete, just gotta finish up my box and I'm good to go...had to wait on my ports which I also got today as well. I guess you can say it was a good day though. is there any specific way of wiring a Fi Q into 1 ohm? Its the dual 2 ohm. Do I wire to one speaker terminal or both? wiring diagram will help.
