Been putting this off for a while. I have been contemplating on doing a wall then I said nah i'll just trade the sub and back to keeping it and doing something with it. Well here goes a buncha wasted time later and I finally decided to kick off the build. I decided to stay street and try something different for once. I will reveal my complete box plans once it is in the car. Time for pics.

Starting my build log for my ford escape having an issue uploading my pictures here for it can some one recommend a good way to upload as they are larger than the max size allowed. Or will I have to take pictures of lower quality to get them to upload?

Not exactly sure on all the gear yet. I may just do it in several phases. The factory head unit died so I replaced it and now I'm itching to do more. The goals. More volume. Get some bass while using as few watts as possible and not giving up what little space I have in the back for hauling groceries and parts. The gear that I'm sure of, the rest will get sorted out as I go. I've been inactive on here, and in my audio, for a while. Picked up something new(to me) and have some plans for this one. I still have the alt and batteries from my tahoe so that will help. I have a dual alt bracket for the singer to sit on so the stock alt can stay pcm controlled and handle the trucks electronics while the singer runs the batteries and amplifiers. 80PRS in the dash, ipad in the console. Hope to squeeze my PPI phantoms in the console again and run the Seas mids again, maybe swap for the ER variety. Unsure on tweeters at the moment. This is my 1st build on a forum I will be going to get my car meter before I start the build. And was wondering should 6 pwx 6.5, 2 pwx 8"and 4FT1 go together or the crescendo cz 5.25 2 sets and 4 pwx 6.5 once I make the choice than I will start the build.

OEM stereo -> Audiocontrol EQL -> Soundqubed Q1.750 -> Rockford PPS4-6 and Morel MDT-12 & Soundqubed Q1-750 -> Sundown SA-12D2 Quick snap. Box is big and awkward. Its turns up around 2ft3 after sub and port displacment. The box nex to it is for a 2nd battery (XS D3100, I know that is too big for the little amp, but got that battery when I had a SQ Q1-2200). Sad thing is I need a 2nd battery even for that 750w amp. Maybe I should buy a smaller battery. But it;s easy to build a new box,. So i'll see how this all works out in the next couple weeks.

I've driven around my 2006 altima about six months now listening to the factory BOSE system. While it is nice, I felt it somewhat lacking. Thus I began my search. This Is my 2006 Buick Rendezvous CXL. This will be my 3rd rebuild and final build of this year for M.E.C.A finals. This is my 2006 Buick Rendezvous.... Pioneer 6800 DVD (not pictured yet) Ive got 4 Re Audio SEx 15's in a custom sealed box. The amp is a Rockford Fosgate T30001BD There is two boxes of dynamat extreme so far. I have a DC POWER 270xp alt. Box was made from 1 Inch MDF I didn't build this, a good friend of mine did in his backyard. ENJOY... Tuffguy40 came by and got a good video of my truck in action.

First of all the credit is due to Ramos and Matt for all the long,but fun weekends, on this build. I know I learned tons from Ramos, cooking techniques, and how to make perfect circles with a plunge router upside down and not lose a finger......well anyway here are the finished pics.... Last system consisted of a sundown audio 3k on 2 re Sex 10's and a sundown 125.2 on the factory door speakers. Plan is to get a sundown 50.4, alpine H701(to be run with an alpine w200) and some hertz 3 way components. Going from 10's to 12's and a forward firing box sealed off. Here is a video of the previous system Box was tuned to 30hz. Well here is the tear down and rebuild process Bye Bye Blew 1 10 last week and put a cover over the hole so I could still have some tunes for the time being.

Hello everyone, I wanted to get a build log going for my recent purchase. Just bought a DSS 15" Ethos (2 Ohm) and will be running it off my PPI BK1800.1 in a 3.32 cu ft net enclosure tuned to 32.13 Hz. Here is a list of my set up so far. Finally I got to do some real custom work again, seems like it's been forever. This customer is a great guy who loves to try out new speakers and gear all the time. He comes back regularly just to change things up a bit. This time, he wanted to take the kickpod plunge with his brand new Hybrid L3SE's and rework the door speaker position a bit. The project has begun. My first step is to make the car a bit quieter and eliminate some possible rattling and ambient noise for a future system and just plain comfort. Here's what I got so far. Supplies: 2 Rolls Raamat 45 sq.ft Vertex Barrier (will be here soon) Ensolite (will be here soon) I've installed the two rolls of Raamat in the cabin floor, back seat, and all four doors. I still have about a 1/4 roll left that I will use on the doors before I install the Ensolite. -Floorboard has two or three layers all around. After much deliberation, I have finally laid down the plan for my project build. I planned to do a trunk build, but decided I was trying to stuff to much crap in a very limited space. Deciding to put the enclosure inside the passenger area led me to consider a wall build, but this is my daily driver. So, a below the window line, Super Stock class build this will be. I am helping a buddy revamp his install. He was using a JL Audio component set for the font stage and JL Audio 12w6 subs powered by JL Audio Slash amps. He bought my P99RS from me and is now running active I gave him a quick four hour tune while drinking some beers and we got the JL's sounding really good. Good enough to be winning competitions but he wanted more. He bought a set of Seas components and is hoping for a better sound. I recommended a different route but this is what he choose.
