Decided against the underseat box since i have very little experience. Once im more confident in doing bevels and cutting angles i think ill do it. My wifes truck is a 98 Dogde Ram Sport, 3"lift 33" tires. PG Tantrum 1200.1 She listens to mostly R&B and Rap so I think this should make her happy for the time being. Alright guys. I recently decided to wall my 2001 Olds Alero after getting a really good quote on a Crossfire xs v2 18" and a strong need to build something. It will be one 18" for now and I plan to get another down the road. Alright Ive been bored after work this week, so Ive decided to build a bandpass box for my 10" z-5500 woofer and see how it sounds. This is my first bandpass box so I went with the 3/1 ratio. Designed by me of course, tuned to 40 hz with 15 sq in of port per cube. On to the equipment! Who ever said all prefabs are bad????? Me giving it a quick sanddown Heres what the rest of it looks like. I built these little boxes during the winter (while I was bored also) They get hella loud Will eventually paint it, but good enough for now! It hits a hell of a lot lower and louder than the original prefab box.

I'm going to quadruple this setup in a few months, but I pulled the trigger and bought one so I could do some testing. Not just on the sub, but I have alts that I like to test in-vehicle, and I can move 1 18 that can handle a ton of power around from vehicle to vehicle pretty easy. This temporary setup is 1 18 TSNS in 5ft net @ 35Hz. It's 70sq of port and kerfed. Amp is an American Bass 1000.1 @ 4 ohms with 3 D3100s and 1 240a alternator. Well guys I been on this forum for a lil while and its overdue that I make a build log. I dont have much $ flow to work with so, I have to sacrifice some things to get what I have. This enclosure was originally for a 15" Fi BL, it was 3.5 ft sq, tuned to 34hz. I redid it for a 15" FI BTL. Pretty much took the face off and had help from a friend guide me through it. This was a quick fix for my enclosure and it still holding on. I dont hve much pics of the build log, but I will post what I have. I redid the enclosure to 4 ft sq tuned to 34Hz. I used PVC for aeros and flared them, but not so good job.

So ive been out of the loop latley since i sold my old car. I had bought all this equipment about six months ago thinking i was going to put it in a HOE but things didnt quite go as planned... My dad ended up getting me a 03 Xterra for my graduation and within a week everything has been installed This is just a simple set up until i can save up enogh for something a little bigger! As the title states, gonna fab an iPad2 into the dash bezel of a Hummer H2. To do this, I will be deleting the row of 12v plugs at the bottom of the bezel. I will be deleteing the On-Star. I will be moving the HVAC controls to the very bottom. Fabricating a single DIN Alpine HU mount right above the HVAC controls and below the iPad. Relocating the 4 wheel drive controls and the load managment controls to the underside of the steering column panel. And then of course making a motorized mount for the iPad2. Sounds like such fun doesn't it?

Alrighty guyz, I just received my Aq hdc3 18 in the mail! Hopefully a good start to this build! I'm planning to go 7 cubes to 33 hz powered by two aq1500d's. I will be removing the rear seat, and building the box wrapped in pleather to match the interior. I will get 1 aq1500 for a little til I can get a h/o alternator then will step up and get the other! I have a 2000 maroon ext cab long bed gmc Sierra z71 with tan leather seat and interior.

For those that don't know, Sold the jeep, decided to get something somewhat sporty with enough cargo room for a nice substage. Behold the 2002 volvo v40... Front tires have several 2" long slits, ordered some bridgestone potenzas for the front & rear. The cargo area for substage...
