well i thought i would start a build log since im about to start my first set up that should get kinda loud. i have a 1997 honda accord v6 that already has a kenwood kdc-mp242 and some alpine sps-600 speakers in the front doors running off the HU power. i will be running my subs off my alpine mrp-m500 for right now til i sell it and buy a new amp in late february. equipment going in my car: 2 skar vvx-12 1 aq1200 1 set of 6.5's (undecided) and putting the alpines in the back 1 2 channel amp (undecided) heres some pics of the subs if you have not seen them yet i will start building the box tomorrow since i have to clean this out first :facepalm:

I know I have been wishy washy with EVERY idea I have came up with and I have asked you guys a million in a half different Q's but I have FINALLY come to a build decision after some recent news. I will be running/showing my car for a local company and helping them get their name out there. . Getting ready to install all of my stuff. Pretty much have all that I need to get this almost complete. Just waiting on an In-Line Fuse for between the battery and amp. Also waiting on my H/U, a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD, wiring harness, and dash kit. Well, i crashed my BMW in december and yesterday i bought a new car "Honda Civic" 91. Engine is running great and body is good, but i will get it painted as soon as possible. Also need some new wheels, and window tint. There is no stereo in car, no HU, even front speakers. Pictures.

The box is not finished yet, sorry not more pictures of the build to busy, but i still have to router the port the top and paint it, and I may even cut an inch of the box out somewhere bc it is a little to tall but we will see. Amps should be where wednesday I hope, and with them i still have to run power and ground to the back and get another battery and a new atternater but atternater will probably be the last thing i buy. This is the start of my build log for my wife's 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. I have started receiving stuff in so as I get the stuff and get it installed I will include more pics. Alpine 9886 HU Boston Accoustics SX-65 6.5's all the way around MTX Thunder Elite 1501D Mono Sub Amp Here's what i have received, Alpine V-Power 4 channel amp. 50 feet of KLMX 1/0 ga wire from KnuKonceptz KnuKonceptz RCA's And some 4 ga and 8 ga for various things with some terminals My Xcon isn't here yet I hope it will be soon but soon enough I will start putting all this together.

I'm new to the SSA forum, posting from San Antonio, TX. I recently installed a 12 inch Xcon d1 in my civic, thought I'd let you guys check it out... So far Ive installed a new head unit, sub and amp, speaker amp and 6x9's in the rear, custom trunk floor and "the big three". I've also "sound deadened" the rear deck, rear quarter panels (two door civic), rear pillars and floor with a mix of a quick roof type product, some carpet padding called hair mat and typical 3/4 in" open celled carpet foam. Unfortunately I didn't get any good pix of the deadening installation so I'll post what I have so far. Its mostly box build pix and my custom trunk floor but I'll definitely post …

I was goin to go with 2 18" or 2 15" nightshades. But I decided 6 sa 10s would be better.. but idk if i have the room.. i measured my cargo area in my cargo area in my 00 jeep GC. length= close to 52". Width= close to 29". height= i measured 17" but i could go a few inches higher. any sugg from yall?!

i got these jl 8w7's in a trade so i figued id try them out, i deisgned up a t-line box. and threw it together and im going to dropp the box in the neon to play around with till it snows and i cant drive it no more. here are some pics of the box, will grab pics of the car and the rest later on. enjoy

It's a 1995 Hyundai Excel (Accent for CAN/USA) hatch, pretty boring and poorly made car, but it's good enough to keep, cheap enough to sacrifice to be walled.
