real simple build that is semi-temporary. xmas im geting another amp so ill just have to cut a new piece of mdf and mount it up there. sorry for the crappy pics... used the camera on the phone and i worked on it at night. first i mounted a piece of mdf with bolts to the metal. next i got another piece of mdf to bring the amp rack out so it clears the rest of the rear deck. here is the mdf rack mounted on there. showing the clearance with the sub box in. Well i used to have a 90 TSi Talon AWD which i traded for this 94 Civic to do a nice lil trunk build for USACi new trunk class. But im doing this one the right way, itll have everythinggggg replaced on it by the time im done with it, started a lil dismantle last Sat. I didn't get any pictures during the process (camera was down and decided to not come on until it was all done). But the box is 3.3 cubic feet with 48 sq in of port tuned to 32 hz. This is also the first time i've ever done a kerf port, and i thought it turned out pretty good. Questions? Comments?

I just posted a small intro on the new members thread and said I was going to post my build so hear are a bunch of pictures to bring you up to speed. I was out of audio for a long minute until I found a bunch of videos on YT and it got me fired up again. The game had changed a lot since I was into it in the late nineties. i ditched some of my old equipment. the amp came in today and the sub arrives tomorrow. ill have everything put in with more pictures tomorrow and hopefully a video in a few days. only thing ive done is mount the bass knob. just wating for the sub to come in to mount the amp. i will be cleaning up all the mess by the battery because its looking rough kicker hyper flex 1/0 precision power sedona 850.1

I have a sundown scv-4000 amp, wired at one ohm. The sub's are 12" Zv4's sitting in a 4 cubic ft box, tuned at 40hz but loudest at 48hz. I have a 300 amp alternator wired with the big 3. All the wires 1\0 gauge. I have one Xs d3100 battery. Door speakers are 6 " Morels components. Rear deck are 6x9's morel components. Head unit is pioneer DEH-08prs. Vehical is 2002 KIA spectra ls. The KIA has Mojo Mat in the interior and trunk double lined on head liner. The doors are done inside and outer side. The system is hitting 141.1 on the DB's. The amp has been tuned if that makes sense? I have a few pics more to follow.

Ok Guys, Its been going on for a while, but I though it was time to put up some pictures. Just to let you guys know I dont have my own garage and most things have been imported. The problem is good gear are either redicilously exspensive or not availeble at all. First Ill start with my old setup then move on to the work in progress. Here she is in my garage. Below was how it was before. (no comments lol) It is far from perfect hence the change. It played fairly clean, and loud ..mind you it was a bit peaky though. Dont mind the words in the window. The dude wanted something different, doesnt care anything about sq really, and definately doesnt care much about spl. He just wanted it to be loud and look good doing it. Hes going to be running an orion 2500d. We hooked it up to mine tonight just after we got done and are going to have to use alot of althread, this thing flexx's like a mother. But it did turn out looking good! Just for you guys info, its an 18"

Well.....I've switched over to (2) 10'' SSA ICONS sealed from a 10'' Fi BL in 1.25ft^3@33hz. I couldn't get enough port area for a decent ported box so I was forced to ditch the BL. well it took about 2 weeks after the mazda wreck but i got a new ride.. its an 01 volvo S60 T5 .. i will be doing a single 15 at first but with my calculation im pretty sure this car will be getting 2 15s soon... hehe.. PICS TO COME..

i got these jl 8w7's in a trade so i figued id try them out, i deisgned up a t-line box. and threw it together and im going to dropp the box in the neon to play around with till it snows and i cant drive it no more. here are some pics of the box, will grab pics of the car and the rest later on. enjoy

Well figured I had better make a build log for this. I have 40ft^2 of Second Skin Damplifier coming tomorrow and I'm buying another 40ft^2 and 18ft^2 of SS Luxury Liner. I also got my comps in the day before. Rainbow Profi line 5.25" set. I went with the 5.25's b/c I want to keep the truck looking as stock as possible. I'm still debating on were to put my tweeters and the crossovers though. I'm open to any suggestions... I'll have lots of pictures through out the whole process. It will probably take me a good week plus to do it all b/c its my only vehicle and I need it for work so I will have to work small area's at a time. I'm hoping to deaden the crap out of the…

I noticed I never posted this here and thought some here who don't visit the other site may enjoy it. It's and old school RF build in my wifes Camry. She wanted all old school RF equipment because she liked the look of them when I used them in her first car in the early to mid 90s. I couldn't argue because I like their performance. I chose IB on the subs to keep as much trunk for her as possible. The only piece that isn't old school is the 3sixty. I couldn't see using a symmetry unit over the 3sixty. Symmetry was only a little less than getting the 3sixty and the 3sixty has way more flexibility. Equipment.

Brand new F-250 Super Duty King Ranch trim. I'm currently installing: Focal K2P in the front doors Focal Access 165A1s in the rear doors. I'm not so sure about the layout on the previous years, but the 2008 super duty has a 5x7 in the C pillar, and a tweeter in the rear door panel. So we are putting a enclosure in one of the storage pockets in the rear door panel to hold the access woofer, and fitting the tweeter in the stock location and eliminating the factory 5x7 in the pillar. Alpine 4.150 JL 250.1 to power a JL w3 10" woofer. I tore apart the center armrest storage compartment and fitting a sealed box for the w3, the 10" woofer just barely fits in the compartment a…

Beh so I said time to upgrade finally from 2 15 to 4 15. Install is in a nissan pathfinder 1995. The stuff going in is: 4 dc audio level 4 2 sundown 3000( gonna run 1 for now) sundown 100.2 3 Kinetik 2,400 200 amp alt probably 4 runs of 1/0 wire bye bye old system

This is a build I did last weekend for a buddy. 3.25 cubes per chamber tuned to 32hz. Kerfed port, flush mount, 45's in corners.

Last system consisted of a sundown audio 3k on 2 re Sex 10's and a sundown 125.2 on the factory door speakers. Plan is to get a sundown 50.4, alpine H701(to be run with an alpine w200) and some hertz 3 way components. Going from 10's to 12's and a forward firing box sealed off. Here is a video of the previous system Box was tuned to 30hz. Well here is the tear down and rebuild process Bye Bye Blew 1 10 last week and put a cover over the hole so I could still have some tunes for the time being.
