Well, this summer was going to be my time to, "complete," basically meaning upgrade, my build from last summer. Unfortunately, and fortunately at the same time, due to a few complications, I'm going deeper into audio than I had anticipated. I'm a newly added member of a team, Team Megaloud, based out of Texas, and will be, at the end of my build, utilizing a few of their amps. My wife wrecked my town car. There's $5k in damage, almost enough to total it. So I took the check, and it's for sale for 3k on craigslist as a driver. I replaced it with something more fun. 06 Pontiac GTO I found on eBay. Here's a pic I took an hour north of Fresno, CA on the 13 hour drive back to Portland, OR. It's a one owner with 27k. So far I've bought a Diablosport Predator tuner, a Vararam OTRCAI, and tinted the windows. Other than the stereo I'm going to try to keep the mods to a minimum(it's 400 from the factory). Well the time has come for me to go ahead and show some progress with the truck. This thing has been through hell and back with me from repairing the lower intake manifold to having its fair share of abuse from low tuning. The first setup consisted of 3 18's on 2 AQ 2200's strapped with a single XS D3100 in the back for support. Let's just say this didn't work and had me reconing the subs. Best recorded score of the 3 18's before blowing them. Sadly, I bought an alternator that was actually sitting in the backseat at the time I was giving a demo and blew the subs. Unfortunate for me, it was a fuckin Tenney that didn't work! It looked nice and legit though.…

Car is a '94 Buick Roadmaster. Purchased it about 2 years ago. Spent the 1st summer deadening the car, and last summer I just didn't have much time to get things done. Goal is to have a stereo finally installed in it this year! Have a little road trip coming up on June 22nd, and I would really like to at least have it playing music before then. Between work, the gym and my kids' evening activities I don't have much free time so that is quite a challenge. Not starting from scratch here. I figured I might as well start a build log on this one as it will be my first build that has some effort put into it and not just slapping things together to get something that sounds like music. This is my daily driver and will probably be ever-changing. For now, I am trying to keep it simple and as close to factory as I reasonably can. 22" VCT Scarface plastidipped and wrapped in 305/45 rubber. 2" drop in the rear with Bilsteins all around. This is my 1st build on a forum I will be going to get my car meter before I start the build. And was wondering should 6 pwx 6.5, 2 pwx 8"and 4FT1 go together or the crescendo cz 5.25 2 sets and 4 pwx 6.5 once I make the choice than I will start the build.
