I have been looking around for one of these (either a 200 or 240a) for a while and havnt come up with anything. i really dont want to go through finding someone to rebuild my stock one. any help would be appreciated.

My search online and in person has not been too good, so i was wondering if any of you guys could refer me to a person, website, or shop if it's close to the Raleigh/Durham area in North Carolina. I need some input from anybody that might know, I purchased an aftermarket alternator for my 2009 dodge ram 5.7. I sold the truck and now I have a 2012 dodge ram 5.7. My question for anyone who knows is; will the electrical system of the new ram (2012) handle the aperage and extra voltage (300 amps @ 15.3 volts) ? Also, I got the self excite module to boost voltage to 15.3 volts. This will be the only alternator in the truck. Thanks for any help!

what are some good high output alternators for a 2010 nissan altima. I dont want to do any electrical damage with an aq2200d and two bl 12's so i finally decided to buy a ho alternator around 300amps

I just put an MTX 704 in my truck for the speakers and a Kicker ZX300.1 for the 2 8" subs. My question is, the 704 has buttons to turn the high pass and low pass filters on/off, which should be on and which should be off? I tink I currently have the high pass on and the low pass off. After months of dealing with pioneers terrible customer service, one tech finally tells me that there was supposed to be a four foot usb extension capable of carrying the video signal from my iphone to the unit in the box. Unfortunately, even though ive been dealing with them since january, they wont send me one on them becuase its been over thirty days since i bought it. Anyways... I really need one longer anyways. It needs to be able to carry the signal and be at least 12 ft long. Any ideas?

ok everyone, i have a 02 nissan with a fi bl 18 running on a zeus 3000 watt i have the amp turned down barely over half right now i want to upgrade my eletrical so i can turn my amp up i have about 300 dollars right now what is the first thing i need to get?

My voltage is dropping down to 12.4 at high volume this is off an 180 amp alt with three battery in the back (kinetik 2@2400 & 1@1400). The 12.4 is at the amp and my voltage at the front battery drops to about 12.9 & 13. Would i gain any dbs if i upgrade to a bigger alt? I have been thinking about upgrading for awhile now just wanting to know if I'll see any diffference to justifly the upgrade. I am running an audioque 3500d (the old one) @ 1 ohm.

School me a bit here, if your running a higher input voltage say going from 12/14 to 16, is it easier on the amp to run a lower ohm load? or does it depend on the amp generally. kinda just trying learn a little more about how amps work. about to buy a new alt and batts here soon, thinking about doing a separate 16v system for my bass amp. (two alts, stock, and a 16/18v) and was wondering if i would be able to run the ohm load down a little more? im a noob obviously so flame me if you must, just trying to get some info. thanks for any input.

So I picked up a pair of Hertz Hsk165's and need some help with choosing an amp. Amp will be ran off of a kenwood 8120. I have about 400 to spend... but I wouldn't mind spending less. Hi, i'm in the market for a HO alt for my Hyundai Excel Australian spec, which has proved difficult, to say the least. I was opting for around 220-250A, running to a stock calcium battery, which doesn't do too bad actually, and 2 Stinger SPV70's, which'll be used to push a saz-3500D, (unsure of the sub/s atm) and a sax 100.4 (hopefully), for a daily driver, @ 1 ohm (the 3500D ), with the possibility of taking it to some comps. I'm pretty sure my stock 70 amp alternator wont keep pace with those loads. My wanderings through this sub-forum led me to two brands in particular, after investigating most of them. I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.7L V6 and it comes stock with a 90amp alt BUT Im pretty sure if im running 2 15in Fi BL's ill need one right? I bought a Soundstream 1000amp hybrid capacitor but I dont know it that wil be enough if im running those speakers on the Kicker zx2500.1. Just checking with yall to see and make sure... dont wanna mess up anything you know? If you guys think ill still need one do you have any suggestions? So I finally got my 200a alt installed, but something odd happened when bumping now, I get more dimming, occasionally the amp protects for a moment then cut back on, but my battery voltage is on average higher. I was wondering if the former was due to me having only done the big two, as I have direct power and ground lines; the other, I mean, I think I had it gained a little high and now that it has what it needs, it's clipping like crazy trying to balance with the Sony signal. Im gonna order a ho alt for my 08 yukon but i wont have the $$ for batts till june..my stock alt craped out so i need the ho on there to run the truck. My question is if its ok to only have one battery? I wont fry it? Im buying a 300a+ alt.
