i got 2 RE HC 12s, i have em in a 6 cubed box tuned to 31 hz, wit a mtx 1501d powerin both. I think i hooked them up wrong or something, Cuz my rearview mirror dont even vibrate. and my friend can do that wit 500 watts. i used the wiring wizard at rockford fosgates site running it on 1/0 gauge wire http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiri...x=21&image.y=13. personally, i believe that i should have hooked each speaker to a different speaker output on my amp. what would happen to the rf t1500-1bd amp if connected to 8 ohms, reason is that im waiting for sum subs, and while waiting, i would like to try the new amp, but the subs would be a pair of kicker C10 single 4ohm, temporary until 10" chaos come home thanks Irvin

Alright so I had a nine.1 I bought used. Worked great for a couple months then all 4 fuses would blow on it. So I sent it to eD under warranty. Finally recieved one back after like 3 months of waiting. Installed the amp, worked for about 5-10 minutes then did the same thing. The amp was extremely hot to the touch also. eD wasn't much help so I decided to say fudge it and I purchased a used SAZ-1500D from Jacob which should be arriving Monday. well i was examining my alternator today, and this is the one im gonna send in for exessive amperage to mod. the area circled in red is the place where the wiring harnesses goes to connect to everywhere and it doesnt look like i can run 1/0 gauge, and if i keep the stock wire, for sure it will catch fire. Comments, ideas?

So i currently have an aq2200 and i am wanting to get more power. So i was thinking about selling or trading my current amp for either a crescendo bc3500 or an aq3500. But i was thinking maybe i should just buy another aq2200 and strap them. Only thing is i have no clue on how to do this and would not want to mess things up. Is it hard to strap amps and would it be worth to strap them?

Ok guys I'm looking for some advice towards the two topics as stated in the title. I'm running a sundown Sae-1200d and an FI bl 18". Currently stock alt , stock batt, all 1/0 ga wire and batt neg to chassis ground in 1/0. Hey guys, I'm having trouble on deciding what amp would be best for this sub. The Me10.2 is a 10" DVC 2 ohm driver rated at 700W RMS, and I will probably run it at 4 ohms in a sealed enclosure ~1 cu ft. Whats a good value amp would you recommend that can run ~600W RMS @ 4 ohm load on stock electrics? Or should I run this sub at 1 ohm? Thanks, Lucas

I'm currently in the process of designing/setting up my first system. I currently have a pioneer deh-p690ub head unit but haven't been able to figure out all of its features yet. Can i have an active front stage with this headunit? I have a set of focal 6.5 V2 polyglass components, not installed, but i'm thinking about returning them to tweeter because after browsing through the threads here I'm sure i can get a better front stage for the money. Any input would be helpful, thanks.

Im not even sure what my stock alternator is I want to say 85A, I have big 3 with 1/0 and with my 1500 watt amp with moderate gains I drop to 10v or so under heavy pounding, with severe dim. Is this alternator an adequate upgrade, or should I save up and hunt down a slightly better one... I dont think i can afford more than $200 however. If I did get this do I need any other upgrades? I just installed an avionixx 440.4 amp into my rsx and I am hearing 'static' distortion coming through all my speakers. The distortion, though slight, 'plays' along with each note of the song if that makes any sense to anyone. I was thinking of adding a noise suppressor but I am not sure if that would be another waste of money. hi, i am looking at batteries i am wondering which would be better. kinetic or powermasteror stinger , this is for under the hood and the biggest kinetic i can get is the hc1400 ( because of height) and the biggest powermaster that i can fit is either the PWM-D2400 but if i go with the powermaster would it still be ok to have like the hc2400 in the back or should i go with 2 PWM-D3100 it is going to be a 3k rms system i belive. also i i was looking at stinger's battery too since they are short. my max height is like 8.3" the powermaster's push it then there is the 1400 then stingers are like 7" ( i have to remeasure to see what stinger can fit. also though how big of a b…

Okay, let me start off by saying I've installed a countless number of CD players in cars. This is the first one I've had trouble with, and also my first Pioneer. I bought an 880 off of ebay a while back for about $200. I initially installed it in Octoberish. It would work fine when I normally had the car running, but when I switched my lights on it would cut in and out every second. I attributed this to a couple of wires being switched. (The first wiring diagram I had was wrong.) Well I eventually got this fixed by switching the two wrong wires. My CD player would now work with lights on and off. How many ampere's should 1/0 be fused to? im thinking 200a just to be safe because if my stock charging system exceeds that something is wrong.
