Right now my setup is(see sig) and I have BAD voltage problems. I believe my problem is that I have a 2ga wire from the front battery to the back(came with the car,to lazy to change it) where I branched 3 runs of 4ga wire off it to my 3 amps. Now I was wondering if I ran 1 or 2 runs of 1/0ga from the front to the back would that cure my problem?

I recently bought a motorcycle battery, to power a small kenwood 4ch amp. It is rated for 12v/160ca/12aH What is a decent budget charger? I was looking at the Kinetic Three-stage, but i don't have $109 Could i use a regular car charger on the 2amp charge setting?

Right now I'm running 4g cable from battery to my amp. I'm getting ready to do the big 3 with 1/0 cable, but my amp terminals are only 4/0.. is there some sort of adapter that I can use to be able to run the 1/0 into this amp? I need about 4 of these.. 2 for in line fuse (only 4/0 as well), 1 for 12v on amp, and 1 for ground from amp. I'm getting rid of my cap after this upgrade so no need for adapters on it.

to run two kicker cvx DVC 4 ohm speakers (will be running them at 1 ohm). looking to spend between 300-350$ if anyone has any other amps they might suggest. Thanks!

im buying a fuse holder from knu and it takes 3 mini anl i ordered it with 300a's but i wanted to buy some for extra but i cant fine anywhere that carries them.? anyone got an idea?

i just did the big 3 on my car and the question is the power coming from the alternator to the battery do i need to put a fuse there or not? i left the stock wire intact from the alt to the bat because if i cut it i wouldn't be able to see if my alt is failing or not since it wouldn't be going through the fuse box!! now if i put a big fuse between the wire and still have the other stock fuse in the fuse box there will it mess up anything? or should i just leave it like it is?

Gonna be using this for my sub amp, probably on a new eclipse sw8000 10" until my Diyma 12" comes in.

Was drivin around testin out new speakers and was turning up the volume, and when it hit 29/35 everything just shut off. So i figured I blew a fuse. I checked the fuse box numerous times and the fuses are all fine. Took out the HU cuz a buddy said there was a fuse behind it... nothing... I have no clue where to go from this point.

AB 4ch amps for SQ purpose? which is over the other? overall performance...

Hi guys, I have an older Orion 8004 (circa 2003) that has a rather odd wiring setup. I'm not sure, but I think the remote turn-on power is the connector on the far left - with the one bank of speaker connectors. Notice the power connectors on the other side. whats the opinions on the newer MB Quart amps. i know galamonkey uses them and ive seen alot of others with them. Im wondering if they share the same boards as the autotek mean machines. they seem very similar, especially being that they are both crappsonics brands. they are tempting bc you know the name used to be good and you can get them for so cheap on ebay.

Hi, I will be doing 2 15" Icon build on a crescendo BC2000D etc in a Dakota crew cab and have two nice decks in my possession. a Kenwood KDC-bt945u and a Clarion VZ401 DVD deck. Ive done a lot of researching on pre-out voltage but have seen so many opinions to as if it really does make a huge difference or not. Basically the Kenwood has 4v preouts and the Clarion has 2v. I like both decks but would love to have the dvd screen but not at a major loss of output or sound quality. My question is, will I notice a difference or should I go with the Clarion? Thanks,

Hey all, I'm looking for a 1.5 DIN bluetooth capable deck. I haven't been able to find anything online, my local shop said they have them but I would rather get a nice internet deal first. hey guys... I have 2 1000.4 's going to my front doors . they have been sounding great, nice and clear and no distortion. I have been having some ground problems lately and had to drill a new ground. After that they were back to sounding clear and crisp. Now about a week later all the static and distortion came back to the point were I almost cnt even hear the music. I checked the ground and the ground is good. i checked the rca'a and there fine. ( I do have a few splits on my rca's and those were fine as well). The xtant is a 3 channel amp 75x2 + 150x1 at 4ohms or 150x2 + 300x1 at 2 ohms. The system is going in a Ford 350 dully. The doors have 6x9's. My original thought was to run ID's 2ohm 6.5 comps in the front and doing nothing in the back doors. Then running a single IDQ 10" or 12". Also thought of running 2 sets of 4ohm comps or coaxials in front and back doors. I haven't decided on a HU yet. Mainly just looking for one more geared for SQ and one that will run an ipod. I have plenty of time on this build and am not commited to anything but the xtant 603x. Any thought's would be appreciated.

Ive got a 15" SSD with the flatwind coil option. Just wanting to know what amp would be better, and if the audio que puts out more than 870 @ 2ohm

Ok my subs are set to never really pop or clip unless you put alot of gain up i have my gain set right according to the dmm set at 43 volts Running a sundown 1500d at 1.5 - 2 ohms. Well i know its not the subs they can take a harder beating by mean turning the gain up higher just distorting them a lil bit so thats not the problem. The popping seems to only happen when on the highway with all windows down doesnt do it when in the city with windows down. So what is the problem here? I have the volume the same spot on samg song in the city and nothing happens. Can someone help me out with this.
