I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE, I have 5,000 Rms in amps, and I Need help, Where can I get or order a Good Quality High Output Alternator, and have no more problems? Thank you.

I have a sundown x10 d4 in a 2.0ft^3 box tuned to 31 hertz. I have been searching for an amp to run this sub for the past 2 months and can't come up with anything on a budget. My budget is about 400$ and I would like to put 1500 rms on the sub at 2 ohms. I have a second alternator to just power my system it's just your average 150 amp with a run of 1/0 sky high to a xs power 975. Anyone have any suggestions for an amp?

My friend has a 2004 Kicker L7 8. He needs an amp for it. It is DVC 4 ohm. He wants to put around 750-1000 watts on it. He also doesn't want to spend a lot of money. I have tried to find a good amp for that price, but its hard to get full power with that vc configuration.

I will be getting a sundown Sa-8 here when they ship out. I need a amp i was looking at the Rockford prime r500 ,but i dont know if its going to hit them low lows. the box will be 1.2 cuft tuned to 35hz aero port. DOES ANYONE know of a good amp for it UNDER 175 dollars?

well my 160a2 rockford amp is not working so i opened it up and found that a resistor was blown it was brown around the area it was in. I think i can fix it but i dont now what part it is i need there are so many different resistors. The one on the amp has four band the out side ones are like a brown gold color and the middle ones are some dark color.

I need an amp to push 2 12 re se's. I want to give them at least 1k rms @ 1 ohm. I dont realy wanna spend more than 300 either. One amp ive been looking @ is the AQ1200D but im open to other ideas as ive never used anything from audioque. Thanks

I have a Mustang which equals no trunk. I have 2 Audiofonic 12s in a ported box in my backseat. They are rated at 1200W max but we all know thats a lie. I am looking for a mono amp to power these until I find a 15 that will fit in the trunk. I have looked at kenwood KAC-X1R, hifonics 1608d, and a few others. My budget it 300 max. What amp(s) would run 18 Fi BTLs to the max? Trying to keep it around $1000 give or take. I was looking at the Hifonics XXV Goliath, but I am still not sure. What do you think?

hey, i have 2 12" sundown SA'12's soon to be 4 or 6 in total. they are all dual 2 ohm subs, i wanted to know if any 1 has any suggestions for a amp that will give at least 2000-2500 RMS @ .5 ohms or 2 ohms and no more than $400 plus shipping. let me know if you have something your selling under these terms and or let me know if you know any amps that are able of doing the job for my system. thanks

I just finished my box for 4 8" sundowns. Its a big center console box for my single cab ranger. Its 2.4 cu. ft (after displacement) and is ported @ 34hz. I'll post pics up soon. BUt im gonna order the subs this week and am im looking for an amp to push them. What should i get as far as a amp/s?

I need an amp for my 15 Icon.It is in a (about)4ft3 ported enclosure.(wired @ 4 Ohms now, but it can change). I am thinking about a Sundown 1000 or 1500, or a Clarion DPX 11500. I did not find a lot of informations about the Clarion, and everybody here loves Sundown. I will probably upgrade to a 15" or 12" Xcon, so I should look for a 1500 watts rms amplifier. What do you guys think? I would like to play at 2 Ohms with the future sub, and at 4 ohms now : so the Clarion looks like the good choice. It seems like very few people have it here. Why? Need to buy 3 amp or 2 strap amp or one big amp

I just ordered a 1200rms amp from Hifonics, then, on sale I found another hifonics amp of the same class and everything on sale for the same price, but its 1700rms! The 2 subs im running will take 400-500rms each, so I know the amp is overpowered, but should I cancel my order and get the 1700rms??? I wont lose anything, I just need to know if the amp is too powerful? I would like to save the amp for a future more powerful setup. I have a 2000 mustang, and I only play music while the car is turned on, will the 1700 amp be too much to start my car? or will I notice any difference in power even if I keep everything turned down to only be pushing about 800-1000rms??? hey everyone, i have an 18" fi btl and i was wondering what amp you would suggest? i was thinking about the Hifonics BXI 2010D, im running it at one ohm. also my buddy has a 10 farad power acoustik capacitor..are they any good? this is all goin into a 1992 Chev caviler..will a yellow top battery be enough of a upgrade or should i get a high output alternator? lastly, what does it mean to have a box tuned to a certain amount of Hz? is it like port size? Hi SSA Members, Im looking to do a single battery in the trunk of my 1997 chevy cavalier, i will be running a single aq3500 with a single 12" Fi Audio BTL. now i already have a high output alternator that does 200 amps max and 90-100 at idle. and i have a battery up front (yellow top) that will go away so i conform to the rules of DB drag of a single 650 cu inch battery. now all i need is the battery. The only one ive seen so far that i think meets the rule is the Kinetic HC2000. But im not an electrical mastermind and quite frankly i have no idea how to get a good electrical system going. so i need a battery, and maybe some hints as to how to do the single battery in …

ok so I installed my singer 250 alt amp and did the big 3 using knu 1/0 ofc. . the volts with nothing on stays at 14.6. I can turn it up full tilt and it ranges from 13.8 - 14.1.. So my question is why do my headlights still dim? It's not on every song either. I can play tech n9ne so dope or TI on purpose and its perfectly fine. I can play something with alot less bass like lil wayne god bless America and it looks like a light show. Am I going to have to break down and install a couple batteries or what? trying to avoid it because im running out of room. oh, im running a 12 inch zcon on a crescendo bc3500

Im not even sure what my stock alternator is I want to say 85A, I have big 3 with 1/0 and with my 1500 watt amp with moderate gains I drop to 10v or so under heavy pounding, with severe dim. I'm looking for a HU with a super clean look that has a decent amount of EQ capability, can take an aux source (planning on installing a carputer) plays cd's and has some good bass management.
