I'm assuming this will work with all other car dvd players that are wired to where you must be in park and have the hand brake applied twice before video will appear. OK, this is what it can do- The purpose of the safety feature is to not show video while in drive.... however, a glitch in my Alpine allows to show video while i'm driving and only shuts it off when the brake is pressed so for road trips, , you need not a video bypass. I guess i've decided to get a new battery, and need to know what is adequate and still cheap for my system... I have a clarion 1500 watt amp and stock battery under the hood in a 2000 honda accord. If I run a second battery to the trunk is a kinetik hc800 enough to get the job done(stay above at least 11v) or do I need more and who makes the best cheap batteries? My local shop has a used stinger sp1700 out of their demo van for only 200, that may be the way to go but im hoping to spend less if possible Please and thanks for replies

Im not even sure what my stock alternator is I want to say 85A, I have big 3 with 1/0 and with my 1500 watt amp with moderate gains I drop to 10v or so under heavy pounding, with severe dim. Is this alternator an adequate upgrade, or should I save up and hunt down a slightly better one... I dont think i can afford more than $200 however. If I did get this do I need any other upgrades? Okay so I'm trying to get a estimate of how much wattage I can safely put out without harming my amp's by the voltage dropping. I have a relatively small car, it has a 70 amp alt and I'm not sure about the battery. I was originally going to just run 1000watts on stock electrical but I figured if I upgrade my electrical I can go a little bit bigger. Now lets say I do the big 3 on my little car and I add a deep cycle battery in the back for the amp, how many more watts would I be able to run? And one more thing when you have a voltmeter what is the danger zone in volts? I think it was 11?

So i know hifonics isnt the best of companies, but ive heard mixed opinions about the 2008 brutus amp lineup as to whether or not it does rated power, I was wondering if anyone knows for sure what they output(specifically the 1608) or has any birth sheets/ done any bench testing. i got 2 amps (soon to be 3) and one of those things with the flashy light... i think they call it a cap.... forget what the does... but anyways. ive always heard that you should ground to the same location but its getting harder to mount all the components close enough that i can reach a common ground location. amps: kenwood excelon (600rms for the sub), kicker 250.2, (adding second 2 channel or 4 channel amp after xmas) Questions? 1) can i ground to different locations? if so how? 2) does the ground wire have to be like 18" long or less? can it be more? if i use a ground distro is there a max length in this application? 3) do you need more info on the install?

I've got a question for all of you in-the-know...... Running a couple of old-school Celestion AD15H's in my Tahoe, 'glassed in the rear corners after cutting out the inner rocker panels. Approximately 2.4cu ft each, with a 3"x8 1/2" port. I know these are rated at 600w RMS, but I'm pushing them with a Lightning Audio S4.500.1 at 2 ohms - supposedly putting out 250 watts to each sub, but sounds like it's making way more power than that - I'd guess closer to 400 watts to each sub, if not more. is it bad to run your amps during the winter

Ok so I am looking into suggestions for 1. Good headunit for 2 way active set up 2. Amplifier for front stage to power (2)seasl22 8 ohm & (2) peerless hds tweeters 8 ohm 1a. Looking into alpine 9887 and eclipse cd7200, trying to stay away from pioneer after several problems in the past. 2a. I was wondering if anyone had an expeirence with the new ARC amps. I'm pretty sure its the KAR series its a mini amp. 125.2 or 125.4 and its like 8"x4"x2" or something like that. Its super small. I recently purchased the saz 1500D and last night as i was driving, my sub stopped playing and i heard a loud thud type sound right before it quit working. I checked the amp and the fuse were all blown. I replaced them with more and turned it back on. it took a second but my lights started to dim in my car then the fuses popped still. Everything being powered by the same power line is fine there is nothing wrong with anything else. What do you think the problem is. I believe its a factory problem

Ok I just got my hifonics brutus 1600 mono amp, and I have a 13w7 (my sig). Its wired in series right now for a 3ohm load. Can I wire to .75 with this amp? Should I just push it at 3ohms? Using as a daily driver so I dont go too hard on it. Opinions? How much ouput would I get out of this?

looking to put two more subs in my auto. currently i'm running each sub to a Pheonix Gold Ryval 1000w. i'm looking to only be running 2 subs total on all 4 subs.... what do you recommend?

Hey guys. I got an Orion 2500D and a Critical Mass UL12. The CM UL12 is DVC (1.5ohm). The shop set it up at 3 ohms, so with the gain just under clipping, it sounds decently loud, but nowhere near as loud as I wanted it (somewhere like 1400-1500 my guess). I was so disappointed I wanted to go 2 CM UL12's with a Memphis 4k Mojo, so I purchased a HO alt from Excessive Amperage (200A). Decided to wire the Orion down to .75 while I waited, just to see how my electrical holds up. Well, the gain is down MUCH farther than it was wired at 3 ohm, and it hits harder, but now, my lights dim like crazy where it never did before. Is it the inefficiency of the amp at .75 that's c…

im adding a kinetik 2400 hc in the back. i have a duramaxx 900 in the front do i need a isolater cause i keep reading on here u do and some people say u dont what should i do?

i got a kicker kx250.2 and a kenwood excelon x10d. the kenwood is a class d and fan cooled while the kicker is a class ab. is it ok to mount these upside down to my rear deck. im trying workout a place to hide them easily. any other idea's would be appreciated. car is oldsmobile intrigue. let me know if u need more info.
