I have heard several people say that Class D amps are not good full range. I agree that a Mono sub amp is not made to work at over ~250 hz. However I have seen several high end companies making them for home theater. (And not as an entry level product) Crown now uses this in their XLS series pro audio amps, again a full range product. So I found a Class D car amp, and I'm interested if anyone has used it. The Incriminator Audio 6.4 4-channel amplifier, sold on this site! How does this compare to a class a/b amp? Are there trade offs for going to the type of amp? I'd think that the efficiency would make it much easier on your electrical system. If anyone has used this, wha…

  4. I was planning on buying 4 of the C&D High Rate 100 lb batteries for my car. They do something like 140 aH. I can get them for under $200 shipped each. I was looking into the d3100 batteries along with other batteries which are almost double the price. How much of a difference is there between the C&D batteries and say the d3100? Is it worth the extra $700 total I would have to spend? I am powering 4 of the saz1500s, 1 100.4, and 1 120.2. I have a 260 amp alternator. Let me know what you think.

Ok first you need. 1.ps2 or other gaming system. 2. monitor 3. power converter 4. some supplies from radio shack. Video--- Ok so we all know the ps2 has male rca's right. So my monitor in particular has one male rca that is for the video in. So i had to go to radio shack and get a double sided female rca connector to get the screen to work. So thats how the video is hooked up. Sound-- This can be tricky depending on your radio. Some radios have an auxilary input for tvs and such, so if you have this just connect the red and white rcas to you radios auxilry input. Mine doesn't I have a tape player and I also have a portable cd player, so i have the tape that plays the cd …

Well, a friend told me the other night he had some amps sitting around that he has never used really, so I asked him what he had and he replied with, "power acoustik stuff." Now, I was a little skeptical at first but I decided to look anyways. Well, come to find out one of the amps he had sitting around was a PA A2400DB so I jumped on that. He only wants 200 for it and it comes with original box, packaging, the works. Hooked it up to my Ti and MAN does it make a world of difference having this over my old amp. The Ti is really showing its true colors with this amp. My ears are starting to hurt now that I've been driving around with it. It's also nice to have a SSF o…

I have a 2008 Silverado Single Cab and am getting a Single 10" SSA Icon and would like to buy a Planet Audio RXD1400 to push it at 2 Ohms. It will be giving it 1000Watts at 2 Ohms. Will stock electrical be sufficient? I also have 4 Gauge wiring which isn't to long due to truck being a single cab. What gauge wire should I use for speaker inputs?
