what will be the best amp but not so pricey to power 2 Fi Bl 15" i wanna spend around 300-400 or maybe hook up to 1000 watt amps? dunno post some sugestions

Ive been looking at this amp to power my 2 12" 1ohm Fi Q's. I am on a budget and this amp looks good for the money. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this amp. I was looking at the Hifonics 2006d before this one, but i hear its terrible so im trying to go in a different direction. Thanks, Ben

Does anybody know where I could find some free wiring diagrams for installing car stereos? I install a lot of aftermarket cd-players for my friend because he owns a car lot and having a website that would show me what is what would really speed things up. I am about to put in a DVD screen into a 2001 Caddilac Deville and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find the diagram for the speakers wire colors. Any help will be appreciated. thanks

I have a crossover/eq and a petra full range crossover.I have to much midrange and has to much mid in the speakers.Can i use my eq to controll my mids.

I need some help finding out the models of Boss Audio amps that ZED audio built back in 1997 - 2000. Been searching on and off for a little bit, but was just wondering if anyone might know off hand. And yes I already called Boss, waiting for one last guy to call back.

This seems like such a simple question, but I can't find the answer. What are the advantages and disadvantages between two different amps that put out the same out of power but at different resistances? Mainly looking for answers on a more technical level, like which will put less strain on my electrical system or which is thermally/mechanically better for the subwoofer. I have a Fi SSD 10, D2 and copper coil, and I'm looking for a 1000w amp to power it.

has anyone had expeirience with these or the 4000 what are the + and- to them? Are they power hungery compaired to other amps in the same power class? Thanks MC

the resistor sit between the coil and the 12 capacitors thats in the location number r501 on the board if someone has a hc100 please look at it and tell me it should be easy to see being its a plexiglass bottom damn us amp wont tell me they wanted me to send it in but yeah whatever there goes a bad reference for a authorized us amp dealer so i guess we arent gonna do business with them after all please let me know anyone with a hc 100 made in 1999 and maybe other years too

Hi. This is my second post and, if you read my first post, i'm sure you know I am not that great with the car audio stuff yet. But I am putting together a system, but I am going to stick with the Monsoon Head Unit that I have in my 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT. I was just wondering what could I buy that could add more RCA inputs/outputs for my system? I am going to need at least three or four pairs. Is there a product that is made just to hook up into your car to allow you to add more RCA jacks? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Still looking for a 4 channel amp to run an active setup in my friends car. Planning on running SEAS 27TFFNC Tweet and CA18RNX. I saw these amps and thought I should get some opinions from you guys. Here they are. Soundstream TRA960.4 MB Q RAB 450 PP A600/4 All of these amps are around $250 -325 and is the budget for amps as of now. Are there any other choices that would be better in this price range?

hi, i am wondering which amp would be better, i will be running my front stage with one of the other and it will be active but the processor will be my hu ( alpine cda 9887). ok here are the choices: new Eclipse Xa4000 bought online so an iffy warrenty. or a B stock sax100.4b that the bottom of the amp is slightly dented but has a 1 year warrenty with sundown.

Hey guys im looking to try out the maxx link but i have a question for ya. Im gonna be running 4 kicker zx2500.1 amps and 2 18in Btl dual 1 ohm subs. The zx amps are 2 ohm stable and i was wondering if there is any possible configuration to have the amps see a 2ohm load once strapped. Also would i be better without the maxx link and running each amp to each coil? What ohm loads could i see there. thanks

okay i have 2 mtx ta81001 amps straped....@ 4ohms it does 2000 rms .... because i have a D2 btl that is the only safe way i can run it..... my friend has an orion 2500d the silver one with the endcaps..... should i sell my amps and get his...i have meterd with my current setup and did 140.4 on the tl there is a comp this weekend and they are gonna use an ac mic... now i was planing on dropping the sub to one ohm for the burp....but i know that its not safe as those amps arent half ohm stable....should i get his amp? plus an advantage to having his is less headache dealing with one amp...... here are the specs im looking @ 2500d 2500rms @1ohm 81001 1500rms@1ohm x2 = not s…

This will take over the duties of powering my front stage. The 2100-XXK that's in there right now is doing fine, but the Germaniums seems like it wants a bit more power....so a bit more power they shall get. The 2100-XXK rated at 100 x 2 @ 4 ohm, the 4150-XXK when bridged will do 320 x 2. (Don't think I'll send THAT much power to them though, but it's good to have some headroom) Not sure if I'm going to use this lil guy. If anything I'll just put it on the 1500-XXK that's powering my sub.

I went on crutchfield and read a FAQ for multi amp and it said this You'll need a relay on the turn-on lead to protect your receiver. A relay connected to the power antenna lead draws little current from the receiver, but supplies enough power to turn on all your amps simultaneously. Since I dont have a power antenna I assume I could connect it to the ignition, but why cant I just do like how I want and splice the remote wire to the other amps? Ive never heard of using a relay for this. AND does anyone know of a site where I can browse hi output alternators?

I need a new amp for my SI Mag. I had a Massive P1000.1 amp running it that does 880W @ 1ohm, but that amp is now powering my newly fixed Adire Brahma MKIII that Fi reconed for me and instead of getting a new amp for the Brahma, I'm thinking about getting one for the Mag. Now here lays the Problem. I'm down to these: Sundown SAE-1000 (1000W @ 1 ohm) - because I know Sundown is high quality. Massive P1500.1 (1250W @ 1 ohm) - because I've never had a problem with the P1000.1 in the year I've used it. and Hifonics BXi1206D (1200W @ 1 ohm) - largely because it's easy on the wallet. i have been trying to decide between these for a while. since i'm new here i thought i'd see what you guys perfer. 1)pioneer avic d3 - almost bought this one. i like pioneer, love how it looks, don't care about the single slot since i don't care about nav. the 2v preout thing killed it though. 2)eclipe avn5510 - the only thing that keeps me from buying this is thinking i can get something just as good for cheaper. 3)jvc kw-avx800 - the underdog. features look great, don't care about nav, the price is right. but its a jvc... thoughts/suggestions?

I'm looking for a HU with a super clean look that has a decent amount of EQ capability, can take an aux source (planning on installing a carputer) plays cd's and has some good bass management. I have a kicker l7 2ohm, its wired for a 4ohm load, so should i pick an amp with 750w RMS at 4ohms? does anyone have some suggestions? Thanks

Hey I'm looking at 2 MA Audio Amps... on this amp it has a sub sonic, bass boost, LPF, and GAIN I know i turn down the bass boost, and the GAIN all the way down while setting gain.... but do i need to turn down the sub sonic and the LPF? and what exactly is LPF.. thank you!@

Okay guys, i have a Fi 15" BTL with cooling, 3rd magnet, and hixmax coil with the dual 2 ohm. its the in a 6.5 foot ported enclosure, only 5 feet though after port and sub displacement. Its tuned to 39 Hz and is 1" all the way around with a 1.75" front face. Its also got internal bracing so im not worried about the sub blowing apart the box in any means. I am looking to spend around $500 at the most on an monoblock. I was looking at the hifonics BXi2607d which is 2600 RMS at 1 ohm, but i keep hearing bad things about hifonics and not so sure if i want to go that route anymore.
