looking to put two more subs in my auto. currently i'm running each sub to a Pheonix Gold Ryval 1000w. i'm looking to only be running 2 subs total on all 4 subs.... what do you recommend?

So i just put a new battery on my wifes yukon like 6 months ago...and i turn it on now and the voltage drops very rapidly..i turn on just the switch with the truck off and the voltage goes from 12.3 down to 10.6v is it the battery or is my alternator not charging it right? Its the stock 160a alt...

well im saving for a new head unit, my old jvc is not reading my mp3 cds well, the remote wire is burnt, and does not have a direct connection for my ipod i was think about getting a kenwood(http://www.crutchfield.com/s_113KDCX595/Kenwood-Excelon-KDC-X595.html?search=kenwood+car+stereo) but found this jvc with a monitor and gps, but is refurbished(http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9842_JVC-KD-NX5000-R-B.html) which one would be better, it is going on a 2000 silverado, and my interior lights is blue, just in case

I'm looking for a good HU that ranges from $100-200 and plays music via bluetooth with excellent sound. I have a 15" Rockford Fosgate T1 sub and a RF 300W 2 CH T3002 amp. I still need to replace both my front and back speakers. I love bass so I'm looking for a radio that has no problem with a lot of it.

aight so i will be getting two 12 DSS Ethos in oct.. they are 1,800 watts RMS.. there is two so could i get a 3,000 watt amp for them or will i need to get a 3,500 watt amp?? also i only have about 650$ to spend on a amp which sucks.. any thoughts on what i should do? i kno i will be needing to get a second battery and a better battery for under the hood.. i never really had much of a system.. i only have two 10's now and a Hifonics BE1700.1 for the 10's and a alpine 4 channel for my door spearkers.. this will be my first time upgrading my electrical.. will i need to get a better alternator or can i just rock the 2 better batterys.. my new build will be the two 12 Ethos.…

I would like to know about all the different RCA cables like 2 channel, 4 channel, and 6 channel What goes best with a Sundown Audio Monoblock Amp and one sub? I plan on buying a 2 gauge Tsunami Wiring kit and it only has the power, ground, and remote so I have to buy a RCA seperate and I want to make sure I don't buy the wrong one. Thanks!

Here is the situation, amp is irrelevant, here is the scene- Stock alternator, car on, over 14v at idle, starting battery up front, XS D3100 batt in the back(reads 13.0 float), so i gots plenty of battery power for this amp which requires a 200A fuse. I start to oscope the amp on a 48hz tone set to repeat. Every now and then, there would be a "THUD" sound that would quickly come from the amp. Unknown as to why but we continue to scope anyway. I do not know if it's relevant or not. Anyways, subsonic set to off, LPF set all the way up, bass boost OFF, phase 0, gain - all the way DOWN. Hey I just ordered one one these little guys dual voice coil http://www.tcsounds.com/forums/index.php?s...c=1013&st=0 I haven't had to buy an amp in a long time and dont know whats the good budget amp for now adays. I've thought about the Alpine MRD-M1005, the Hifonics ZXi1006 and even the new Phoenix Gold RSd1200.1. Whats probably my best bet from those? They can all be found for around $300, which is the price I'd like to stay at. Any other recomendations would be awesome too. Thanks to all who can help

I have 2 12" eclipse 7200s and Im looking for a replacement amp for my RF Power 800a2 Id like to throw a 1000w+ to it and have the ability to turn up the bass gain like I can with the RF Suggestions?

I've been having a small problem with my in-line fuse. at first I had a 80 amp tube fuse in a fuse holder, under the hood. One day my subwoofer stopped working, so I pulled over to see what was wrong. My fuse holder was melted with the fuse inside. So I bought a new fuse holder and put a 40 amp tube fuse in it. Then 2 days later after playing my system loud for 10-15 min. I blew another fuse. I never had this problem before. I have noticed that at times the inside of the fuse will be glowing hot. Is this normal for a fuse to glow? Anyway if anyone can tell me what can be going wrong here, let me know. I have a soundstream Tarantula TR880/2, with 4GA wire hooked up. Ibelei…

Lately its been real hot here...over 100 several times. I park my Tahoe outside in the heat and usualy only drive it on the weekends. I have an SAZ1500D. After its been sitting for a few days ill hop in there and the bass seems to be all the way up.(As if the gain knob is all the way up). Ill unplug the cable at the knob and nothing changes, I'll go to the back and disconnect it at the amp and it lowers itself back down allowing me to control it again. Real strange to me and it has only started happening since this damn heat has hit. Any idea's? I would like to think its something wrong with the knob/wire but who knows. Ive got a 105a alt and big 3 done also have a xs3400 under hood and a xs3100 on order, what else do i need to run a 3000w sub amp and a 400w high amp. Im guessing a larger alt . anyone that has ran similar or can give me help, thnx in advance

Which one sounds the best to you? No dvd players or navigation systems... just regular 1/2 din cd players

I have an AudioQue 1200 running my single fully loaded 10" FI Q. Wednesday omw to school, my amp cut out. I took the inline fuse out (which looked perfectly fine) and replaced it (i use 100A fuses). Thankfully my amp started working again. Thursday omw to school same thing happened. my amp cut out. This fuse was definitely blown. I immediatly ordered a circuit breaker because I was tired of replacing the fuses (the audio shop where i got the stuff installed at charges me $5 for a fuse). I went to Advanced Auto Parts store and bought a 50A fuse hoping it will hold me untill i get my circuit breaker. When i put the fuse in the fuse holder, the power light on the bass…

yea i have this old PG XS4600 i bought a few months ago, and this guy said it workd. apparently it didnt. powered on and everything, but it blew the set of CDT's it was connected to. it sounded like the speaker was bein hooked up to a wall socket, like pure power. Whats wrong with it? heres a pic of the guts. looks fine:

When i try to turn on my truck it crancks but then it doesnt go on.. I try again and it clicks...if i get a jump it starts and it shows normal voltage...i unplugged my system but it still keeps on doing it...plus i have the big 3 and the fuse from alt to batt melted...not blown just melted the casing...

Does anybody know when the Alpine 9833 or 9835 headunits be able to buy ?

Like the topic says. I just installed an electric fan to my truck and have noticed a slight voltage drop when the fans kick in. With the system I have in the truck, I'm wondering If this might be something I need to do. I need some help on this cause I'm pretty clueless with this. Hello, I've been searching for a long time but what I found seems to be too light : not enough power when I burn it on a cd! Can you give some links, please? at least a 50 Hz test tone for the sub, and a 1000 Hz one for the speakers. BTW, do you all set the gains like that, or can you use some music instead ? Thanks
