ok, if i bought about 20 Feet of KnuKonceptz 1/0 Gauge Power Wire and 6 Directed Electronics 63205 1 / 0-gauge Ring Terminals would that be all i need to do the BIG 3?

I have an 02 Ford F250 5.4l XLT CrewCab truck. I 'm running: (1) 12" 09 BL with a Diamond Audio 1000.1 (4) Polk db6500 components with a 1000.4 Yellow Top 250A Rhino Alternator Ever since I installed the BL I've been dimming. I probably have to install a seperate battery but I dont understand why I'm dimming when I got a new 250A Alt? I though the amp makes the power?

Ok so I'm looking for a few suggestions on a few amps for my planned 4 Sundown X 10's or other comparable sub. Vehicle is 07 Mini Cooper s Big 3 1/0 upgrade Battery is stock till it finally goes then plan on an AGM of some sort will worry later on that HU is Pioneer 80 prs as far as goals are concerned I really dont have any I just want to have other Mini's jealous. If I get one of these ground distributions blocks do I need to ground it the frame of my car or does it act like a self ground. Answer to this question would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Matthew

Im looking to wire two audiopipe AP.1500's strapped at 4ohms to my f2f Fi bl12 so that each amp sees 2ohms untill I get my second sub. I can't find a diagram that explains it though. I understand how to bridge the rca's but I don't get how to wire the sub. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks

I bought the SSA XCON 15D2 + SUNDOWN SAZ-1500D COMBO last year and in my receipt I got to the e-mail that's all it says, it doesn't say if it's the V2 or not. I'm supposed to go to an installer on Monday to get it wired properly as my last installers didn't do it correctly and he just called me and asked if it's the V2 or not since on the V2 you can connect 0 guage to it and he'll have to pick it up in the morning from his warehouse if I need it. alright, I have 4 guage wiring right now, not installed. and there is some 1/0 on here I was considering buying, but if I dont need it then why spend more money. I am going to do the big 3 in 4 gauge, there will be a run of probably 8+ feet to a D block under my seat where a 4ch amp will sit. it will enter a D block, and leave as 8 gauge to the 2ch. another run of 4 will leave the D block and make a trip of about 6+ feet to the sub amp behind the rear seat. I am going to set the gain on the sub amp at 800 watts, and not sure whats happening with the front stage, but worst case scenario - rear channels will be 100x2 and fronts 75x2. so Ill be pushing 1150 watts at the mos…

Well I have most things at my place ready to be hooked up sometime soon. But theres one problem, thats with donig the big three with my alt. There is a plug on the back of it that plugs into the block, its a three prong plug and those seem to be 8 gauge wire. There are three wires goign to the block then two to the battery. I do not see a ground at all. Now I have no bloody idea how I would re wire all of that. I would need a new three prong plug able to support 0 gauge wire (I would think). I have two U.S. Amps that I have had for years and I am wanting to get the specs on them. I had them installed in another vehicle that I recently sold and I am reinstalling them in another vehicle. Before I sold my other car the 150 fried which sucks, but another reason I am wanting the specs is to find out if it would be worth fixing. The first amp is a US 150 the other is a US 25.

So.. I don't use any of this new bullshit, i keep it old school with audiocontrol stuff that does not mess up. Resistor packs and things to sifts slopes and crossover points.. I was just wondering. How much or what differnce does the volt rating of a HU make? I know the higher the volt that comes out of the HU, the louder the music plays. But I will like to get a professional response out of this. I.E. If I had an ideal system, lets say one 5-channel amp with all aftermarket speakers and sub. Will the system sound louder if I had an HU with 5v rating, or one with an 8v rating? I'm assuming that the quality build of the HU overall will make the difference at the end. Aight, I'm in need of a cheaper ( sub $200 perferably ) head unit. I need this for my little river yacht. I need something with excellent radio reception being the primary focus. I can deal with no frills or anything else. I only have ( still working on them actually ) a pair of 6 1/2 co axials in the boat. I don't need any kind of processing or any of that. Just need to get decent reception in the middle of BFE Any ideas what manufacturer has the best reception ?
