i email dc sound lab and they have been really slow at getting back with me. im looken for the price of one of their 2k amps. does any one know their prices?

I bought the SSA XCON 15D2 + SUNDOWN SAZ-1500D COMBO last year and in my receipt I got to the e-mail that's all it says, it doesn't say if it's the V2 or not. I'm supposed to go to an installer on Monday to get it wired properly as my last installers didn't do it correctly and he just called me and asked if it's the V2 or not since on the V2 you can connect 0 guage to it and he'll have to pick it up in the morning from his warehouse if I need it. I don't know which one it is, and it's installed in my suv and it's installed in the jack compartment so I can't easily get to it, the only end I can see is where the speaker wires connect to. Im installing 4 super tweets(8-ohm each), 10 cadence mid-high 6.5 (8-ohm each), 4 kicker 8" comps for mid-bass (8-ohm each), and a cadence 5 channel amp. (tweets wont be amp'd) I have no crossover or processors yet. My question to you guys is, how would I make this work? And what do you guys suggest I buy as far as crossovers and processing?

I can get my hands on a Kar 1000.2t and I just wondered if there were any good, mostly from a SQ perspective but for a daily driver not that fancy. i have a 130 amp alt and a ever start battery up front i'm buying a audiopipe 15001d i was wondering if that would be sufficient for that amp if not i was thinking of a shuriken bt60 60ah and 1500 amps i want as minimal voltage drop as possible

Both my amps were working fine “twisted sounds 150.4”, but since one of the rcas outputs broke off I decided to change all to Tiffany style rcas. My issue i’m having now when I try to adjust the fader on HU to front the rear speakers still play but little lower & vise versa & balance is the same issue. Also when I turn on my vehicle it has engine noise through speakers now. The single solder between ch1,2 & 3,4 is + & the duals above them are grounds for 1,2,3,4.

I have two U.S. Amps that I have had for years and I am wanting to get the specs on them. I had them installed in another vehicle that I recently sold and I am reinstalling them in another vehicle. Before I sold my other car the 150 fried which sucks, but another reason I am wanting the specs is to find out if it would be worth fixing. The first amp is a US 150 the other is a US 25.

well i have all my measurements on my mdf and i have chualk glue screws and and the stuff i need.. but i have a skill saw or whatevers,is there anything that u prefer that i should use beside a skill saw cuz i dont know if theres certian saws that will make it look better or anything like that.. what do yall think?

Have you guys heard anything bad about the Pioneer DEX-P99RS? It would be perfect for my three way front stage. I love the idea of having a processor and HU all in one unit. It is expensive compared to other HU's but if you look at the price of a processor plus an HU then the price of the P99RS isn't so bad.

I just hooked up my equalizer and i taped into the head unit ground and power wire to power the eq and when i start my car i hear the engine noise ? how do i stop this?

I just received a set of fosgate t1 components. They have a bi amp switch on the crossover...this is new to me I've never done it. I eRad the manual and it appears I need either a 4 ch amp or 2 -2 ch amps. So I switch it to biamp 'on position and basically run the tweets with a set of channels and the miss with another through the supplied crossover.. is that it? What are the advantages of doing this vs not bi-amping?

Well I have most things at my place ready to be hooked up sometime soon. But theres one problem, thats with donig the big three with my alt. There is a plug on the back of it that plugs into the block, its a three prong plug and those seem to be 8 gauge wire. There are three wires goign to the block then two to the battery. I do not see a ground at all. Now I have no bloody idea how I would re wire all of that. I would need a new three prong plug able to support 0 gauge wire (I would think). I was just wondering. How much or what differnce does the volt rating of a HU make? I know the higher the volt that comes out of the HU, the louder the music plays. But I will like to get a professional response out of this. I.E. If I had an ideal system, lets say one 5-channel amp with all aftermarket speakers and sub. Will the system sound louder if I had an HU with 5v rating, or one with an 8v rating? I'm assuming that the quality build of the HU overall will make the difference at the end. Because with personnal experience, I had an Eclipse HU, that was made in 99 or maybe 98 lol, but the volt rating was 5, thats why I picked it up, but later installed an sony HU, tha…

I have an 02 Ford F250 5.4l XLT CrewCab truck. I 'm running: (1) 12" 09 BL with a Diamond Audio 1000.1 (4) Polk db6500 components with a 1000.4 Yellow Top 250A Rhino Alternator Ever since I installed the BL I've been dimming. I probably have to install a seperate battery but I dont understand why I'm dimming when I got a new 250A Alt? I though the amp makes the power?
