Hey guys quick easy question, my vehicle is set for a 24f battery, and I was look at xs batteries but they do not have one and said to just use their size 34. However it is slightly smaller so does anyone have any recommendations for a 24f sized battery? Or should I just go with a 34 xs?

Going to buy another battery for my Durango. It will be in the back with my amps. I already have a die hard platinum under hood and a small stinger in rear. My question is-is there any specific group I should buy for the back, or just the biggest battery I can fit back there?

when my car is on and my alternator charges the battery to whatever volts, do the max amp or watts have an effect on performance. or do these numbers only apply to when you play the stereo with the engine off? im thinking of getting more audio equipment and want to keep light dimming to a bare minimum. right now on jsut a 1200 watt amp for my sub and the stock JBL amp i only get .1-.2v voltage drops. i dont plan to upgrade the stock 80amp alternator anytime soon but am thinking of getting an XS or Kinetik under the hood since my interstate keeps losing its charge after about every 6 months give or take. also i have the big three done

Got the sub and amp installed last night, and was noticing some dimming of the headlights driving around. I'm not really wanting to change out the alternator just yet due to warranty, but I'd like to upgrade the battery and hopefully that will resolve it. The amp is an Audioque 1200d running at 1ohm, so its making right around 1200w. Not really sure which route to go for a battery. Should I look in to an Optima or Interstate type battery, or go the route of an XS battery? It would be the main/only battery and used for daily use in both really warm and cold temps.

Im planning on having a 2,000 watt rms amp (hifonics) hooked up in my 95 lexus es300. Im also thinking of a new battery. is optima a better battery than kinetik? or are they two different types of batts? sorry if this is a newbie question...lol.

hi, i have 2 questions: one how can a person determine how many and which kind of battery's a person needs ( like CCA Ah, etc) for around 2.5k rms and also do you have to fuse a ground run?

There are so many choices when it comes to batteries. A lot of batteries have a high ah rate, but how about discharge rate. I have read a lot of people talking about DEKA batteries, but which models? Kinetik, Powermaster, Odyssey, Stinger, Xstatic? Which ones would you guys recommend for a sundown 3500d, used mainly for daily, but some competitions? I have a Mean Green alternator, not sure about actual amps on that though. Hard to find a good HO alternator for my 99 Durango.

Ok so I got 2 major questions. Lets start off with the first one... So I have been doing some reading and trying to understand batteries, amp hours, CCAs, and such. And I am lost.... I even watched that youtube video someone posted explaining it and I just was overwelmed with all the math/info. So here is one question for ya. 1st vehicle is a 1999 mustang GT. It has 1 4awg positive run to the rear and split in a distro block to a jl 300/2 amp and a phoenix gold zx350 amp. Ground in the trunk is also 4 awg as well. The problem is the lights dim. Hey guys, just wondering what kind of battery charger/tender do i need to use while playing my stereo in my garage without having to keep the car running? Probably stupid question but dont have any experience with battery chargers.

I have an xs d3400 and plan on getting another, my problem lies that my altenator has a run of 1/0 to the vehicle fuse/power distribution then charges the batter only after passing through a 140 amp fuse that bridges the battery connection to the altenator charging wire. I plan on running a SS Da Vinci for a 2 way 6.5 system up front and some 5 inch rear fill, and an old school SS tarantula. I will be using BLT4's, will the 140 amp fuse be enough to charge the batteries without blowing, also thinking about taking advantage of a MS-8 processor. please help thank you, also i will have two runs of 1/0 from batt to batt and batt to amp.

Well i just installed all my equipment in my 4runner. I received my speakers today and hooked everthing up...4 15 ssd w/copper coils and bp power option...and im running 2 MA HK802SX amps.......Well the system hits pretty good, but i think it should or can do more....My voltage is dropping down to 10.2 volts at worst. My SAZ-3000 arrived today and I have two powermaster batteries on the way (D5100R, D3100.) I'm looking for ways to run 2 connections of 1/0 in addition to the factory cable to my D5100R and two 1/0 per terminal for the D3100. I'm trying not to buy 4 expensive Stinger type battery terminals. Can someone please show me some options of how to do this in a way that functions and looks nice but won't cost $80 to $100. Pictures of your setup would be nice. Thanks

I was driving my car today and realized I had know sound. I glanced down at my ashtray to find the power light for my saz's bass knob off as well. This would mean both amps have no power. Without the ability to really investigate, I found both power and grounds connected still and my single run of 1/0 positive connected starting battery to optima in the rear connected and not damaged. The ground for that battery seamed fine as well. When I popped the hood, I noticed a lot of crusty corrosion on the starting battery. The car starts fine and the head unit comes up and functions fine, just no sound. I didn't get a chance to check to check fuses, but it seems strange for fuse…

Would two XS Power D3400's be okay to run that? I have high output 270 Amp dc alt. Or should i get two XS Power D3100's?

Am wanting to get another bettery to help upgrade my electrical. Does anyone know if the special application Kinerik HC 2000 is the same as the regular HC 2000 because i can find those for a lot cheaper price than the regular ones? I think i read somewhere that this years regular model has higher amps rating than last years special applications model. How true is this? Thnaks in advance for the response.

I have a 1998 gmc jimmy. I have 2 sundown sa15's in the back with an mtx thunder 81001. Gets very loud only problem is when i turn it up to loud the battery dies. So i'm wondering what kind of battery i should get. Right now i'm looking at an optima yellow top but i'm always open to suggestions in the same price range. I do have the big 3 done, and the alternator is stock but i have no idea how big it is. Any help would be nice because this is a very annoying problem. Thanks!

i have a xcon 18inch woofer and a audioque 2200 amp a guy is selling a stinger sp1000 it sits at 13.5 volts for a 100 bucks is that a good deal will that battery work thanks for any help

How do you guys strap your rear battery's down from moving? Im trying to add a second battery to my s10 and im kind of stumped right now, i have a few extreme idea's but its alot of damn work. I did it in my tahoe but it was easy, perfect spot under rear seat, this one will be where the rear fold down seat would be in an extended cab S10. what i have right now is the seat removed and I built a false floor in the area, I have a battery box but its too tall for this battery, i could cut it down maybe 3-4" but im afraid its gonna look horrible. i could also build like a battery box out of wood and screw it down, but my woodworking skills arent the greatest either, probably w…
