Alright so i have a buddy that wants to use this amp to power some front door speakers, does anyone ahve any specs or experience with this amp? I cant seem to find anything about it

I have this amp hooked up to four. Infinity kappas 62.11 6 1/2 2ohm coaxial speakers . My speakers do 75watts rms. the amp claims 100 watt rms @ 2ohm per channel . How do I correctly set my front and rear gains, I should ask this is in a different way should I be using a multimeter or by hearing. What would be the correct way, I do have it on HPF vs full range. Also to any replies if multimeter is used what's the correct way, I understand the meter for the most part. Thank you

i just installed an excess amperage 300 amp alternator ... for some reason something is not working correctly ... i am only getting 12.5 volts and it drops a tad to 12.4 when i rev it up ... what is going on ... the stock alt was connected to the fuse panel but i ran the new wire to the battery and fuse pannel to the battery

ive made posts before about a kicker 2500.1, mtx ta92001 and hifonics xxv amps, but im not sold on them.For a while ive been trying to put together a setup and i think i got it. probably going to go with 2 15" BLs. And ive seen an american bass VFL 200.1 rated 3000 watts @13.8 volts, so I was like sweet, and i would like to know how much this amp runs for (price).and ill have all new electrical to back this amp up. Well, I got a new car yesterday and I am in the process of making the exhaust more quiet, but I am trying to figure out what I should get system-wise, as I have pretty much been out of the loop for a year or so. The system is going in a 2002 Trans Am WS.6 (cammed, full exhaust, 12 bolt rear, a few suspension mods, etc.) HU: I am looking at the Pioneer DEH-P880PRS with the iPod adapter for my iPod. I have always been a fan of Pioneer HUs and this one just looks sweet. I found two mmats for sale on cl in my area guy wants 700.00 for them they are 1400.1 @1ohm. looked them up online really couldnt find any reviews on them. was woundering if anyone had any insight on these amps. Are the under rated, the reason i ask is i have two fi d2 fwfl bl 15s. would these be good amps to push these subs i figure to run one one each. Any help would be great. thanks doogie

I am wondering if a brutus 1600 watt is a good amp, i heard it is over rated. I am soon hoping to order eather a Fi BL or Q dual 2 ohm. I'm just wondering what some people know about it?

I went on crutchfield and read a FAQ for multi amp and it said this You'll need a relay on the turn-on lead to protect your receiver. A relay connected to the power antenna lead draws little current from the receiver, but supplies enough power to turn on all your amps simultaneously. Since I dont have a power antenna I assume I could connect it to the ignition, but why cant I just do like how I want and splice the remote wire to the other amps? Ive never heard of using a relay for this. AND does anyone know of a site where I can browse hi output alternators?

I've started looking at amps for my SPl set up so I know how much I need to save. I really dont want to spend more than $500 but i know that is kinda hard. Im looking for something that can drive my Ava at 4ohm well or 1ohm with the gains down and do some good SPL runs at 1ohm with my Custom Woofage DP. I was looking at the 20.1 but that is alot of money. Kicker, Orion, they all cost lots of money for lots of power. I know power cost money but does anyone know where i can get the hook up? Ive yet to talk to my GF's uncle about a kicker amp. assumeing i could get one what would be a good amp to suit my needs.

Where is a good place to get anl fuses cheap. Been looking around on the web, I usually get them from a flea market pretty cheap, but the shop isn't there anymore.

Alright most likely this amp will be powering 2 12" SS RL-P's in a box between 1.75-2^3ft with 20-24^2in of port per sub...tuned to 34hz... Here are the amp choices..price range is under 360.... 1.)Orion 2500D(refurbished from Ikesound kinda worried about that) will be used @ 2 ohms 2.)MA Audio HK-1398 which is 600x2 @ 1ohm stereo, and 1600x1@ 2ohm mono... 3.)Hifonics BX1605D which is 1600@1ohm. Hey I wanted to know if I could get some help for a friend. His car is a 98 Toyota Avalon and he recently bought a 250amp mechman alternator. He switched out his old alt for his new alt(Everything on the new alternator is a plug and play), revved the engine made some minor positioning adjustments to get rid of the squeeky loose noise. We went to a bank to get some money for my brothers install he did. The battery was dead for some reason. I know it's hard to do apples to apples, different ohm loads "Output Voltage and Impedance 8V/55 " different THD's "Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): 0.008%" yadda yadda...frequency range, voltage. I have been looking to switch from Alpine to Eclipse on the simple thought that Alpine is usually 4-5V where eclipse can be 8V and upwards. Help me out here guys!

WHat kind of wiring kit should i get for a 1000 watt amp 2 channel?

I have one positive run to the back. Will that support a 3500d? I have a 3400 with stock under the hood. I am thinking another 3100 in the back. All grounds are to frame to avoid chopping the car up. Thanks for the help its been awhile since I been here.lol

Hey guys i was recommend here by denim. Be patient i don't know much about stereos, i'm a motor guy. Here's my situation, my explorer has an xtant 3300x powering then entire stereo system. It burned out about 3 weeks ago, supposidly a shop is fixing it, but they say they are having trouble getting parts. I'm growing impatient because i have nothing at all, because i have a non powered eclipse head unit. I'd like to replace it with a xtant 603, but at the moment even a refurbished one is a little much for my budget. Could i get away with using a xtant 403 to power the whole thing? trying to make a couple buss bars for a battery rack and wanted some ideas on what kind of material to use. I stay not too far from a home improvement store and was looking to buy a few flat metal bars. In no way shape or form am I giving my first born for copper lol. I wanted to know would aluminum get too hot? They'll be about 30-36" long x 2" wide x 1/8" thick and I will have about 600amps of current going through them. Or should I use plain steel or steel with zinc plating?

So, I had the Kenwood performance series 1800 amp. Almost 5 years and it finally went. So, I am in the market for a new amp. I was looking at the ct sounds at1400.1D. Seen Steve Meade bench test it. It seems impressive. But, keep getting told to don't waste my money. That it's not quality. So, I'm back to looking. I have a budget of $400. I'm not looking at skar or soundstream tarantula amps. Would like 1000+rms at 2 ohms. What would be recommended by you guys? I always stuck with what has worked. Which I always had kicker and Rockford fosgate. So... ill be needing 2 amp wiring kits. One for my sundown 50.4 (either 4 or 8 gauge. Idk what it takes.) that im geting. And one for my sundown 2500.1 (0ga) later on this year. Now my question is... for the wiring kits, is there any major pros to buying brands such as stinger? I just figure that copper is copper. Not sure tho. I just don't wanna spend the rediculous price that they cost. I was just gonna search for cheaply priced amp kits. So...hdoes brand mahtter that much? Pros and cons? Set on buying a GCON 12 for my accord but having trouble finding a good amp for under $300 to power it. Any suggestions on what would pair well with the SSA? I know its kind of a stupid question but im a newb just learning about car audio. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

I installed a audiopipe 1500 to power a sundown x10 in a ported box. jl audio componants in the front doors jl coaxials in the rear deck running on a jl700/5 the 2012 mustang gt factory hu and lastly the pain in my back is a audiocontrol dq 61. I mounted everything on a wall behind the rear seats just in the trunk. I 2 separate stinger 1/0 for power as well as grounds. My signal is also stinger 9 conductor w/ 2 350amp fuses. the 5th channel on the 700/5 is waiting on jl8w3 mounted in the front doors. I hope there is something my eyes are not catching because the insides sound like tin cans. when I am able to improve the sound I cant turn them up beyond 25% without clip…

I was thinking about getting the audiopipe 3k, but a little confused on wiring my two D4 subs on the amp. Before you comment don't tell me to not get it because its a POS (I'm not asking wether I should get it or not). I am on a budget.. The amp does around 3k @ 2ohms. If you aren't familiar with the amp it has 2 channels, its basically two 1500s strapped. Can I wire my 2 D4 subs on this amp to get a 2ohm final load on the amp to receive 3k? This amp has got me so confused haha, thanks for the help.
