UPS dropped off a little somethin' somethin': First impressions. I didn't have much time to play around with it (gotta go to work soon), so I was pretty careful with the settings. Still, this thing is amazing. Gets loud and LOW. Hopefully I'll get some more work done this weekend (moving bass knob and replacing the crappy cable) and get it tuned a little better, but so far I'm extremely happy with my purchase. SSA's got a customer for life.

Lets see how many likes we can get on this layout. We want to offer some more "in style" colors, we are thinking dark purple, sapphire blue and black. Here is the purple design. Are you guys planning a 15" Dcon is just left to the Fcon and/or other lines

Just ordered my Icon 15 and SAE 1000D!! Can't wait. Any one know how long it takes for the Icon to be shipped? And is 4.0ft^3 @ 32hz good?

Well, the DCON 12 that i won in the giveaway arrived today. I immediately removed it from the package and examined it. Aside from the motor it is a spitting image of the Icon. Glue joints are flawless and just looking over it and holding it you can tell the build quality is top notch. I have pics i will post up when i do the build log I actually spent yesterday rewiring the car and prepping things, so i was eager to put it in a temporary prefab box to start breaking it in. I finally got it in around 8 this evening and started to play around with it. New box build will be coming over the next week, it is currently in 1.25 cubes gross, sealed I can already tell that this t…

so i have an extra enclosure laying around and had thoughts of 1 each Icon 12" dvc 4 ohm for it enclosure is 31" wide 14" high 19" deep 1 " MDF 100% all the way around 4 each aeroports , 4", and they are 7" long anyone have thoughts on this match up Thanks Travis

First impressions: MASSIVE.

I ordered around the 9 of september but talked to Aaron not to long ago about the wait time and he said the build house was finishing their move and that there was a bit of demand. I was in no rush and don't mind waiting a couple extra days. Anyways, here are the pictures. This thing is a monster. Not installed yet, but I'm impressed with it thus far. We are looking to pick up 2 or 3 Bass Race competitors. We would like them to be able to get it going for the remainder of this season. If you are interested, we are looking for someone with bass race experience, if not, having a good deal of SPL time under their belt. The ICON is a good bass race candidate. This is not a sponsorship. As we are way too small of a company to give away equipment. This is for people who can do a good number of shows. This is in the beginning stages. I was leaning towards a eD 13ov.3 but with the power I have on tap DLS A3 1200 watts at 1 ohm I am going for the big boy. So if you have a used one in good mechincal and cosmetic shape please let me know. I may have a TREO SSX 750.1 (does 1500watts at 1 ohm) for trade if you want to add a few bucks to the swap. I realized that I do have enough post to post the the forsale section so if there is a need mods please delete this.

Currently running JL 12w3's in a ported box @30hz with 900 watt rms. They get low and don't sound bad at all. But not real loud. Not looking to up my power, and am very curious to try a different brand. Thinking of the dcon 15's. But it will be easier to stick with 12's. So my question is will the dcon 12's give more output than my w3's on 900 watt rms in a 4 cu ft box at 30hz. Or should I just save for the 15's and a new box?? Hoping someone here had experience with the w3's and the dcon's and can chime in.

Well i have been looking for some great subs for a while now and i think i have found them. I listen to a lot of rock and metal (avendged sevenfold, as i lay dying, bullet for my valentine) which has double bass in it. And i was wondering if perhaps the size of the driver would make the double bass or just bass petal kick in general sound better or worse? Also since i am lookin for the tight crisp bass i believe it would be best to go with a sealed box? Any input is greatly apreciated.

ok heres the deal, i have a friend that competes in streetspl,. he started the season off with 4 SA 12s on 2 M3as and was doing great, then he stepped up to 4 soundlab 18's on 4 M3as and was whopping ass. the new season starts in january and hes looking to rebuild, he asked me to find him 9 SA 12s but im thinking to suade him into 9 Gcons, the thing is, he knows the SA12's he ran them before, and i have too, great subs, but the Gcon is new, but it priced around the same, and its a comparable woofer on paper, im looking for someone that has used both woofers, i dont want to talk this guy into getting something he may not be happy with then look at me like im an as…

After all of the readings i've done, it seems like these are the popular choices for subs. Which would you rate for being the best all around LOUD SOUND QUALITY sub. It seems like the ia and xcon have the flattest bl curve, the xxx may be the winner in the lows department and the w7 is what everything is measured against. B4 I only had highs with no mid bass, so I loved my 10w7's over my 06xxx. Now I have the focal krx2 for the highs and mids, so what would be a good sub to blend with them? They are able to play down the the 70hz range i believe. Looking for the best sound quality in 6cubes maxx! Also looking for it to be loud(outside of the truck for showing off purpose…
