anybody know the best amp to run 3 10"inch icons in a ported box?The budget is 350$ dollars,i would like new.Electrical will be big 3 and 1 kinetic battery in the back.

just seen that fisher has icon/box combos. was thinking of trying to get a 10" icon and a 1.25cuft box tuned to 28hz. and a sundown sae 1200d. would the icon handle 1500w daily?

Has anyone heard the dcons?I was looking to do a little setup in my girls car and i was wondering if 3 12' dcons would get loud on 1000 watt rms?

Does anyone know if you can order the xcon dust cap to be like the icon subwoofers?I like that sunk in look looks beefy..

i want a sub with good output and good sq, by the rms numbers it seem slike the xcon will get plenty loud for me but im worried about the sound quality. so id like to kno if anyone has heard an fi q, ssa icon or havoc or anything along those lines and heard a xcon too and if the sq is comparable? thanks.

Today i met up with (sound vibration)he is running 2 icon 10 inch subs off a swiss 2000 amp.His amp is only giving each woofer 400 watts,all i can say is the ssa line are the best subwoofers i have ever heard.when my brother got out his car i said "how did you like'his answer was that shit wiggled my ears! And he got some big ass ears to wiggle lol...Big ups to Mark and Denim for such a bad ass woofer..

Ok, gettin a little worried about all the warnings I have recieved that the HDC3s don't get low and have a funny hollow sound to them. Just sayin, if more then 3 people tell you that you look like a jackass, you might want to take a look in the mirror, lol. So, I am really liking the Xcon 12 D2. Plays low, sounds great, and is a sexy driver to boot. Question is, do you think a Xcon 12 D2 and a Audiopipe AP18001D would be a good match. Here are the results to the SSA xCon 15" sub woofer in WinISD the enclosure is 4.0 cubic feet tuned to 28hz, I hope this helps. I noticed no one else has one out yet and these always help me greatly.

I almost had a hear attack a second ago when i went to the ssa home page. My speaker volume was up pretty high and all the sudden i hear gunshot sounds. Haha damn fireworks. Has that happened to anyone yet?

well i have had my Xcon for awhile now and just love it ( it sounds really good right now )... i have it hooked to my Hifoincs BXi 1208d... 1200 X 1 @ i ohm... i had this amp when i bought the Xcon, it is a couple years old.. so anyway what i am wanting to know is.... will i notice any changes in sound or output if i buy like a SAZ 1500d or another quality amp that does 1500 watts ? I tried using the SSA gallery, but had a few issues, so photobucket links. I'll be building a few boxes soon, at least one sealed and a couple test ported boxes for my 96 Volvo 850 GLT (trunk). This 12" xcon d2 will be replacing my current Infinity Kappa Perfect 12vq's, and powered off a Sundown SAZ-1500d. I have a 50ft spool of 1/0 welding wire in my room, a sax100.4 on the way from db-r, and will be ordering the mli65's from the ssa store along with a battery or two. Hi everyone. I need to build a new enclosure for my pair of 15" XCONS. My ported box is coming apart and replacement is unavoidable. I want to build a sealed box and try them out that way for a little while to see if I like it better. If not, I will build a larger ported box later. The recommended optimal volume as listed on the SSA storefront is 2.75 - 3.0. I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, the smaller box will yield a tighter bass, but I am open to all suggestions and opinions. Space is not an issue. Pikcking up a pair of 18" X-Cons this week. Any TS Parameters for these available?

Which would be louder and sound better ultimately? 8 icon 15s or 4 XCON 18s? I know the 15s have more cone area, but the 18S are more efficient, handle more power, and have more excursion. Would run 4 15s off of a 3500d or 2 of the 18s off the same amp.
