Hey Guys, Just wanted to give an update to how my system has been progressing over this past year, particularly with my subwoofer. I've taken some pictures so you guys can take a look at it for yourself. So let me go ahead and state there is no bashing here towards SSA or F.i. has a build house, this is just what I've experienced. But first, let me go ahead and explain my driving habbits. I take a lot of road trips. Anywhere from 3-6 a year. Which most average around the 7 hour mark. Also, I do a lot of driving around as well. can they be used in a sealed box? if so do they have good sound quality? would one 10 beable to handle the power from a kicker zx1000.1 with a birthsheet of 1156w?

Currently I'm running a 10" Icon in a 1.5 cube box at 32hz with 1000-1200rms. Is there much of a difference if I used a smaller box such as 1-1.35 cubes with the same tuning?

I was just wanting to know how long it usually takes to have them manufactured and shiped out

I currently already have a kicker 750.1 amp... is it alright to power the Icon at that ? or should i sell the kicker and get the sundown/ssa package thanks

I am extremely interested in buying a ssa icon 15 but I am concerned because my amp puts out 1500 wrms @ 1 ohm. Will the icon hold up to that kinda power?

There will be a short bit of having the ICON out of stock as we prepare for the release of the new ICON. Totally rebuilt and re-engineered from the ground up! Complete with custom cooling, new coils, better power handling. That's all we are saying at this point about it, but this will be one hell of a driver when it's complete. Do the ssa icon sound good in a sealed enclosure?the setup would be 2 15"icon running off a single audioque2200 in a car trunk?

@soundsolutionsaudio I mention it as more and more traffic is moving to Instagram and I am often posting a daily story video. So some of the most up to date stuff is going there now due to speed and convenience.

Not sure if this is the right sub forum for this or not. Let me know if I need to move it. I'm in the South Jersey area, I've got a 08 Passat. I wanted to add maybe a 1 12" or 2 10" to the factory sound system to fill out the bottom end. I had a single 10 DCON in my previous car and loved it. I did all my other installs myself, but this time I'd like to have a more professional finish. I saw the SSA HQ is not far from me (about an hour and a half). Does the SSA HQ do installs / have a showroom that I could listen to the other subs they sell (sundown, IA, etc) to see how they all compare? If not, does SSA have any installers in this area they'd recommend?
