so i finally came to a decision on what subs i wanted to go with and i chose the havocs! they will be going in this enclosure 6.2 cuft 32hz with this amp saz-3000d should sound pretty good

Hi guys I just recently got an 18" AA Chaos and just put it in my car and i must say im extremely happy. I am surprised at the SQ this subwoofer has! The transitions between bass lines are so smooth, it handles highs great. And im still breaking it in! Compared to my older subs (Soundstream T415, RF HX2's) i must say this stuff is the best ive ever heard. Ive got it on a Mac Audio Fearless 1000 (~900wrms), in a 7cuft box tuned to 34hz. i allways wondered who here has listend to an AA atlas, xbl^2? just wondering what you thought of it and did you like the sq. i allways hear such good things about the icon, mag, xxx, w6 as being top sq subs just wondering where would you place the atlas. i know tuan from TTB loved the atlas for its sq.

so ive seen that ppl have been rebuilding sub to a different diameter and im wondering if i should consider it an option? right now i have a 12in AA arsenal running of 600rms, in a 2.2 cubes net, ported to 30hz and im pretty happy with but i was considering the possiblity of going to a 10 in a ported box or a 15 sealed because i think it would sound better.... is this just a waste of time? its 2 in the morning so maybe my heads not in the right place.... could i go 18" just for chits and giggles???? lol

ok i allways thought chad was still in charge of AA, but just had scott help him design the subs. as i was reading in the other thread though it appears that chad has his own companey "epic audio" so does this mean that he is no longer assciated with AA? if so who is in charge?

I am looking for a monster sub. either FI audio or Ascendant audio. I know they are in the same family but they make great subs. I am chasing a great sounding sub that can still achieve good numbers on the meter. My choices are the Mayhem or the SP4 What do you think about these subs based on my goals? Please only those that have experience with each.

I am only 16 but i am getting my car soon and i want to have some good subs in it... And ive always wanted AA's but i want to know if they are really worth the price because ill be paying alot to get them shipped to Canada... I am looking at the arsenals and chaos series subwoofers. The thing is I do not know what the prices are for the two mentioned subs. I am looking into 12's and 15's for both models, and based on the price I will be able to make the best decision on what is the best for the buck, since they are both high quality. The problem is that I have e-mailed AA twice requesting pricing info but have not heard back from them. I understand they are busy but it has been a week or so. What is the max amount of power you would run to a mayhem 18 for daily/music.....anyone running them daily with 4k or more?

Sorry to ask because I know it's all over the forum but I cannot figure out what I need or where to get it. My AA has broken tinsel leads on one voice coil and I have no clue how to fix it. I would assume to fix it the right way, I'd need to pull the cone out, but after that I'm not sure what parts I'd need to repair it.

Man I love Mayhem subs. This one is going in 2.8 cuft tuned to 32 with 50 sqin of port. Massive Nano N4 (2000 RMS) for power.

Is it just a spl sub or will it make a good daily.

Would 2 12" Mayhem's be ok in 2.742 cubes and on a Sound Stream xxx-6500d at 1 ohms?? I was worried about the box being to big I am only about a 1/4 to 1/2 up on gain right now on two Mass Destruction Napalm's and they sound good but are really made for a smaller box..

Could i get a price on a motor and cone ? and can the motor fit on a Fiq basket

Im currently wanting to try something new and I was wanting to know what would be a better choice.. I have 2 5000rms amps for each 12" woofer I intend on using. So Im wanting to a setup with 2 12's and its between the AA Mayhem or the Fi BTL 12".. I dont have any dealers of AA in my area and it don't seem like they do much of the speaker customizing like Fi does... So whats everyones input? BTL 12" vs. Mayhem 12"?
