Man I love Mayhem subs. This one is going in 2.8 cuft tuned to 32 with 50 sqin of port. Massive Nano N4 (2000 RMS) for power.

Help me out. Just found a new, unused Ascendant Audio Avalanche 15" subwoofer. Application is for SQ. Looking at sealed design. Wondering what is the ideal dimensions for this beast. Thanks for being patient.

Hey guys, i wanted to know guys think a 15' aa mayhem would fit in my hatchback mitsubishi eclipse 99... And what amp do you guys think would be good with that sub? I was thinking saz 25/30/3500?? And if you guys have an amp that would compliment the sub i would be more then interested to purchase! Thanks

ok i allways thought chad was still in charge of AA, but just had scott help him design the subs. as i was reading in the other thread though it appears that chad has his own companey "epic audio" so does this mean that he is no longer assciated with AA? if so who is in charge?

Time to upgrade. Think I am going to do 2 SMD's now so the Mayhems need to go. Since this is a forum for Ascendant Audio I might as well let that be known here. The mayhems are Fing amazing, but as alot of people in the car audio field see....there is always louder. lol. That being said...whats the price on 2 18inch SMD's and where would a recommended place be to sell the 2 18 inch mayhems that I currently have?

hey guys im buying a new system for my 2004 pontiac grand prix. I was thinking about buying 2 10" AA assassins and putting them in a 2.7 cubic feet box(ported) and powering them with the Hifonics BXi 1610D. Do you think that these are going to get loud and hit pretty hard. Or should i go bigger and get a 12" arsenal in a 1.8 cubic ft box powered by the Hifonics BXi 610. Or finally should i get a 12" Chaos in the same 1.8 cubic ft box powered by the Hifonics BXi 1210D. I dont really want to worry about upgrading my electical system now but i am open to suggestions. I'm a soon-to-be Ava18 user. However, I'd like to get the cabinet started before the driver arrives, so I can plug, play, and grin. So if someone could confirm the dimensions I have, and fill in the ones I'm missing, I'd appreciate it. OD (with gasket): 18.5" OD (sans gasket): ??? ID (cutout): 16.75" (edit) Height of driver lip (with gasket): ??? Height of driver lip (sans gasket): ??? Also, assuming the driver is recessed by .75" (mounted on the inner layer of a double baffle) how much clearance should I leave for the grille? (I plan to adopt a cat after I move, so I think a grille will be necessary to make sure that no claws touch the surround.) As for how I'll use it, …

Started working on the doors of the trailblazer yesterday.....2 x 7in asecendant midbass in each of the front doors, as well as 2 tweeters (probably 4).... pics...didnt get too much done but here they are... badass jigsaw... - some VERY rough pre cuts

So I've done my research and found numbers ranging from 1400-2200. Considering I will have 2750 rms on tap for this puppy, I would like to know a more accurate recommendation for daily power handling from either personal/professional experience. My setup is in signature. I ask because I would like set the amp via oscilloscope. I have a tendency to go overboard with everything. My local dealer stopped selling ascendant quite a while back and now I'm looking for a new 10 for a small build and would like some prices.

in the near future i am goin to build a box for HAVOC 18 what do u think of this design i made...will it work?? box: W=37 D=23 H=19 port width=5 box volume=6.2 tuning frequency=32 i excluded aprox. 0.25 (ft3) for the sub... the SUB should be in the middle of the box .. your opinions

I sent a email and wrote to a person from aa about a re cone kit about 2 weeks ago and have not got a response back...you have a great product but you guys made the subs wrong, on 2 of mine I have 4 aa 8's and 2 of them have uncentered voice coils so i wanted to re cone to fix this prob with out spending the money to send them in, if some one could help me that would be great. But for now I am a slight un happy customer. I under stand that fi and aa r busy but its been about 2 weeks... but again if I can get a re-pile back it would be great Thanks, Craig Jones

Hello All, I am just curious to know what can cause a woofers suspension to weaken? As stated in the thread title this is in reference to a Havoc 12" that I have had for a little over a year. I have never overpowered the sub and have always set the gains properly with an O-scope, and after doing so I have always turned the sub output on my deck way down into the negatives to get it to blend properly with my components. The amps I have used on the sub are the Sundown SAE-1000D, SAE-1200D, and most recently the SAZ-1500D. The box I have been using is two cubic feet tuned to 32Hz. hey im just curious about news on the chaos and mayhem series as well as if the avalanche will make a return? i may have missed it, or didnt search properly, but is there any info on them release dates performance etc? being aa i would imagine everything is being made to sound good first and then up the loudness? any of them going to be similar to the o5 xxx or have xbl^2? split gap? sorry for all the questions but im jumping up to an 18 soon and cant decide whether i want two smaller 18s (mjs) or one mean one, Q, mayhem, DR etc. sealed application probably with a possible porting later on. saz 1500d would be for power.. oh and i have a mag 12 right now the last gen so so…
