Right now I have four JL Audio 10w3v2s in a 2.5 cf enclosure in my Suburban and I am looking to upgrade. My goal is good overall sound quality in my daily driver. Would you recommend 2 FI Q 12's or a single 15? I will be using one or two of my Tru Tech amps depending on which setup I go with. I am using Hybrid gear up front and would like to provide a good match. Thank you in advance for your time and help, John

the search function doesn't like it when i search for anything about the Q's and i searched backa couple pages and didn't find what i was looking for. anyways, i'm considering upgrading to a second Q. and i have 2 questions. i would rather not half to upgrade my alt, seeing as i just got a brand new stock alt put in 2 days ago cause my old one completely went out. and i can't return it now that it's in.. (and i don'th ave money now.) so i want to know if my current SAE will be enough for 2 Fi Q's? and i know it'll power them, and probably be just fine. but what i'm asking is will it be worth upgrading to a 1500? i would go 2000 but i'd rather not have to upgrade my electr…

Right now I have a pair of Q 15's in an 8.0CuFt enclosure, after all displacement. Tuned to 30 Hz. I was thinking about doing 4 X 12's in about 8Cuft enclosure tuned to 32 Hz. Power wise, it would be easier on my electrical. But my question is, would the response be there? Would the X's play sloppy? I'm happy with the Q's but I want a little more output (SPL). And I'm sure like alot of you, I like to change things up. Right now my Q's are powered off a PA A3000db at 1 ohm. The x's would be at 2 ohm. Just to throw this out there..I have 2 PA A3000db's if that helps you with your suggestions. Suggestions please?

  14. hey guys. I've got a 2000 firebird trans am that is in need of some extra bump. I currently have 1 Resonant Engineering SX 15" in a 5.5 cu ft box at 33hz in my Yukon and it sounds amazing on music and tones. I'm wanting to do the 2 10" stealth enclosures that fit into the rear pockets of the firebird. Here's what I mean... http://www.subthump.com/acamarostealth.htm I was wondering about the SSD 10's. Do you think they would be nice for this enclosure? I know the minimum sealed enclosure is actually 0.6 cu ft. With displacenemt, I'm assuming the final volume of the box will be around 0.4-0.5 cu ft. Is this too small for this driver? What other 10" woofer would you recommen…

Ok, so I am going infinite baffle in my e28 and have a pair of Fi X 12's. Does anyone know how well they may perform in tis type of setup? Just a little info, stock the trunk is sealed from the cabin in an e28 BMW and therefore it is good for this type of setup. I will mount the subs on the rear deck. I am definitely an SQ guy so lower spl is fine with me. However, I cannot go bigger than 12" because there is only 13" of rear deck space. I would have to cut the wall all up just to get some air moving into the cabin in a regular box setup anyway. Any tips, questions, info is appreciated.

im looking to change my setup. if i go the bl route, my box cuft will be 5-5.4cuft total including port area. if i go btl route, the box will be about the same total. they will be powered by a zx2500 which in the birth certificate says 2700 (if that matters) now i want to know which will be louder. this will be for daily use in my dodge charger. i currently have 2-15" L7's sealed in a 4.2cuft box and it pounds, but i just want to change it up. plus, i have a feeling that i can get louder than it if i go the FI route. thanx im also open to other suggestions.

hey, i have a destjl built E15k (with the boob cone and blue e), and i spoke to nick via email a few months ago about a recone. I am just wondering if these would basically be arsenal parts, and how the sub would compare to the original. The e15k and the 15 arsenal have similar specs, xmax, and box requirements, so i figure this would be a good match. Just curious, and i may find out what that would cost if this is a good match. thanks brian

I ordered my IB315's through Fi's website. The ordering process was very easy to navigate. I had contacted Fi Audio one time after ordering and I received a response within six hours. My subs were shipped by FedEx. They arrived at my doorstep efficiently packaged and unharmed. The subs have no scratches, paint chips, excess glue or any other abnormality. The build quality looks excellent without having any extra unneeded cosmetics.

  25. I am currently beginning an installation for my 2002 Ranger super cab. I will be running two BTL 12's in this install. I would like some opinions on this setup. Some people may think im crazy for putting this into a small space. But I live by the rule get loud or go home. Let me know what you all think about how this will turn out and how hard it will be hitting.
