I am trying to run 2 fi ssd's in my truck at 2 ohms... i would like to find an amp that is 2000 rms at 2 ohms... would like something cheap working on a budget here.. any suggestions?

Hello Fi, A friend of mine has a pro audio set up, and needs to know if it is possible to have recone kits for some Aura subs. They use Neodymium (?) . He loves how they sounds, they play low and loud ! I can show you pics of the drivers when he send them to me. He has several ones to recone, they are very old ! These speakers won't go in a car, just in big boxes for live events. thanks

I just ordered a BL 12 ohm duel 1. I am not very savvy at all with any of this stuff but know i want good stuff and it to sound good. One of my friends is selling a class D amp rated at 5000watts, I do not know the name of the amp right now, but hes selling it for 150$ because he needs money right now. Of course I dont want to push out 5000watts on my sub lol but I could get a capacitor for it and bring it down to what I want it to be at? I dont really know what im talking about so some help would be much appreciated! And yes, I am having a professional install the sub for me when I get the sub.

Ok so ups delivered my 2 15" btl's today and needless to say I was anxious to put them in. So I used a box that FC designed for me but the cutout is too big. I put them in anyways and get it sop hooked up. Yo I played the first song and I couldn't believe how loud it was! The 2 subs were just as loud as my 4 15's that I had in my previous setup! I can't believe how loud it is! And I was talking about getting 2 18's! To say the least I am very satisfied! So Im trying to order a pair of FI N2 BTL 15's and I can't get a response from FI. Anybody knows a better way to get in touch with them for us military folks?

So I bought my Fi Q 15" a little over a year ago but due to a DUI its only gotten about 4 months if that of playing time. I just got my license back so i was excited to finally get to hear it again. After only a couple of days it shot out a large cylindrical metal piece through the dustcap. The dust cap is fractured but the the insides of the sub look fine(coils and whatever else i can see). I've never seen this happen before in person or online. I have it in about a 4 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz. Well im not sure what to choose SPL or Daily on a BTL. I want to find a sub that i can Use for Daily and SPL. Does the SPL setting sound like complete ass on music or is it not to bad? Is the daily still pretty good for competing? My woofer is great for daily but not good for competing unless i buy another since its dual 6 ohm. and im a single set up guy. Anyone compete with the daily setting? Anyone listen to music with the SPL setting? thanks

hi ! i would like to know wich FI sub would match the better with my amp to get the most out of it... ? I would like to go with 1 12", the enclosure size will fit on my back seat, that's why... so my amplifier is a kenwood KAC-9105D rated at 500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (900 watts x 1 at 2 ohms) and 1ohm stable, the output regulated at 900 watts... and the last sub i got is a fck'n kenwood excellon who is the top of the line of kenwood and in 1 month i cooked the coils... : ( the sub was a 12" 600 watts rms and 2000 watts peak and is a dual 4 ohms. Ive spent a lot of time looking for an amp for the FI BL 15 that's on its way to my house. I don't want to spend much over $300 for an amp so do you guys know any good amps for about $300 or less? I was kinda looking at the Power Acoustik BAMF5500/1D but i really dont know how good of an amp it is.

For people that have purchased products from Fi, particularly there Q 18 D1 with the BP option, how long did it take from purchase to receive your subwoofer. I know Fi is a good company and greatly approve of there products but I am getting fed up! I bought 1 Q 18 w/ the BP option on the 22nd of last month. Im new to the sub game. Looking for a pretty inexpensive setup that i can play everyday and that hits hard. I was looking at Fi's products and maybe just 1 ssd 15" would be nice or should i get 2 12" or just 1 18" could do what i want. Should i just forget about the 18" because of the cost of a ported box and amp and head unit would be alot? Album of Fi BTL 15 Pictures I have a Btl 15 fully loaded with Cooling, HiXm coil, Inner Heat Sink, daily Driver, dual 2s. I was recently looking at my sub and found that the spiders were starting to crack. I thought maybe the motor was bending the frame and causing the coils to scrape. I had a friend post on a forum about frames bending and they all said the frame would crack and break before it would bend. I do not know if I got a faulty frame or what but my frame is bent which made the sub not be centered and caused the coils to scrape on the motor and put extra force on that side of the spider . Just got the new Fi BTL n2 18", opened it up, its a 18" and its an N2 I know, but looking at my old one which I got in March 2011, this one only has 3 circular holes for "cooling". My old one has 12 square openings for the cooling. The basket is also a bit different I believe, Can somebody help me out? Im just wondering if this BTL n2 has cooling or not. Thank you.
