Ok so this is probably not the best place to post this but i needed a final "ok" from some people who know their stuff and i know most everyone on here does so that is why im asking. I am ordering my stuff, probably before the 24th since there is a sale on the amp i want, and just wanted to make sure im making the right choice and wont regret anything and that this will work... So I bought my Fi Q 15" a little over a year ago but due to a DUI its only gotten about 4 months if that of playing time. I just got my license back so i was excited to finally get to hear it again. After only a couple of days it shot out a large cylindrical metal piece through the dustcap. The dust cap is fractured but the the insides of the sub look fine(coils and whatever else i can see). I've never seen this happen before in person or online. I have it in about a 4 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz. Its on a USAmps XT2000D and definately not recieving full power for the sub and the gains are turned down. I didn't change anything in the setup since i last drove it a year a…

Ok so ups delivered my 2 15" btl's today and needless to say I was anxious to put them in. So I used a box that FC designed for me but the cutout is too big. I put them in anyways and get it sop hooked up. Yo I played the first song and I couldn't believe how loud it was! The 2 subs were just as loud as my 4 15's that I had in my previous setup! I can't believe how loud it is! And I was talking about getting 2 18's! To say the least I am very satisfied! I have to keep the gain down because my lights were dimming and also because the subs are leaking a lot of air because of the cutout! Just to imagine that these subs will be louder is amazing! I am trying to run 2 fi ssd's in my truck at 2 ohms... i would like to find an amp that is 2000 rms at 2 ohms... would like something cheap working on a budget here.. any suggestions?

So Im trying to order a pair of FI N2 BTL 15's and I can't get a response from FI. Anybody knows a better way to get in touch with them for us military folks?

Ok I'm sure some will get a kick out of this, but this is my first time with an Fi sub. I have everything wired up and just have to screw the sub into the box, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. It looks like the whole surround is metal with rubber on top. There are some partial holes on the bottom of the metal but they don't match up with anything on top. I'm just a little confused because I thought this would be the easiest part, and I figured I would ask before I go about damaging the sub with a drill. Sub is 12" BTL N2. I've had it for years and never got around to installing it until now.

Just got the new Fi BTL n2 18", opened it up, its a 18" and its an N2 I know, but looking at my old one which I got in March 2011, this one only has 3 circular holes for "cooling". My old one has 12 square openings for the cooling. The basket is also a bit different I believe, Can somebody help me out? Im just wondering if this BTL n2 has cooling or not. Thank you. ok guys im new to all of this so take it easy on me first of all i ordered two fi btl n3 12s... so so excited i had alot of other cheap subs and want something better now what i would like to know is the btl n3 just for burping ? or can i play long bass songs- they didnt have the option for daily , and i know this babys are for spl but i want to beat them in my car daily and roll up to spl competions tooo. any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated o and so far the setup im going to be running is 2 fi btl n3 12s box size ? dont know need help 4 kinetic 2400s audio que 20

For people that have purchased products from Fi, particularly there Q 18 D1 with the BP option, how long did it take from purchase to receive your subwoofer. I know Fi is a good company and greatly approve of there products but I am getting fed up! I bought 1 Q 18 w/ the BP option on the 22nd of last month. I received a receipt when I bought it but never a confirmation. So I then emailed them and they sent me a confirmation. So I was happy

I was wondering what would be the better sub for SPL use?

Well im not sure what to choose SPL or Daily on a BTL. I want to find a sub that i can Use for Daily and SPL. Does the SPL setting sound like complete ass on music or is it not to bad? Is the daily still pretty good for competing? My woofer is great for daily but not good for competing unless i buy another since its dual 6 ohm. and im a single set up guy. Anyone compete with the daily setting? Anyone listen to music with the SPL setting? thanks

I was just wondering today if you guys were planning on expanding outside of the subwoofer market and venturing into component sets or midbass drivers anytime in the foreseeable future?

I just ordered a BL 12 ohm duel 1. I am not very savvy at all with any of this stuff but know i want good stuff and it to sound good. One of my friends is selling a class D amp rated at 5000watts, I do not know the name of the amp right now, but hes selling it for 150$ because he needs money right now. Of course I dont want to push out 5000watts on my sub lol but I could get a capacitor for it and bring it down to what I want it to be at? I dont really know what im talking about so some help would be much appreciated! And yes, I am having a professional install the sub for me when I get the sub.

Ive spent a lot of time looking for an amp for the FI BL 15 that's on its way to my house. I don't want to spend much over $300 for an amp so do you guys know any good amps for about $300 or less? I was kinda looking at the Power Acoustik BAMF5500/1D but i really dont know how good of an amp it is.

I don't know if this has been talked about on here or not, so I apologize in advance if it has. I was doing a little research on what sub(s) I would like to put in my new car. I was thinking about going with a SSD and when I got on the fi site I saw that it says neo ssd's coming soon or something along those lines. I'm pretty interested, so I figured I'd post here to find out more about it. Besides weight, will switching to neo magnets change the ssd's performance much?(if so how?) Do you guys have an idea when it will be available for purchase? And lastly how will the change effect pricing?
