This is my first box. I just wanted to know what everyone thought about it. It will be made of 3/4 MDF and its for a 15" FI Q. Its tuned to 29hz, and is about 4.5cuft. I have a crude drawing below. Just tell what you think. Thanks.

Hi my name is charlie , Mike Bartell suggested that i contact you guys. I am building a street max 1-2 truck , and am looking for the most efficent sub i can get as this class only allows a single battery . I'm interested in 2-15" subs that will take burps of 3000-4000 watts of clean power. Many companies have these 20,000 plus watt woofers and i fear that they will be too ineficent for my application. Thanks in advance for your time Charlie

Well I hit my first competition today in Mccomb, Ms..I had my 15" BL in the Trunk with the seats up..Just like I ride around with everyday. I hit a 140.9...in the passenger Kick panel with my passenger window down. Should I be discouraged or happy..I hated I couldn't use my own music and had to use the Usac Cd the guy provided me..Cause I didn't know my noter or that cd that they stuck in my deck...I think If I would have know my note I would have done better...Please give me some feedback..

Do you think a Soundstream PCA2000D would give me enough power to push two 15" or 18" Qs? If so would I purchase dual 2 or 1 ohm subs? If I wanted to get the full power out of the amp I would have to go with the 1 ohms, but how would I wire them? This amp is only stable at 1 ohm right? Would a .5 ohm load put too much stress on the amp? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pulled a 145.4dB at 47hz in the kick...Now too bad in my opinion considering the box is 8ft^3 net tuned to 33hz...The subs are getting about 800 watts each.. They definitely had a lot more low end than every other daily driving system that I heard at the comp.. Many people were interested in my subs, and I gave out Fi's website several times! Imagine I could get a 147 or so if I got another box that was more SPL oriented..That may be in my future plans.

To Whom It May Concern (probably Scott), My name is Brad and I currently run a DIYMA 12" subwoofer in a .5ft^3 box. The DIYMA is an amazingly solid sub with HUGE stacked magnets, but its weak point is definitely its cone. Unfortunately, my cone cracked with less than 150 watts and gain set properly. So I am requesting a custom recone kit for my DIYMA. It has a 3" x 2" 4 layer voice coil. This sub is pretty beefy (37lbs) so shipping it would be a last resort. Can you create a new recone kit for this sub? All information on the sub can be found at www.diymobileaudio.com and I can personally talk to the designer of the sub if you need more information. Thank you. -Brad

Soon to have one more 18... Check these videos! Besides the little problem I had with communication, Fi ROCKS! You Tube shrunk the videos and made them a little blurry but you get the pitcher.

well i decided that im goin to buy either buy a 15" BL with only the p chamfer or a 15" Q with the BP option, i have a kicker zx1000.1 rated at 1258 watts total, that box im goin to build is ported and 4 net cu. ft. tuned at 32hz. dont have exact dimensiobs but i will soon. my question is, which sub will perform best with that kind of power. i know that the sound is all box dependant, but which one will most likly get louder, and sound better its my first build, so anything that can get loud and sound good doin it is fine with me thanks

well ive asked this question before but it was with the kicker zx1000.1 that i already have. and now im gettin some money so i can mabe get the kicker zx1500.1 for the BL. i dont know wat size i want to get, but it will be either the 15" or the 18". the options i would get for the sub are the cooling, flatwind coil, p chamfer, and the daily option my real question is, can the BL handle 1500-1700 watts daily with those options?? im think it might be a bit 2 much for it. if theres any other amp that anyone recomeends thats around 1300-1500 watts would be great thanks
