General Fi

So I'm looking to get a 15" TC9 reconed by Fi right now, and possibly a Shocker Sig in the near future. I have sent a few emails to the recone address, but I got no response. Is there a better way to get this done? I would like to get this thing reconed ASAP, so any help at all would be appreciated.

Hey guys I have a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis that I currently have a 12 inch Orion HCCA 12.4 in with an over sized box as seen here And I'm looking to get two Fi Team 15's but I have no clue what the measurements would be for a box or better yet if said box (ported I only do ported) would fit properly in even a trunk that size as I've never owned 15s idk. And help, link or measurments will do thank you.

I recently bought a recone for my HCCA 15 and I think the leads are too short for me to use. Is it usual for the leads to only go past the spider by 1"? Let me know what I can do about this. I have included a couple pics so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks!

hey scott or nick or anyone that knows.. when ordering a sub is it possible to have the terminals on the sub swapped out with ones that have a bigger hole to fit a larger gauge of wire? cuz i wanted to use 8 gauge on my Q but it wont fit on the sub

i metered my new 12" Q last week and hit 139.6 on the dash. its powered by a orion xtr pro1000. I coulda turned it up more but i just wanted to see what it would do. somehow i got 1st place..maybe cuz there were only 3 other people in my class. one of these days im goin to see what it hits in the port cuz it pushes alot of air for just a 12. but yea its a beast and i havnt had any trouble at all with it. Just wanted to thank everyone that gave me different inputs on what I should buy, wouldn't have been able to do it by myself...that's for sure...haha....Also a special thanks to Nick. He helped me out so much via emails on what to buy, but I still bought the wrong sub. >.<....Contacted him and within the day he told me that he got the coils switched for me! Haven't got the sub yet, but I'll let everyone know how it goes! Thanks again, Ryan

some strange man left a box outside my door... Fi Q 12" 2ohm DVC, Loaded (BP Power) pretty much everything's ready to install... just gotta buy some rca's and a small amount of speaker wire... i'm freaking excited thank you fi for prompt shipment and great customer service

just wanted to share my joy , ordered 2 15 dual 1 Q's , already shipped and on the way to israel thank you Scott and Shawn for the fast and great responses one of the best service i have met online everything done within a couple of hours awesome replies and help from Scott, fast and kind gonna run the Q's each in a 2.5 cf sealed boxes , cant sleep at nights waiting for them to arrive hope to post up some pics soon word up guys! gonna rep Fi in israel as good as i can! Well there are so many "Where is my sub!" threads I figured I should change it up a little I ordered my 15 inch ssd about 2 weeks ago and it came today! Faster then I expected and it looks like a great sub. Just wanted to say thanks!

so i got the Re SX with the extra power mods you guys added back from ups today it looks and sounds awesome. i was really blown away by how much stiffer the suspension was than the sx suspension, and those tinsels are out of this world thanks so much for the help guys, it really wangs hard! ill definitely throw some vids up when i get the chance, got the sub 45 min ago and it's in and tested already.

I just want to thank Fi car audio for all the help they have given me. For those that dont know the story here it is.... At WF 06, I needed my atomics reconed and didnt have the materials to do it, so Scott and the guys said that they would no problem. I dropped off my sub at their room/workshop. About 10 minutes into the ordeal Scott informs me that the coil, cone and other parts are wrong. I was, needless to say, screwed. They said to hell with that. asked what freq I burped, what power I had and what class I was running. I didnt know why they asked since I in no way brought enough money to purchase a sub from them on the spot. The friend that introduced me to them sai…

Just bought a SSD 15 with copper coil. Had it for about 3 weeks before i was able to give it some real power. Originally i had it on about 250 watts, and it sounded very well for that. I was surprised really. So then i match it with a good partner, hifonics 1608d Hooked everything up and man did that sub slam. I gave it all of its 800rms and then some. And it still wanted MORE! Played very very nice, the more power i gave it up to its power handling the better the SQ got for me. I didn't completely turn up my amp but everything i threw at the SSD it took it with pleasure, it handled everything nicely and as much as i turned the gain up there was no distortion at all…
